Even though I had just eaten lunch, I decided to stop by Hans' cake shop on the way in the car. It's a bit far from Sakai to Kumatori-cho, but I wanted to try their delicious tarts. I got a strawberry tart, which I love, and my companion got a peach tart. We also had iced café lattes. I hadn't had tarts in a while, but they were delicious! I also bought a fig tart and a Mont Blanc tart to take home, and they were just as tasty the next day.

I visited a cake shop called HANS in Kumatori after work in November of the 4th year of Reiwa. I had a Japanese strawberry shortcake and a pear tart. Since I ate in, the total came to exactly 1100 yen. I have been to HANS a few times before, but this is my first time posting a review. The cafe closes at 6:30 pm with the last order at 6 pm, so I arrived just in time to enjoy the delicious desserts. Here is the breakdown of the prices (including tax): Japanese Strawberry Shortcake Takeout 500 yen, Eat-in 509 yen, Pear Tart Takeout 580 yen, Eat-in 591 yen.

There is a parking lot at the store. It's fairly close to the train station, within walking distance. If you go by car, there are signs so it's easy to find. The cakes are friendly and easy for anyone to eat. They would make a nice gift as well.

On the way back from a drive with my son, we passed by HANS Patisserie near Kumatori Station. It's a well-known local shop where I once bought a birthday cake for my sister. They have a spacious parking lot and a nice building where you can also dine in. Inside, you'll find a variety of cakes on display. It's the kind of place where you might have trouble deciding what to get. I asked my son to choose, and he picked the chocolate shortcake. I got the milk crepe, my wife got the Mont Blanc and golden soufflé. They all looked delicious from the outside. I'll definitely consider coming back here whenever we're in the area.

Osaka's Honmachi is a business district where many companies are concentrated. It is also one of the prime locations in Osaka, so there are plenty of restaurants and dessert shops. In this Honmachi area and in Kumatori, Izumisano District, there is a second branch of a cake shop called "HANS." It's intriguing to have a store in both the bustling city center of Honmachi and the outskirts of Kumatori. The Kumatori store has a suburban feel with a spacious well-maintained garden, a brick building, and a stone-paved facade. They also have a parking lot. It is a large cake shop loved by the local community. Although the cafe corner was closed during the renovation, they usually have a tea room. I bought a simple fig tart for 550 yen and a rare cheesecake for 370 yen. The luxurious tart had a fresh whole fig on top, beautifully sliced with a sparkling glaze. The rare cheesecake was rich yet light in texture, with an Oreo cookie accent. They also offer a variety of baked goods such as cookies, galettes, raisin sandwiches, and pound cakes, all looking delicious. I later found out on their website that they also sell an original tea called "Amstee." It is a tea brand born in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City, mainly dealing with Sri Lankan tea, sourced directly from tea companies in Sri Lanka, ensuring high-quality tea leaves at reasonable prices. I wish I had noticed this earlier. Preparing in advance is important. Their blend flavored teas looked delicious. Foreign teas tend to have a strong aroma, but domestically blended teas often have a more natural flavor. I will definitely check it out next time! Thank you for the meal.

