A relatively new store that opened recently. It is cheaper than shopping at the supermarket in the nearby shopping center. If you are planning to buy offerings, go to the other store as they do not have fresh flowers. However, if you don't need flowers, this store is a better option. The snacks and other items are around 50 yen cheaper compared to buying them around this area, which I think is a good deal.

A new "Gyomu Super" store has opened near JR Sakai Station, about a 10-minute walk away, close to the Indian curry restaurant "Himalaya Village". There is ample parking and bicycle parking available. I went there at 10 am on a weekday, and some items were already sold out, indicating that the store is quite busy. It was only my second time visiting a Gyomu Super store. This particular store has a wide variety of fresh foods and a lot of deli items made in the kitchen. And of course, the prices are cheap! Even though some items were sold out, tofu was priced at 39 yen. The tofu I purchased was only 58 yen! Deli items were priced at 54 yen per piece. They are perfect for bento box side dishes. Although I didn't buy any this time, there were many delicious-looking frozen foods that I would like to try next time. They also have a wide range of seasonings, including Asian flavors, which made browsing enjoyable. I will definitely go back!

Sakai City, Sakai-ku, Higashi-Nunominishi-cho. A 6-minute walk from JR Sakai Station on the JR Hanwa Line. I visited the Gyomu Super JR Sakai Station store. Today, I heard that there is a tuna cutting show, and many customers have come to the store. It is bustling. This Gyomu Super has a fresh fish store called Shimizu Suisan, where they sell whole fish, sashimi slices, sushi, fillets, and more. They also offer fish processing such as gutting and filleting for free, which is a nice touch. Even though Gyomu Super already has reasonable prices, the affordable prices for fresh fish are fantastic. I usually buy seafood-packed sushi rolls and sushi, but today I bought otoro and chutoro in slices after the tuna cutting show. As the guy explained during the show, I wrapped the slices in kitchen paper, then tightly in plastic wrap. I let them sit in the refrigerator's chilled compartment for a day, as recommended, and enjoyed them the next day. Tuna bowl, nigiri sushi, sashimi – all were delicious. Comparing the otoro and chutoro, they were both so tasty! This is what it means to have melt-in-your-mouth tuna. The tuna cutting show at Gyomu Super was really great. It was impressive and educational. I especially appreciate that they hold it at a supermarket near my home. I hope they hold it regularly, not just this time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Sakai City, Sakai-ku, Higashi Nunu Nishi-cho. A 6-minute walk from JR Sakai Station on the JR Hanwa Line. I visited the Gyoumu Super JR Sakai Station store. It has been 3 months since it opened. Despite the rain, there are still many customers. It's already affordable at Gyoumu Super, but the evening is a great time for discounts. I went to the fresh fish section. They sell whole fish, sashimi, sushi, and fillets. This time, I bought a Hamachi salad roll and nigiri. The sushi was fresh and had a good cost performance. I usually buy Hamachi fillets here, but the salad roll was also good. It had plenty of Hamachi and crispy lettuce. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again from time to time.

I visited the Gyomu Super JR Sakai-shi Ekimae store in Higashiunishi-cho, Sakai City, Sakai-ku. It has been two months since it opened, but there are still a lot of customers. The parking space in front of the store is full, so I parked my car in the second parking lot. Inside the store, I found that the prices are really cheap. You can buy vegetables, fish, and meat at affordable prices, in addition to frozen foods. Today, I bought Burgbrau, a non-alcoholic beverage from Germany, as well as the famous Chicken Nanban, Hamachi sashimi, and Menchi Katsu. Burgbrau from Gyomu Super is made from 100% German malt barley and costs only 79 yen for a 500ml bottle. Despite being so cheap, it had a good foam and tasted delicious, suitable for everyday use and goes well with food. I also noticed some customers buying a large amount of seasonings, who didn't seem like regular customers. They might be from nearby restaurants. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Higashi-Kasumigaoka Nishimachi, Sakai City, this store is a branch of the Gyomu Super near JR Sakai Station. I had been somewhat resigned to the fact that the pain in the base of my left foot was gout, a condition often heard about. When the pain subsided, I went to a yakitori restaurant with a friend and overheard a regular customer talking about it. They mentioned that the dried plum chips sold at Gyomu Super are good for people with gout, but they are always sold out. Today, I finally found the dried plum chips and bought them (of course, for my friend too). I bought two and plan to give one to my friend this week.(笑)

Sakai City, Sakai-ku, Higashiunishi-cho. I visited the Gyomu Super JR Sakai-shi Station store. The long-awaited opening is finally here. I have always loved Gyomu Super, and I am so happy that a store has opened within walking distance. Yay! The store is located on the street where Niku Shokudo Hanashin-ya and Pesabakery are. This street has been getting busier recently. This Gyomu Super store, operated by the Tomiz Group, is the fifth store in this area. This store has a kitchen inside, and I am especially happy that they have "Sousai Vegetables" where they produce and sell side dishes. Today, as expected on the first day, there was a huge line from the morning. My wife lined up during the day to do some shopping. I visited after work, around 8 pm. Even at this time, there were still a lot of customers. The parking lot was almost full, and there was a line at the cash register. Gyomu Super really does have cheap vegetables and fresh fish. Other supermarkets nearby must be curious about this new opening. Around 8 pm, the half-price sale at the Sousai Vegetables corner began. In just 10 minutes, the products were disappearing from the corner. Even though the prices are already low, getting half off from here, how much more of a deal could it be. Elderly men and women were filling their baskets with groceries and heading home. There are so many people walking around here, more than usual. It feels like the town has become brighter and livelier. I want to express my gratitude to Gyomu Super. The famous Chicken Nanban and Negitoro Futomaki are perfect for a night of drinking. They are delicious! They have a good portion size and the cost performance is excellent. I will definitely be visiting here from time to time. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that a Gyomu Super store opened, so I went to check it out. When I arrived, there was a line of several dozen people waiting outside due to entry restrictions. Once inside, the first 2000 customers received a Gyomu Super shopping bag as a gift. The bag was sturdy but a bit heavy, not ideal for carrying a large amount of groceries. My main purpose was to buy strawberries and vegetables. They had a special offer on opening day - 4 packs of strawberries for 1000 yen. Although it didn't include Amaou strawberries, there were various types to choose from. I also bought broccoli for 50 yen and other vegetables at low prices. They also sold deli items, but I didn't purchase any. However, I did buy a Zunda Ohagi. I wanted a pack of 2, but they only had packs of 1 or 3, so I bought a single one. It was large with plenty of edamame inside, and the sweetness was just right. The store is located between Sakai and Asaka stations, giving off a slightly run-down vibe, but it seems like a convenient option for those living around Asaka station.
