I wonder why they call it "fighting illness." Because when you say "fighting," it implies a win or lose situation. If you think you can win, you could have won, but you lost because you didn't put in enough effort, and that's why you die? That's not true. I wouldn't want to be told that. If there's a win or lose, it's with the doctors or medical care. The medical care at that time is the one that loses, not the patient. In the drama "Mystery to Iu Nakare," Sadao Hisano starts speaking, saying "I've always thought," and it gives you chills. It's a parade of great lines. I want to savor them. Now, today is rainy after a long time. I'll have lunch at "Yayoiken" in "Nine Mall Kujo Shopping Street," starting from where I can walk without an umbrella. - Mixed Fried Oyster Set Meal = 990 yen. Oh, this is good. Two fried oysters, shrimp tempura, and horse mackerel tempura, a luxurious trio. The juicy fried oysters were even better than expected. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. It seems that Yayoiken is starting a hot pot series. I quietly look forward to the next opportunity. Let's strive on the path we take, so that we can end without regrets.

Yayoiken Kujyo branch located at the entrance of 9mall. Open from 04:00 to 27:00. The shop has a nice and woody feel. I visited at 09:15 in the morning. There were no customers before me, but it quickly filled up with customers afterwards. I ordered one Natto Morning Set, which had a generous portion of natto and rice, and one Pork Miso Soup. The food was satisfying and served hot. With Yayoiken's application coupon, I was able to change the miso soup to pork soup for free. Thank you!

Located at the end of the shopping street, this Yayoiken has been renovated and looks very clean from both the outside and inside. I sometimes come here alone, and there are many menu options that I feel like eating, so I think it's a restaurant that I won't get tired of. There are many of this type of set meal restaurants, but not many branches, so I want to cherish this place. I sometimes go to gyudon (beef bowl) restaurants, but I prefer this place over gyudon restaurants.

I don't go there very often, but when I do, it's always late at night. I usually go there when I finish work late or after drinking. They are open late at night, so it's convenient. I often order set meals, and since they offer unlimited rice refills, I tend to eat too much when I'm hungry. I always regret it afterwards. Next time I go, I plan to try the rice bowl dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, and I think it's a place where you can easily go alone.
Recently, I went to a nearby Yayoiken for breakfast. I ordered the silver salmon set meal from the breakfast menu (tax included 490 yen). It came with rice, miso soup, grilled salmon, natto, raw egg, and seasoned seaweed. It was a meal that really encouraged you to eat a lot of rice. I dug in right away. The salmon had a light saltiness, and I squeezed some lemon over it. Delicious! The rice went down easily. Then I had the natto, added a little mustard and soy sauce, mixed it well, and enjoyed it with the rice. That also made the rice disappear quickly! I ended up eating an extra bowl of rice after finishing the salmon. There was a lonely raw egg left, and I thought about drinking it, but I turned it into egg over rice. It was delicious. I ended up eating too much. Thank you for the meal!

A stable set meal restaurant located in Kujo Nine Mall. It is a nationwide chain, but for some reason, the store's atmosphere is very stylish. It is consistently busy but easy to get in. I went there for dinner and ordered the chicken nanban set meal and tamagoyaki, all for less than 1000 yen. My wife ordered the limited-time cold miso soup and chicken nanban set. The unlimited rice and pickles are much appreciated. What impressed me about this place was that the dishes were served according to the proper Japanese table setting, as seen on the TV show "Geinoukakuzuke Check" a while back. It made me realize that this nationwide chain really puts effort into training their staff.

I went here because I finished work late and wanted a casual place where I could eat alone. This restaurant is always busy even late at night. They have a lot of counter seats and also tables, so it's very convenient. You can have unlimited rice refills, so you can eat a lot without worry! The menu is also diverse, so you won't get bored. The interior is bright and welcoming, so it's great for women dining alone too! I will definitely use this place again when I'm out late. Thank you for the meal.