After enjoying a delicious parfait at the end of the Kihoku tour, we passed through Inunakiyama and made our way back home via Kumatori. Before that, we remembered a cake shop near Kumatori Station that caught our attention, so we decided to stop by. HANS Patisserie... After researching, we found out that besides this Kumatori branch, they also have a shop in Honmachi, Osaka! Could it be a famous shop? For now, we plan to ogle at the cakes in the showcase and take home the ones that catch our eye. 😊 - Fig Tart - Cheesecake This time, we were quite full, so we reached our limit with just these two. The fig tart was incredibly juicy, packed with the deliciousness of figs, and quite good. The cheesecake was also delicious, staying true to its basic flavor, although I personally felt that the brûlée on top was unnecessary. 😅 Due to being full and visiting late, the variety was limited this time, but I would like to visit earlier if I have the chance. Visited in August 2021 ♥ This shop is a very cute cake shop in Kumatori. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the store, and the exterior of the store is very stylish ( ´艸｀). Towards the end of August, the summer heat is still lingering around noon, so I brought a cooler box to buy cakes for my daughter٩(^‿^)۶. There are very cute cakes lined up in the showcase, and I couldn't decide which one to choose. After much deliberation, I chose the most delicious and cutest ones: ✱Tiramisu ¥450 - A cake made with coffee and rich cheese cream. It looks similar to pudding at first glance, but it's actually tiramisu♡. ✱Melon Ball ¥600 - Melons cut into perfect spheres piled up like a mountain. Underneath, there is custard, whipped cream, and sponge cake in abundance♡. ✱Momotaro ¥600 - A limited-time cake with a tender peach half on top and a roll cake underneath. The gentle sweetness of the peach is delicious♡. These three cakes come in transparent glass containers for tiramisu, a cute melon-patterned container for melon ball, and a basket for Momotaro, which are too cute to throw away, so I am reusing them (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵). Just a few minutes walk from Kumatori Station, there is a stylish cake shop next to a cafe where you can also eat in. They offer a wide variety of cakes using plenty of fresh fruits. Each slice is large and not too alcoholic, so it can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages. The turnover is good, so you can always get fresh items. They are open every day except for New Year's, making it very convenient. In August, they have cakes like Cassis Orange for 460 yen, Basque Cheesecake for 480 yen, and Chocolate Mille-feuille for 530 yen. The Cassis and orange mousse cake is light and refreshing, the Basque Cheesecake is smooth and rich with a strong sour taste, and the Chocolate Mille-feuille has a generous amount of chocolate cream with a crunchy texture from nuts. They also make cream puffs to order. The avocado quiche is also quite delicious.

I visited after shopping at Rinku Outlet with a friend, looking to buy a melon ball. The bowl is made of pottery and has a cute melon pattern. It seems like it could be reused when making sweets. The melon ball has four layers: melon flesh, whipped cream, custard cream, and dough. The melon is soft, very sweet, and has a rich aroma. I was surprised by how delicious the custard cream was. I wish I had also bought a cream puff. I don't come to this area often, so I would like to find another opportunity to come and buy again.

A pastry shop located in a bedroom community on the outskirts of Osaka. It's just a few minutes' walk from the JR station where the rapid train stops, so I occasionally go there to buy some pastries. Today, I got the fruit shortcake. It's topped with a variety of colorful fruits. My favorite melon ball was sold out, so I went with my second choice, but the fruit shortcake was delicious as well. Not only the fruits but also the sponge cake had a really good flavor. There were male and female staff members, and both of them provided excellent service, making it easy to see why customers keep coming back. I imagine they have a lot of regular customers who have been coming for years, as well as new customers. As for me, I've been a regular customer since I was a child.

There is a takeout and eat-in option. I used the takeout service. The restaurant has a bright and nice atmosphere. You can see them preparing the food in the back. They also have a point card system.

I walked a little from JR Sakawasen Kumatori Station. There wasn't much around Kumatori Station, but as I walked a bit, I came across a stylish cake shop and couldn't resist going in. The combination of cake and coffee was excellent. It was delicious.

I have visited the store a few times for dining in and takeout. The cakes are big and loaded with fruits, it's delicious. Especially the cake with lots of melon on top is amazing. The shiny, round melon pieces are piled high and really lift your spirits.

Nao-chan and Oba-chan gave me delicious cake and Valentine's chocolate! The strawberry cake was so good!

It's been so long since I last visited Hans! They have a cafe where you can enjoy cakes. There were so many cake options that I had a hard time deciding! But since it's been a while, I went for the classic choice, a chocolate cake. It was not too sweet and simply delicious! Next time, I'll also buy some cakes to take home.

I recently visited this popular shop called Hans to pick up some souvenirs. They had a variety of strawberry cakes available, each served in cute containers that can be reused as small organizers. Although not shown in the photo, I personally recommend the cakes made with bitter chocolate and the seasonal fruit tarts, which are always delicious. While I usually buy cakes to take home, you can also enjoy them in the shop along with some tasty coffee.

This is a shop my husband took me to. This shop feels a little different. The parking lot is big and the outside of the shop is nice. There are many types of cakes and pastries, and they make cute gifts. But the best part is the cafe! It's a shop that women definitely want to visit. The cakes are delicious, and the coffee is also good. I had the fruit shortcake, and my husband had the mango mousse. Both were ¥480, but they were generous portions and reasonably priced. My husband seems to really like the mango mousse. I wonder where he got the information from~
