I wanted to eat omurice, so I requested to be taken to this restaurant. It's a small place inside a building, but it's popular with customers coming one after another. There were also some foreigners, probably due to the location. When I visited after 12 o'clock, there was already one group waiting... I spoke to the staff and waited outside in the hallway. Luckily, the waiting time wasn't too long and I was called into the restaurant. There are only 6 counter seats, so it's better to visit with one or two people rather than a large group. I ordered the following:
- Naniwa Omurice (S size)
It was my first time, so I ordered the most famous item without any additional toppings. The normal rice portion was 200g, so for women, S size (150g) might be better. I like omurice, but I also like nikujaga... this is surely going to be good (high expectations). As soon as I ordered, a salad and hot soup were served. They let you choose from 3 types of dressings, so you can put on as much as you like... (‘ч’)
The owner is alone, so the omurice takes a bit of time, but it's fun to watch him make it✨️ Finally, the main dish arrived. Let's dig in. Oh, wow... delicious! ☺️♥️ The egg is fluffy and goes perfectly with the nikujaga! My companion ordered with cheese and spinach topping, so I took a bite... it was also amazing ♥️ The cheese is quite rich. I really want to go back and eat this again, even if I have to line up. Please make sure to visit with plenty of time!

I ordered the Osaka-style omelette rice for 2,200 yen, thinking it was 1,800 yen. It turned out to be more expensive! But I really love beef stew, so I splurged and ordered the Osaka-style omelette rice. The ketchup rice was a bit sticky, and the demi-glace sauce had a nice balance of acidity and richness, a classic delicious taste that everyone would enjoy. The beef stew was tender and delicious, and it paired perfectly with the demi-glace sauce. It tasted just as I had imagined, and I was satisfied with it. All the customers were tourists, and the restaurant only had 6 seats, so the turnover rate is slow. You might have to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour! The meal comes with a salad with a choice of 3 dressings and a salty consomme soup. I think once is enough. I would go again if it were cheaper, but it's a bit too expensive. I ordered the small size, so it was 1,600 yen, but I got a discount to 1,500 yen for posting on social media. Although it says on Tabelog that they accept cards, they only take cash, so be careful! Also, even though it says they open at 10 am, they are more likely to open at 12 pm. Don't forget to get a numbered ticket before lining up! There's a QR code on it, so you can shop around while waiting for your turn. The owner looks a bit intimidating at first, but he's actually a kind and friendly person once you start talking to him! He slightly resembles Seiichi Ozawa (sorry if that's not accurate).

I had the famous Omurice with thick sauce at Wakahana. It's a very popular restaurant and I was surprised by the long line, but the thick sauce was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend it! The thick sauce had a very unique texture. The Omurice was also very tasty. I highly recommend it!

In a corner on the first floor of a mixed-use building, a famous restaurant opens at 12 o'clock. Even though I lined up at 11:45 before opening, there were already a few people in line. The most famous dish is the Naniwa Omelette Rice, which is cooked with doteni. However, it is priced on the higher side. The taste has a slight acidity and a rich flavor that stands out when mixed with the omelette rice. Adding balsamic vinegar halfway through for a flavor change is recommended. If only the price was a bit more affordable, I think it would be even better. However, being a popular restaurant, it is unlikely that the prices will decrease.

I arrived around 3:30 PM on a Sunday and there were 2 groups ahead of me. The wait was only foreign tourists. Luckily, I made it in time before they sold out. I was surprised by the price of 2200 yen for the Naniwa omurice that my friend recommended. The fluffy omurice topped with plenty of demi-glace and a generous serving of doteni looked amazing. The perfect ketchup rice, fluffy egg, rich demi-glace, and flavorful doteni all combined to create an unforgettable taste experience. Even the onion soup that came with it was delicious, I wanted to take it home in a water bottle. It must have been made with good quality onions. However, the salad that also came with it was disappointingly dry, I felt it could have been left out. I will definitely come back to eat here when I visit Osaka again.

It's delicious, but the price is too high. 2500 yen for an omelette rice?! The taste is average, and the simmered sauce is unique but not very well-known. It was crowded with wealthy foreigners, so I guess that's why. It's delicious, yes, but it's not worth 2500 yen for lunch.

