In December 2019, my eldest daughter and her partner, who live overseas, returned to Japan for a month-long visit. They were eager to visit the Pokémon Café and Pokémon Center, which they had been dreaming about. The Pokémon Center next to the café is filled with adorable Pokémon characters. My daughter, her partner, my younger daughter, and I were all excited to be there. Inspired by the cute Pikachu character curry that Mairevi-san had made, I decided to try making it myself. Here are the items I bought: - Character Curry: ¥770 I tried making Pikachu character curry by putting rice into a Pikachu-shaped mold. It didn't turn out as cute as I had hoped. - Nori Chips Goma: ¥756 These are snack chips in a Pikachu can, half the size of regular nori sheets, with sesame seeds. They make a great snack with alcohol. - Pokémon Snack (chocolate): ¥131 These snacks are in the shape of Pikachu's face and have a light chocolate flavor, making them easy to eat. In November 2019, I visited the renovated Daimaru Shinsaibashi store for the first time. There were various areas that caught my interest, such as the food hall on the B2F, but this time I was just doing a preliminary check. I went to the 9F Pokemon Center. I was actually more interested in the cafe, but I found out it was reservation-only, so I decided to come back another time. For now, I bought some snacks at "Pokemon Center Osaka DX". I purchased the Roll Cookies EIEVUI for 1296 yen, which includes 8 cocoa roll cookies and 8 caramel roll cookies. I tried them at home and they were delicious. The cookies were a bit small but had a great taste. They were crispy and went well with tea. It was nice to be able to enjoy two different flavors of cocoa and caramel. Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed Okinawan cuisine at a lunch buffet, had a café mocha at a coffee stand in Kitahorie, and then visited the basement 2nd floor of the main building of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store. The newly opened "Shinsaibashi Food Hall" has 13 shops and 350 seats, offering a variety of food options. After checking out the food hall, I headed to the 9th floor to visit the "Pokemon Center Osaka DX" store. Unfortunately, the Pokemon Cafe required a reservation, so I plan to visit again in two weeks. I bought some Pokemon curry and a set to make character-shaped curry at home. The next day, I tried making the character curry, which turned out cute and delicious. Enjoy!
