The other day on Sunday, I went to Fukuoka Airport for a morning practice of taking pictures of airplanes. After taking some photos, I was feeling hungry so I decided to have breakfast curry inside the terminal. Normally, I often go to "YOSHIMI," but it was a bit crowded that day. So, this time I went to "HAKATA Western Food Restaurant ROYAL." This restaurant follows the legacy of the Royal Coffee Shop in Domestic Terminal 1 and the Royal Cafeteria in Domestic Terminal 2. The Royal Group originated from Fukuoka Airport, so this new store "HAKATA Western Food Restaurant ROYAL" offers Western-style meals in set meals using various livestock products from Kyushu. I had visited this place before, so it had been 6 years since my last visit. Until 10 a.m., they have a Morning Time with a special menu, and one of the options is curry, such as the "Morning Beef Jawa Curry" (1,188 yen including tax). It is the familiar Beef Jawa Curry from Royal Host, with slowly sautéed onions and spices and herbs that are the tradition of the Royal Group. The version served at "HAKATA Western Food Restaurant ROYAL" includes a sunny-side-up egg. I ordered the Morning Beef Jawa Curry and a set drink of iced coffee. The curry was served with the roux in a gravy boat, and you pour it over the rice yourself. The Beef Jawa Curry was rich in flavor, with the beef well stewed and the unique blend of onion sweetness and spices. It had a nice aroma of spices, living up to its Jawa Curry name. I poured the rest of the roux over the rice and enjoyed it along with the runny egg yolk. The Fukusen pickles served on the side added a slight flavor change. From the counter seats, you could see the flow of people in the Domestic Terminal. It was nice to enjoy a leisurely breakfast curry while watching the hustle and bustle of the terminal.

On the 3rd floor of Fukuoka Airport, there is a restaurant that opens the earliest, but for some reason, I didn't feel like visiting it. After seeing off my favorite person the night before, I couldn't sleep much due to the excitement and welcomed the morning. I confirmed that my reserved flight had departed from Haneda before coming to the airport. Thinking that I wouldn't be coming to Hakata for a while, I decided to have breakfast at this unvisited restaurant. I was seated at a counter seat and ordered the "Scrambled Egg Set: 1,298 yen" with iced coffee. It was served in about 6 minutes. My impression is that it was "too expensive even for an airport" and "it didn't taste as good as I expected". If it was a family restaurant in town, I think I could have had it for half the price. As a side note, my flight was 20 minutes late but flew safely, however, all flights to Haneda in the afternoon were canceled.

My wife and son were heading back to my hometown, so I dropped them off at Fukuoka Airport. Since it was lunchtime, we decided to look around the restaurants inside the airport. We found a menu that seemed suitable for my 3-year-old son, so we decided to eat there. Among the various options, we ordered the Jawa Beef Curry (1,188 yen). The taste was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The portion size was adequate for me, but it might be a bit small for those with a big appetite. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and pleasant, making it a great place for families to relax. Thanks to the family-friendly restaurants at the airport, there was a wide range of menu options catering to both children and elderly customers, which was very convenient for families with kids. Thank you for the delicious Jawa Beef Curry.

Airports are places where you arrive about 1.5 hours before your flight, right? When I travel or go on a business trip, my sense of money tends to go out the window, and this happens to me as soon as I arrive at the airport. LOL On this day, I had an early morning business trip, so I woke up early with the motivation to have breakfast at the airport, something I don't usually do! I often go to Royal, which is located right above the security checkpoint, so I can relax until the last minute. However, the scrambled egg set is a bit pricey at around 1100 yen. It comes with a drink, which is nice. The convenience and cleanliness are top-notch, and I understand that airports are like that, so I will continue to use their services in the future.

We visited with 3 people. The menu had a good variety of options. They had set meals for those who want a full meal. There were plenty of meat dishes available. We didn't order drinks, but they were attentive in refilling our water. Thank you for the meal!