I really wanted to eat omurice. I was torn between Meijiken and Hokkyokusei, but I decided to go to Naniwa for the first time. It was around 14:00 for lunch, so the all-day menu was convenient. When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised because there were probably only six seats! The owner (at least when I visited) was alone and did everything from scratch, so it makes sense that there are so few seats. Other than us, both other groups were foreigners of Asian descent! The meat was not beef tendon, but it had a good chewy texture! I liked it♡♡ The egg and sauce on top, along with the flavorful meat, made my friend who added cheese topping feel overwhelmed and a bit spicy later on. Even with a small size of rice, I think you will get quite full! (Without drinks, it was 5000 yen for two people with toppings, is that high? lol) Even if you feel like it's too much, I'm sure you'll want to eat it again when you least expect it. Thank you for the meal♩

The "Namiha Omurice" is delicious with creamy eggs, slightly tangy ketchup rice, and sweet doteni stew. You can easily finish it all in one go. It might be worth trying different toppings. Just be aware that there can be a wait depending on the time of day.

Formerly, this restaurant placed 4th in a national competition called Kagome Omurice Stadium, showcasing its strong skills. It is an omurice specialty restaurant located deep inside a mixed-use building on the first floor, with a constant flow of customers. For lunch, I ordered the famous Naniwa Omurice in a small size (150g of rice). It is an omurice topped with demiglace sauce and doten (simmered pork and vegetables). The taste was pretty good. I added some pickled ginger and balsamic vinegar from the condiments on the table, which enhanced the flavor even more! The price may seem a bit high, but perhaps it's due to the cost of ingredients. It's understandable in this day and age.

The opening hours may vary by day, so it's important to check! On this day, they opened at 12:00! I entered almost right after they opened. I ordered the creamy omurice for 1400 yen, added rich cheese for 400 yen, and a hamburger topping for 600 yen. It was served with salad and soup in about 10 minutes! However, since the owner runs the place alone, it may take longer during busy times. There are only 6 counter seats, so it was full within 20 minutes of opening! The omurice was delicious, and the hamburger was also good since they cook it after taking the order. When I left after about 30 minutes, there were about 10 people waiting outside (all women). The customers on this day were 90% women, with only one other man besides me. The changing opening hours may be a downside, but the taste is definitely worth it.

It came up on Instagram and I thought "What's this?!" so I decided to go right away. The atmosphere was nice with various food and drink shops around. Inside, there were only a few counter seats and self-service water. It had a nostalgic Osaka vibe. The most popular dish was the Cheese Omelette. I love cheese and omelette, so it was a blissful time. Next time, I want to try the Mega Size (400g of rice) with toppings like shrimp fry and pork cutlet!

Wednesday 12:05. The restaurant was full inside with no waiting outside. The only place in the building with a long line. On this day, there were surprisingly many Korean and Chinese customers. We entered the restaurant at 12:30.
- Nani Om Cheese ¥2200
Even though they were busy cooking, they were also cleaning up, which may have slowed down the service a bit. They provided Chinese or English menus for Chinese customers, which was impressive. The Ketchup rice with gooey egg, dote stew, and cheese on top was a sinful calorie bomb. It was well-balanced and delicious, but it felt a bit heavy. Maybe it would be better without either the cheese or the dote stew, to give it a rich omurice feel!

I went to the rumored best omurice restaurant in Kansai. The fluffy omelette, demi-glace sauce, and tenderly cooked meat were irresistible. You can choose the type, toppings, and size of the omurice. I got the medium size and it was very filling. If you come to Osaka, be sure to check it out! Thank you for reading!