Yayoi-ken ⭐ Kujo store is open even late at night, so I occasionally use it. I visited for lunch this time since they recently renovated. They have a wide variety of set meals, but I usually go for the chicken katsu set or the fried chicken set. Today, I enjoyed the fried chicken set for 740 yen. It's nice that you can get free refills of rice, right? However, I hope they improve their service. When I bought my meal ticket and sat down, I waited for a while but no one came to bring water or collect my ticket. When I tried to get their attention, there was no response. I finally went to the kitchen and found a staff member sleeping! I was quite surprised. Anyway, I finished my meal and left. I hadn't been back for a while, but since they have renovated and improved the atmosphere, I'm thinking of going again. Thank you for the meal! (。-人-。)

The renovated Kujo branch is now looking beautiful. It is the most stable among the set meal chain stores. With unlimited rice refills and delicious main dishes, the cost performance is quite high. There are also many delicious seasonal limited-time menu items. Classics like fried oysters are great, and the chilled ochazuke in the summer is a must-have. The breakfast menu is surprisingly tasty too. When I feel like eating salmon, I usually go to Yoshinoya. However, personally, I don't recommend the egg breakfast with sausages, as I prefer it with wieners.

Speaking of Yayoi Ken, if you order a set meal, you can have unlimited rice for the same price. The dishes are decent and suitable, ranging from fish set meals to ginger pork and chicken dishes. They also have a variety of side menu options like a small portion of fried chicken or salad. The food seems freshly made and the flavors are not too boring. It would be great if they also offered individual items in addition to set meals for those who want to have extra rice.

Yayoiken, a familiar chain restaurant, offers all-you-can-eat rice. However, after 12 pm, you can't drink alcohol and there are no single dishes available, which is a bit disappointing. It would be great if you could order a few dishes separately and enjoy plenty of rice. The taste is consistent and dishes like Chicken Nanban or Karaage are delicious. The location is near the exit of Kujo shopping street, with a clear sign. The rice is cooked well and can be fluffy depending on the timing.

Yayoiken is located on the Minato-dori side of Kujo Shopping Street. I have frequented this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The interior is fairly spacious. Due to the many pachinko parlors nearby, there seems to be a lot of customers taking a break from pachinko and coming in. Young people often talk about pachinko and pachislot here. Therefore, it tends to get crowded during lunch and dinner times. Well, there are plenty of other dining options nearby such as Matsuya, Yoshinoya, ramen shops, and curry shops, so if you adjust your timing slightly, you can always find a seat you like. I love Yayoiken because I can always have a delicious meal here. My favorite is the pork cutlet set meal and the hamburger set meal with extra grated radish. It's great that you can have unlimited rice refills. Thank you for the delicious meals every time!

Yes, I'm the person who loves Fist of the North Star anime so much that I used to cry when the show ended. My favorite characters are Rei, Shu, and Juza. Why is it all about Nanto? Nanto Fist! This time, it's about Yayoi Kujou, not Yayoi Ken. This restaurant stands near the entrance of Kujo Shopping Street. It seems to be a set meal restaurant, and you can have unlimited rice! I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Set Meal for 780 yen. It was delicious, and I enjoyed the rice. I'll definitely go back again.

"Miyamoto Munashi", "Machikadoya", "Ootoya", "The Meshiya", "Maido Ookini Shokudo"... What was the other one? One of those typical set meal chain restaurants. I don't usually go to these kinds of places, but out of the ones I've been to, I think Yayoiken has the best rice. The rice always turns out well-cooked, including at this Kujo branch. I always end up eating too much. However, I haven't been to "Miyamoto Munashi" or "Maido Ookini Shokudo" so this is just a reference. "Machikadoya" might have been an off day, but I had really bad rice once... When I went to a different branch on another day, it was okay, but still not up to Yayoiken's standard. The side dishes don't vary much between the chains, as long as it's a fail-safe classic menu. Prices are similar, and I haven't been particularly impressed with the service, but it's just normal customer service and the meal comes out quickly after eating, so it's not a big deal. So, I know it sounds repetitive, but the rice. In that sense, for now, Yayoiken is my favorite among the set meal chains."
