This place, which has been on my go-to list for a while, is here. Apart from BM (laughs), I'm aiming for a limited quantity of hand-woven sushi. In the midst of heavy snowfall, you can feel the atmosphere as you turn off the main road into the alley. A traditional house cafe. From the entrance to the interior, the restroom, it's all like a traditional house. It's really lovely ♡ There are 3 seats in the box. The second floor is the same. It feels like almost all reserved customers, with young couples, two women, in a quiet space. Now, as I had made a reservation, the hand-woven sushi dishes were almost ready and arrived shortly after taking our seats. The order was ◆ Maruyama premium hand-woven sushi 2300 yen ◆ Premium beer 500 yen Tempura, chawanmushi, with ice, vinegar rice, and nori are free refills. A very beautiful plate. A sushi rice paddle in a tea bowl for hand-rolled sushi. The miso soup was a bit light on the dashi. As someone who loves vinegar rice, the rice has a light flavor. Roasted duck, chicken breast with yuzu pepper dressing, raw ham with shiso and cream cheese, Hokkaido octopus, scallop, salmon and cream cheese, sea bream with kelp, sweet and sour pickled turnips, simmered pumpkin, mashed potatoes with Hokkaido potatoes, bamboo shoots and snow peas with walnut miso, cucumber flower miso mayonnaise, lotus root kinpira with zucchini, eringi and broccoli sautéed with salt koji, carrots and daikon with trefoil knot, kamada's rolled omelette, carrots with honey mustard, lemon-stewed sweet potatoes, fried eggplant with garlic. Small bites of each dish. Tempura of shiitake mushrooms, myoga, and shishito peppers on a separate plate. Chawanmushi can be rolled up like hand rolls, placed on top of the plate to make a bowl, or simply eaten as a set meal! There are various ways to enjoy it, which is fun ♪ Each dish is carefully prepared, highlighting the flavors of the ingredients. There was less sashimi than expected, and less seaweed to roll with, but the soy sauce gelée was quite delicious. The chawanmushi was firm in texture. The tempura doesn't have a crispy texture. The cream cheese dishes are best enjoyed with alcohol, such as sake or wine. I ordered beer, but since the plate with vinegar rice arrived almost at the same time, I couldn't enjoy them together. It might be a good choice for a special meal, especially given the location in Maruyama. It was delicious. A place I'd like to take someone to! Thank you for the meal (╹◡╹)
