I came back again. Indonesian cuisine. Today, I decided on the curry that I was undecided about last time. It's a chicken soup curry with the fragrance of kaffir lime and lemongrass. Turmeric and ginger are used in their raw form. It is said to have similarities with Thai green curry. The use of candle nuts (kemiri) is a distinctive feature. However, the nuts don't have a particularly strong flavor. The curry is very mild in taste. After the meal, I had a red bean bar with green tea base provided by the restaurant. I also had turtle soup last time. In any case, it was a delicious lunch.

Today's lunch was decided at the first Indonesian restaurant in Itoshima. It was actually my third attempt to visit. The first time, I was mistaken for an old man who came to buy corn nearby. The second time, it was full. By the way, I was referred to as "the corn guy from that time." And today, on my third attempt, I finally made it. So, to avoid being apologized to, I'll leave it at that. I ordered the set that has the restaurant's name on it - the Bali Bali Set, which allows you to enjoy both Nasi Goreng and Rendang in one dish. It includes fried egg, Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice), mini Rendang (a dish made by simmering diced beef in a paste of ground herbs and spices), rice, flower senbei, nut senbei, pickles, and sambal (Indonesian chili sauce). It was a satisfying meal in terms of taste and portion. However, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the dessert that the table next to me was enjoying - the Bali-style shaved ice with jackfruit and jelly that smells like flowers. It had various ingredients and was delicious.
