The restaurant is located about a 4-5 minute walk southeast from Exit 6 of Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi Station. Inside, there are 8 counter seats and 2 tables for 4 people. We started with a glass of draft beer and some boiled horse tendon as a starter. We then enjoyed a platter of 5 different cuts of horse sashimi, accompanied by daikon radish, shiso leaf, myoga ginger, garlic, and fresh ginger. We dipped the sashimi in sweet soy sauce from Kyushu, savoring the meaty and fatty flavors. We also ordered a Black Nikka highball and continued with some fluffy sweet potato tempura and horse skewers (thigh and heart). The tempura was served with grated ginger, and the skewers were topped with green onions and eaten with mustard salt. Both dishes paired well with shochu. We look forward to returning for more horse meat dishes and drinks. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I revisited "Kishin," a horse meat specialty store in one corner of Shinsaibashi. When it comes to horse meat, people often think of it as watery and smelly, but the horse meat sourced from Honban Kumamoto is healthy and free of any unpleasant odors. The variety of horse sashimi available is extensive, and the shabu-shabu served with a secret broth, white leeks, and trefoil is still incredibly delicious. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty, so I forgot to take photos. There is a horse meat butcher in Minami. There are several horse meat restaurants in Osaka, but this one is relatively new. The food comes out very slowly, so be aware of that. If you're having a girls' night out, you can chat while waiting for the food, so that's nice. Maybe it's best to use it like a cafe. It's a horse meat cafe. I understand that grilled dishes and fried dishes take time, but even potato salad and smoked tongue (cold dish) took forever to come out (laughs). It's ridiculously slow, to the point where it's like, why is it so slow? Maybe not many people order individual items? It might be faster if you order a hot pot. I actually wanted to order a dessert, but I had another plan afterwards so I had to leave. The food was delicious, so I'm a bit disappointed to leave with just the photos we took in the two hours we were there. It's too little for me! Breakfast!

I thought it had closed due to corona, but on Tabelog it was listed as pending... and then I noticed a new page had been created! I made a reservation right away and enjoyed some horse meat sashimi and salad. They were delicious as always. And then, my favorite, shabu-shabu. The crispiness of the watercress and white leek, and the mild horse meat, all in a perfect broth. The customer I went with loves sake, so of course we drank plenty of it. It was amazing... I will definitely go back again.
