Awa-za to Nishi-ohashi ◇ Pasta ◇ [Nishi-ku Tatsuibori 2-chome] Located on the right side after crossing the second signal (Tatsuibori 1 Nishi) to the south of the intersection of Chuo Odori and Naniwa-suji (Awa-za 1), is the newly opened restaurant "Pasta Piu En to En." Two weeks after its opening, I visited with a friend on a holiday. The restaurant is bright and clean, facing Naniwa-suji, with a wide variety of pasta types (Tonnerelli, Tagliatelle, Gnocchi, Orecchiette, etc.). When in doubt, ◆ Today's Pasta (1430 yen): Beef tendon, onion, and broccoli pasta, homemade bread + organic roasted vegetables ◆ Small Minestrone (220 yen) ◆ Glass of wine (600 yen). In about 3 minutes, the roasted vegetables, white wine, bread, and minestrone soup were brought to the table in that order. The soup, as the name suggests, was full of ingredients without using tomatoes, focusing solely on vegetables, which was a bit surprising but good. The homemade bread made with natural yeast was not freshly baked, but rather cold, which felt a bit odd. Then, the main star, the pasta, arrived. "Let's eat." The short pasta (Sedanini) resembled macaroni. Personally, I prefer Sedanini Bolognese, but the pasta of the day was light with onions and broccoli. You could feel the owner's dedication in the restaurant, where you could also see the pasta workshop and kitchen. The interior had a slightly reduced volume with classical music playing. The counter seats were spacious, making it easy for even a woman dining alone. I look forward to trying a different pasta next time. "Thank you for the meal."