This is a restaurant affiliated with the Royal Host chain that serves Western-style meals on trays. It is said that the founder, Masakazu Egashira, who originated from Fukuoka (if I remember correctly), focused on in-flight meals. I vividly remember the battle between Skylark and Royal Host that I read about in Jyozan Siro's "Hunger of the Dining King". It's a reliable Western-style restaurant for evaluating dishes. However, I was particularly impressed by the movements of the waitresses (staff) in the dining area. Thank you for the meal today!

I arrived at Fukuoka Airport for my first visit on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:15. I'm always filled with excitement on the first day of my trip home. Since I had time until my 14:25 flight, I decided to try a restaurant I hadn't been to at the airport. Today, I wanted to eat meat! I had decided this since morning, so I ordered Angus sirloin steak salad (1,848 yen), extra rice (330 yen), and Suntory All-Free beer (473 yen), totaling 2,651 yen. The sirloin steak was delicious as usual. What really impressed me was the salad. I don't know what it was, but it was a salad with only the green parts that seemed to be the flower part of broccoli, and it had a really satisfying crunch. If anyone knows what this is, please let me know. This salad was unexpectedly satisfying and delicious!

This is a convenient place where you can have a casual drink and also enjoy tea. It's great that they also allow you to charge your phone. The beer set comes with choices like fried chicken, buttered potatoes, and grilled chicken liver, making it a tough decision. We ended up choosing the classic fried chicken. My companion later added wine and onion gratin soup. I couldn't help but notice that the amount of cheese seemed to have decreased, but considering the rising prices, it's understandable. It was a nice little break.

A small plate of omurice and Caesar salad. The omurice at Royal Host is always delicious no matter where or when you eat it. Maybe because it takes time to make? It took 20 minutes from ordering to arrival. Thank you for the delicious meal today.

I decided to have breakfast at Fukuoka Airport and came here. I was grateful because there weren't many shops open in the morning. The French toast that arrived was surprisingly voluminous and delicious. When I thought the middle part was vanilla ice cream and it turned out to be butter, it was shocking, but the French toast with plenty of butter was very tasty. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the airport with an empty stomach! It was my first time boarding from Fukuoka Airport. Usually, when I come to see someone off, I eat ramen on the tarmac. This time, however, we all decided to have Western food. Although it was a bit pricey in the 1,000 yen range, the BLT hot sandwich I ordered was not only generous in portion but also delicious! The scrambled egg set was also substantial. I'm glad I didn't go to the ramen tarmac alone this time! I was able to spend a leisurely time before my departure!

I arrived at Fukuoka Airport early, so I had quite a bit of time. However, all the Fukuoka food shops were full! In fact, there were lines. I wanted to relax, so I searched for a cozy place and found this one. Judging by the name, it seemed like a place where I could relax like in a family restaurant, and I was right! They had a small drinking set for about 1000 yen, where you could choose a beer and one appetizer. Plus, they served edamame. I chose fried chicken and potatoes. I leisurely enjoyed my beer, had another one, and also ordered a clubhouse sandwich. It was a nice way to end my trip. Thank you for the meal.

On the 3rd floor of Fukuoka Airport, there is a Western-style restaurant in the Royal chain (known for Royal Host). It used to open at 6:30 a.m., so I arrived around 6:40 a.m., but they had changed the opening time to 7:00 a.m. However, the staff kindly let me in early while I waited outside. Thank you very much. The morning menu was served in 5-6 minutes, faster than before. My husband ordered the Jawa Curry (1,133 yen tax included) with an iced coffee (297 yen tax included). The Jawa Curry at Royal is famous and delicious, with just the right amount of spiciness that my husband enjoyed. The rice was glossy, and it came with a fried egg and condiments. I ordered the Scrambled Egg Set (with a drink: 1,188 yen tax included), totaling 2,618 yen with my husband (tax included, card payment available). It was more filling than I expected, and my husband, who realized it was too much for me, eagerly helped me eat. We had bacon, sausage, and salad, and the bacon was cooked just right. The bread was served warm, with a good texture and taste. The scrambled eggs were plentiful. I added an iced coffee (297 yen) and chose orange juice as the set drink. The portion was generous, and now you can have the Jawa Curry for breakfast, so the menu has improved. I was full after this meal. The security check was crowded afterwards, but the JAL flight to Haneda (J Class) had only about 20 passengers, so it was empty. I watched a silly movie called "Lost City" with a star-studded cast and before I knew it, we had arrived at Haneda. ♪

Before heading to Nagoya for some plans, I stopped by HAKATA YOSHOKUYA ROYAL for a meal. I usually go to Ramen Kusouji, but this time I had some extra time, so I leisurely enjoyed their delicious cutlet. It was freshly fried and crispy, absolutely delicious. It paired perfectly with the beer I was quietly sipping on. They have a wide variety of menu items that caught my interest. I will definitely be going back for more.

