I stopped by to have a quick lunch during work. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a homely feel. It felt like there were locals around, which was nice. The rice and miso soup were delicious, and I was happy to see them on the menu. The miso soup was full of ingredients, which I really enjoyed! It had a traditional taste and was satisfying for miso soup lovers like me. The cost performance was also good! I'm grateful for that. This cafe has a nostalgic charm, and if it were nearby, I would definitely come for breakfast. Thank you for the meal! (*^^*)

JR Taisho Station is an 8-minute walk south. It is a cafe located on Taisho Street. The nearest bus stop is Sangenya Higashi 4-chome. The orange tent is a landmark. Spring has passed and the slightly sweaty early summer weather has arrived, but due to the impact of the new coronavirus, there are fewer people around. Inside the shop, there are 6 counter seats and 5 tables. The master, with his hair tied back in a traditional Japanese style called "chonmage," and a plump female staff member run the place. The BGM is nostalgic enka music from a wired connection. Thankfully, they offer free Wi-Fi. The morning service is available from 7 am to 11 am, with 8 options: Toast, boiled egg, mini salad for 400 yen; Maple toast, boiled egg, mini salad for 400 yen; Cinnamon toast, boiled egg, mini salad for 400 yen; Milky toast, boiled egg, mini salad for 400 yen; Grape bread, boiled egg, mini salad for 400 yen; Egg sandwich for 400 yen; Ham sandwich for 400 yen; Hot dog, boiled egg for 500 yen. All come with a drink. The drinks are all priced at 400 yen individually, so the morning set only covers the drink cost. The individual prices may be a bit high, but the morning set offers good value. I ordered the morning set with hot coffee and an egg sandwich. It was ready in about 5 minutes. The sandwich had lettuce and freshly cooked egg, with the thick lettuce providing a crunchy texture and the warm egg adding a nice touch. It was a very delicious egg sandwich. The white cup of blended coffee was poured generously. For 400 yen, it was worth it. The morning at this cafe is a "bull's-eye" with the song "Ura Ura Uraura Ura Ura Uraura" from Chibi Maruko-chan, which I love (laughs). It was a delicious meal.
