The first time I posted my review about Hoodeli, so please refer to it for details. This time, I will share my experience having lunch at the restaurant. First of all, there is a cute and grumpy cat that always hangs around the front of the shop. The cat, which was originally a stray, ended up staying at the shop due to various reasons, and despite its grumpy appearance, it is actually quite friendly and always makes me feel warm and fuzzy when I see it sleeping. As for the food, I ordered the signature dish, Roast Beef Donburi (set for 1380 yen). The beef was thick and had a good amount of marbling, which I personally prefer over lean cuts. The seasoning was simple and traditional, allowing the delicious flavor of the meat to shine through. The dish was so tasty that I finished it in no time. Even when I had it at Hoodeli, it was delicious, and the fact that you can order until 2 am in the morning is a big plus. The lunch may be a bit pricey at 1380 yen, but considering the satisfaction it brings, it actually feels quite reasonable. The soup was surprisingly delicious, and the salad, although not a standout, was a nice addition to the meal. What's more, the prices remain the same in the evening, which is quite a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and casual, with a world map-like decoration that adds a nice touch. The space may seem small at first glance, but there is actually plenty of room towards the back. Overall, Hoodeli is a great place to enjoy tasty food at a reasonable price, and the owner's friendly and welcoming personality adds to the charm of the place. With great food, good value, and a pleasant ambiance, Hoodeli is a highly recommended restaurant in the area.

There is a meat bar with a board cat. I found it when I was craving for meat. I ordered roast beef salad, thick-cut tongue, chicken steak, and beef tendon stew. I like lean red meat. The tongue and chicken steak were not too heavy, and I could taste the flavor of the meat well, satisfying. The beef tendon stew had a comforting taste like meat and potatoes, and the carefully processed beef tendons were delicious too. Thank you for the meal.

In the southern part of Kokura, where options for late-night food are limited to family restaurants, beef bowl chains, and Lawson convenience stores, I discovered a place that serves food until 2 am. They offer a roast beef bowl for 2500 yen, which is quite pricey, but I decided to give it a try. The portion was generous and the meat was thick and of high quality. The seasoning was simple, allowing the flavor of the meat to shine through. I also tried adding some rock salt from home, which enhanced the taste even more. Despite initially feeling expensive, the quality of the dish made it worth the price. This place is a hidden gem in the area and definitely worth a visit, especially for late-night dining. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, and I plan to go back again.