A long-established family restaurant based in Fukuoka, with various chain locations offering traditional Japanese meal sets. This particular location is right above the departure floor at Fukuoka Airport. I stopped by for an early lunch while seeing someone off. The front of the restaurant is lively with samples on display. Inside, there are mainly table seats with a glass counter, creating a calm atmosphere. Since I was dining alone, I was seated at the glass counter with outlets available on the table, fitting for an airport restaurant. I arrived at 11:00 am, and the restaurant was about half full. The menu consists of typical Western-style dishes that most Japanese people are familiar with. I ordered the Chicken Nanban meal set (1,628 yen). The dishes were served together on one tray. The chicken was a large piece of thigh meat, tender and juicy, generously coated in sweet vinegar. The salad dressing and tartar sauce were original and delicious. The rice and miso soup were also well-balanced and not just standard fare, showing attention to detail in the meal set. This restaurant is convenient for solo diners, groups, or families.

This is Fukuoka Airport. Two people who were a little hungry opted for the morning set at the "Yoshokuya" restaurant, as most other shops were closed due to the early hour. One of them enjoyed eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausages while the other person started the day with a drink. Everything was delicious. Now, off we go!

The BLT sandwich for breakfast has a delicious crispy hot sandwich texture. The mustard is strong and gives it an adult flavor. The French fries are lightly salted, but just right when eaten with ketchup. When asked, they brought salt to the table. The French toast is made using a packet mix, with a nice crunchy texture on the outside. The thick sausage was also delicious.

I went to Hakata Yousenya Royal on the 3rd floor of Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal for breakfast with a friend on a Saturday morning around 7 am. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, this was the only restaurant open at that time in the Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal. The restaurant was bright, clean, and had a nice view of the boarding procedures below through large windows. Classical music played in the background, creating an elegant atmosphere. We ordered the Morning Java Curry for 1188 yen tax included and the Scrambled Egg Set for 1188 yen tax included. The Java Curry was delicious, with a rich and flavorful sauce that complemented the sweetness of the onions. The salad was fresh and the portion was generous. The Scrambled Egg Set came with a drink, and I chose orange juice which was refreshing. The set included a large toast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli, making it a visually appealing and satisfying meal. I highly recommend Hakata Yousenya Royal for a high-quality and elegant breakfast experience. Check out my blog for more details: [link to blog post]

The Royal Western-style restaurant on the 3rd floor opens at 9:00 am, while Hayari Udon opens earlier. I wanted to eat the cheese hot sandwich, so I ordered it. There is nothing particularly special about it, but I would say it's a pass. One thing you can always count on at Royal is their curry menu.

The other day, I had the opportunity to join a meal event in Tokyo at the last minute. It's my fourth time flying and I'm a bit scared. I don't like flying alone. Anyway, I hurried to have breakfast. The staff here is cute. I was thinking about what I wanted to eat, and it was brought to me right away. It's the Royal Java curry that the young me used to admire. I remember going all the way to Meikari Parking on a motorcycle in the middle of the night just to eat this. I wanted to eat it so much back then, I even went with friends. Back in those days, I didn't know that this place and Royal Host were the same. The Royal Java Curry after a long time was very rich and delicious. Thank you for the meal! A sudden rain in the evening is not called a morning erection.

It was great to be able to eat curry and drink beer early in the day. I hope to return to happier days soon. The curry here is quite rich and delicious. The beer is also a proper draft beer. You can drink in the morning. Royal feels like a family restaurant, but it's not, right? It has a chic Western-style restaurant vibe.
