The "Suika Matsuri" (Watermelon Festival) has already started♪ in Osaka, Showa-cho, at Fresh Market Aoi. The variety of products is very enjoyable, unlike major supermarkets. They are currently hosting a "Costco Fair" featuring Costco products, and they also have a barbecue corner with rare Japanese sake perfect for cherry blossom viewing. They have surprising good wines that are not typically found in regular supermarkets. They also stock my favorite "Kochi Kubota Foods" additive-free ice candy, which I am grateful for. Plus, ice is only 100 yen(^-^)。。。

I stopped by this new supermarket to use the restroom because it was chilly outside. The store was bright and clean. I felt bad leaving without buying anything, so I took a quick look around and found some delicious grilled chicken skewers in the deli section. They were seasoned with salt and tasted amazing! Yesterday's sweets were sold at Fresh Market Aoi Showacho store. They were strawberry and milk ice candy from Kubota Food in Kochi Prefecture. The ingredients are only milk, dairy products, sugar, and strawberries, with no strange katakana seasoning. It's really delicious. I'm grateful to the store that sources this. They also have a 10,000 yen watermelon on display every year, which never fails to surprise me. #KochiGourmet #SweetsMan