✏️ "repo" has just opened and there is already a long line forming! That's how popular and delicious it is ✨ The interior of the restaurant has a calming atmosphere with counter seats. Here is the menu, including takeout options: ☑︎ Naniwa Omurice - 1800 yen. This time, I tried the default Naniwa Omurice ✨ There are various toppings available, so next time I want to add cheese! The staff cooks it right in front of you, and it comes with salad and soup. The taste is amazing..! Super delicious!! The fluffy egg contains delicious ketchup rice, surrounded by a sweet demiglaze sauce. The tender meat is also irresistible! Definitely stop by and try it out. Thank you for the meal! ⚪︎

I visited during lunchtime on a holiday. The Omurice was so fluffy and delicious, and it came with an unexpected Doteni (a local Osaka dish)! The casual atmosphere with only counter seats was nice. I waited about 20 minutes before getting in. The combination of Doteni and demi-glace sauce was irresistible. There are plenty of toppings, so you can enjoy changing the flavors even when dining alone. It seems to be quite popular, with a line forming right after opening, so I recommend going early. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and try it out.
Ordered: Nani Omurice
Overall, I hope this was helpful. If you found it useful, I would appreciate a like and a follow. I will continue to share more local information, so thank you for your support.

I tried a fluffy and creamy omurice topped with Osaka's famous Doteni and demiglace sauce - it was irresistible! I had just eaten pancakes before coming here, but this dish was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The meat was tasty, the rice with ketchup was great, and the egg was fluffy and creamy. I really want to try their Omu Cheese next time! It's a popular restaurant with long lines, so it's best to go early. Thank you for reading the reviews. I hope they inspire you to enjoy some delicious meals. Your likes and comments are very encouraging!

This post introduces a specialty omurice restaurant called "Naniwa Omurice" located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. The restaurant won 4th place in the national omurice competition. The menu includes various omurice dishes, and the popular dish is the Naniwa Omurice. The dish features omurice topped with a unique "dote-ni" (simmered beef). The combination of fluffy egg, melting cheese, and demiglace sauce on the rice is delicious. The dote-ni, made with rare Japanese beef, is tender and flavorful. Overall, the meal was enjoyable.

I am obsessed with omurice, so I went to a delicious omurice restaurant recommended by a friend. The restaurant was small and located inside a building. I ordered the beef stew curry, and it was seriously delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, and it was easy to eat. The restaurant seemed to be popular among celebrities, as there were many autographs on the walls. Definitely worth a visit!

I went to eat Naniwa Omurice at Naniwa Omurice. The menu offers only one item, Naniwa Omurice, with the option to choose from 10 different toppings: rich cheese, Awaji onion rings, fried chicken, shrimp fry, pork cutlet, mixed fry, hand-kneaded hamburger, beefsteak, Hollandaise, and scallop fry.

I was thinking of having lunch in the Shinsaibashi area, and I remembered this place - Naniwa Omurice. It's a counter-only restaurant specializing in omurice. Located at the back of Nippo Silver Building on the 1st floor, with a few other eateries nearby. They have chairs placed outside, so there might be a line. Their signature dish is the Naniwa Omurice, which is made with a sauce combining Osaka's famous Doteni and demi-glace. I love Doteni, so I was excited to try it. The Naniwa Omurice costs 1,800 yen. They start you off with a salad and soup, be careful as the soup is hot. The omurice is topped with fluffy egg and their homemade sauce, with plenty of beef tendon mixed in. The combination of demi-glace, ketchup rice, and beef tendon is surprisingly delicious. Even though the ingredients seem like an odd mix, they blend together well, creating a rich and flavorful dish. I finished it all in no time. As more customers started arriving, the chef efficiently prepared the dishes. By the time I left, there was already a line of about 10 people. Truly a popular spot! It was a delightful meal. Naniwa Omurice - 06-6245-7206, 3-11-27 Minamisenba, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Nippo Silver Building 1F.

I finally visited Minami Osaka Omurice that I've been wanting to try for a while. I ordered the Nani Om Cheese. First, they brought soup and then served vegetables. You can choose from 3 types of dressings for the vegetables. The vegetables were surprisingly delicious. It's been a while since I've enjoyed vegetables this much. The Nani Om Cheese arrived. It's an omurice with ketchup rice topped with demiglace sauce and beef tendon simmered in sauce. You can taste the ketchup rice while also savoring the flavors of the demiglace sauce and beef tendon. Delicious! I thought the flavors might clash, but they surprisingly harmonized well! The beef tendon was a bit lacking in substance for my taste, but overall, it was a tasty omurice!
