Inside the Phoenix Wings is a butcher shop. I came here to buy their delicious beef tendon stew, as recommended by MyRebi-san. The shop is quite spacious, with partition poles placed in front of it. When I visited during a weekday afternoon, there weren't many customers, but I imagine it gets crowded on weekends! It must be a popular shop. They also sell high-quality meat, but I didn't pay attention to that and bought the following items instead: - Beef tendon stew: $3.80 (173g) - Pork trotters (3 pieces): $9.00 ($3.00 per piece) I originally planned to buy croquettes as well, but since I bought the pork trotters, I'll save that for next time! The beef tendon stew was indeed delicious, with tenderly cooked beef tendon and konjac. It will definitely go well with beer! The pork trotters were a bit tough, so I pressure-cooked them again until they were soft and tasty, despite losing their shape a bit. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the meal!

I always rely on it. In the specialty shopping street inside Otori Wings, a traditional shopping mall in Sakai, there is a shop called "Takeda-ya" where I often buy meat, croquettes, and fried foods. My favorite evening snack from here is the "Beef tendon stew (100g for 220 yen excluding tax)". The beef tendon, which is tenderly stewed by the butcher, has a nice sweet soy sauce-based seasoning, and it goes well with beer! I can't help but buy it when I see it. My town, Sakai, boasts the shopping mall pioneer "Ho-O Wings," where you can find the butcher shop "Takedaya" offering delicious minced cutlets for 130 yen each (excluding tax)♪ As soon as you enter Ho-O Wings from the first floor entrance where the udon restaurant "Kiraku" is located, you will find Takedaya right away^ ^ It's convenient for when you're feeling a little hungry in between shopping or when you want to add a little something extra to your dinner◎ I recommend going on Fridays for the special deal and enjoying freshly fried cutlets early in the morning (´∀｀) The cutlets are a decent size with juicy meat juices overflowing. The croquettes from Takedaya at Ootori Wings are delicious! The croquettes are 75 yen each, with options like regular croquette, curry croquette, and meat and potato croquette for 108 yen. The meat and potato croquette is full of filling and so tasty. The croquettes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The curry croquette is hot and fresh.
