I think it was the third place we visited that day (^^;) We had appetizers like iburi gakko, smoked tamago, and edamame, along with two glasses of Guinness. Despite being a bar, the food was well-prepared and delicious! If I'm hungry next time, I might want to try their meals like basashi and pork dishes. I heard that their scotch and basashi are highly recommended. The quality of the appetizers that come out quickly sets high expectations! The only downside is that it's hard to tell if it's more focused on drinks (bar) or meals (basashi/pork dishes), making it a bit difficult to decide whether to enter or not (￣◇￣;)

Visited with two people on a regular night. A lot of meat dishes followed by more meat! Well, it's a bar after all (^^; On this day, we started with two craft beers and then tried the recommended vodka. We had a starter, a platter of horse sashimi, and liver pate with baguette. The horse sashimi was sweet and fatty, and the liver pate was delicious♪♪ The Vietnamese vodka, Hanoi, that we tried for the first time was very easy to drink (^^). The photos of the beer didn't turn out well, they're a bit blurry (^^;

On a holiday, visited this dining bar for the first time with another person. Located just west of Kyobashi Station in the Katamachi zone, next to Irorian Mitsuba, this place is a hidden gem. The owner used to run the izakaya Tonma and Torisho at a crossroad slightly north of Higashinoda before. When you enter after passing Mitsuba, you'll find a quiet bar with an L-shaped counter and a few table seats. Since we had already had yakitori at our first stop, we decided to go light this day with the complimentary smoked edamame, Ezo deer thigh sashimi for 800 yen, and homemade ham from Yoshiju pork for 750 yen. The Ezo deer meat was tender and delicious, with no gamey taste at all. The pork ham had a nice sweetness from the fat. There are plenty of other dishes to try, so next time I want to try the horse meat and various items, including the karaage from the former karaage shop. For drinks, we had the Nest Beer Yuzu Lager from Hitachino Nest Beer for 700 yen and Sapporo Black Label draft for 500 yen. Unfortunately, the photos didn't turn out well, so they were scrapped.

Counter-only restaurant, horse sashimi is the best.
