Before watching the baseball game, I was exhausted from the scorching heat and thirsty, so I visited this place. One person ordered the Mini Milk Noir Set (¥1,000) and I ordered an iced coffee (¥500). The total came to ¥1,650 (tax included). Komeda's coffee uses good quality beans, which is nice. We chatted for about 10 minutes while waiting, and then the Mini Milk Noir Set and iced coffee arrived. The Mini Milk Noir was like a Shirone with condensed milk, sweet and delicious. It was just the right size for two people. The iced coffee was consistently good and refreshing. In terms of cost performance, it was average.

I tried Komeda's morning set for the first time, thanks to a friend who took me there. Even though we are in Osaka, I was able to experience the classic Nagoya style where you get various side dishes with your coffee. I ordered the Komeda coffee for 600 yen with a salad set for 290 yen. You can choose between a mountain-shaped toast or a round bread with the coffee, which determines the variety of set options you can get. I chose the round bread with boiled egg and strawberry jam. The salad set came with potato salad. The warm coffee with strawberry jam bread warmed me up on a cold winter morning, the salad refreshed me, and the boiled egg gave me energy. It's nice to have a proper breakfast in the morning.

Next to the Osaka Dome, a new store of Komeda Coffee has opened at the Aeon mall. I feel compelled to go there because of my deep love for Komeda, even though it's just a coffee shop. But why is there always a long line in the morning? And it seems like there are many young women waiting too! Could there be an event at the Osaka Dome? After putting my name on the waiting board, I sat on the chairs lined up outside the store to wait. I looked up the event at the Osaka Dome and found out it's the Bruno Mars Japan Tour 2022. I had no idea who he was (sorry). It seems unrelated to the line at the store (sorry again). Finally, after about 20 minutes, I entered the store. It was not exactly full inside, but they seemed a bit short-staffed. I ordered my usual Cream Coffee for 600 yen (tax included) and the Morning Set C (Nagoya specialty Ogura An) with syrup-free soft serve on the side. I've eaten this so many times that I'm already tired of it, but I still think Komeda's toast is delicious. Also, the soft serve is good too. Thank you for the meal.

A new Komeda Coffee shop has opened in the Aeon mall in front of Osaka Kyocera Dome. When I visited before, there was a long line so I gave up. This time, I just sat down and waited as there were more than two empty seats available. Komeda Coffee is known for their menu items appearing larger in person than in the photos. I ordered the limited-time Full Moon Burger for 750 yen and a generous serving of Iced Cafe au Lait for 620 yen, totaling 1,370 yen. First, the Iced Cafe au Lait arrived with a small snack. The Full Moon Burger came next and it looked bigger than I expected! It had a turnover-style fried egg, hamburger patty, and lettuce. Even for me, the thickness was hard to fit in my mouth. It reminded me of a Sasebo burger. I had to compress it to eat it. The hamburger patty had onions in it, like a homemade one. The yolk of the turnover egg was runny and spilled out, but the bun was big enough to catch it. I just wish the buns were the same size as the patty.

I tried the "Azuki Komachi Aoi" at Komeda Coffee in Aeon Mall Osaka Dome City, and it felt a bit like Nagoya. This chain cafe has locations nationwide, and the one at Aeon Mall Osaka Dome City is in Chiyozaki, Osaka (a bit of a walk from Dome-mae Station). The shop near the entrance of Aeon Mall Osaka Dome City has a kitchen and register at the front, with many tables for 1-4 people throughout. I ordered the "Azuki Komachi Aoi" drink, which is a three-layered Japanese-style cafe latte with azuki beans at the bottom, milk in the middle, and coffee on top. It has a pleasant flavor and a refreshing taste, and you can mix it all together with the provided straw and spoon, or eat the azuki beans separately. It costs 560 yen per cup, but it comes with a free set during morning hours, making it a good deal. There are various other cafe and food menu options available, making it a nice place to relax after a visit to Kyocera Dome Osaka. I arrived early for Num's retirement match, so I stopped by (before the match) as it was just opening. I ordered a cream coffee and a potato chips. The place is good for charging and has plenty of seats, so I liked it. Personally, I wish they accepted Paypay for payment. So, it looks like this place will be good for accompanying me to the match. 😂
