Do you know La Muu? It's a takoyaki stand at a super cheap supermarket called Daikokuten Bussan along the Semboku 2nd line. You can get 6 pieces for 100 yen, but mayo is sold separately. The taste is amazing for the price, and you order at a vending machine then pick up at the counter. They also have soft serve ice cream, shaved ice in the summer, and recently added tapioca milk tea. They close early, so it's lucky if you can buy some. You can also find their takoyaki at the deli section in the supermarket.

I occasionally passed by this place but had never gone in, so I decided to enter to do some shopping. The interior was very spacious and simple, with products stacked in cardboard boxes giving it a warehouse-style look. As I was putting various groceries into my basket, I noticed a shining corner ahead - it was the bakery section. When I approached, I saw a variety of delicious-looking bread at very reasonable prices, some even pre-packaged. I picked out one item to have as a snack at home, a Whipped Melon Bread for 92 yen (excluding tax). It was a big piece. I paid at the self-checkout counter, a standard feature nowadays. The bread came in a bag sealed with stylish masking tape. On the surface, there was a generous amount of powdered sugar. When I took a bite, the bread had a crispy texture with a subtle sweetness. The fluffy whipped cream had a light and refreshing taste. I really enjoyed the flavor, especially considering it was priced at less than 100 yen before tax. I'm looking forward to trying their croissants next time.

I visited the La Moo Sakai Inter store, a supermarket located along the Semboku 2nd line in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, to do a bulk food shopping. This supermarket is operated by Daikokuten Bussan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Okayama Prefecture, and has many stores in western Japan. Although they have fewer stores compared to nationwide chain supermarkets, each store has a large sales floor area and offers many affordable products. This time, I bought a large size pork belly at the meat section, as well as other frozen foods in bulk. Everything is cheap, but the deli section is especially recommended. Various types of bento boxes are sold for less than 200 yen, making it fun and interesting just to look at. Today, I bought sashimi at the fish section for my evening drink snack, and potato salad at the deli section. The price is reasonable for the amount, and the quality is good and delicious. Before loading a large amount of food into the car, I purchased takoyaki, which I have been curious about for a while. The takoyaki is sold outside the store, and you can purchase a ticket from the vending machine. It's 6 pieces for 100 yen. The octopus inside is slightly small, but each takoyaki is slightly larger in size. The sauce is generous and filling. Thank you for the meal! I would like to visit again.

I tried buying a cheap bento box. I found a nori bento box at the bento corner of La Mue Sakai Inter store, which I occasionally visit, for 198 yen including tax, 185 yen excluding tax. The bento box was called "Manpuku Nori Bento" and the contents were not visible. I was a little curious, but today I decided to be brave and buy it. After heating in the microwave for about 1 minute, the rice became warm and easier to eat. The nori bento had a fried white fish fillet and chikuwa tempura on top of the seaweed, and the rice was slightly soft but not bad at all. It even came with a little bit of kimpira gobou. All of this for 200 yen with change back! Today's cost performance was excellent. Next time, I'll try buying something different like yakisoba. Honestly, this alone was a bit unsatisfying, so I'll also buy takoyaki on the way home. Thank you for the meal!

The super cheap bento from Ramu for 198 yen is unbelievable! The taste is decent for the price though. It's wallet-friendly which is much appreciated.
