On the second floor of the building, there is "Animil," but on a different floor, there is a "Snake Cafe" with a bigger sign, so Animil feels a bit quiet. These two shops are unrelated. There is no parking lot, but there is a shop in Amerikamura, so it is recommended to park at a nearby coin parking lot. On holidays, the roads become chaotic with tourists, making it difficult to drive. If you park a little away from the city, the parking fee is cheaper and recommended.
Animil does not require reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee system includes an entrance fee plus a mandatory one drink (500-550 yen) for the regular pack: 60 minutes for 1,000 yen, 90 minutes for 1,450 yen. For those who need it, there is a feeding fee of 400 yen for dogs, cats, rabbits, and 600 yen for capybaras.
In addition, there is a mega pack that includes entrance fee, one drink, and 400 yen worth of feed: 60 minutes for 2,100 yen, 90 minutes for 2,550 yen. For an additional 200 yen, capybara feed is included. The prices are like this... If you choose the regular pack, you have to buy a drink and feed, otherwise the animals won't come near you... So in the end, it's the same price as ordering the mega pack.
Surprisingly, as soon as the feed runs out, the dogs and cats don't come near at all, and they quickly move away when you try to approach and touch them... In the world of animals as well, the lack of feed creates distance... It's a tough world not only in the human world but also in the animal world. The capybaras don't move much, so you can pet them even without feed. Goat feed is sold in the floor's gachapon. In both regular and mega packs, if you choose the 90-minute course, you get a mini dessert included.
