Located near JR Namba Station, this authentic Indian curry restaurant is run by an Indian chef. I have been to this restaurant several times and I particularly enjoy their fluffy cheese naan and flavorful curries that suit the Japanese palate. This time, I ordered the Asiana Set for 1800 yen. The set includes pork curry, vegetable curry, mutton and chicken, salad, naan, and gapao rice, offering a generous portion. The pork curry has a mild taste with tender meat, while the vegetable curry is surprisingly rich in flavor with plenty of vegetables, making it a healthy choice. Both curries were delicious. The gapao rice, with green peas, carrots, corn, and a hint of spice, was also tasty. The service was excellent, and the consistent quality of the food makes this restaurant highly recommended.

I suddenly felt like eating something spicy, so I decided to have the spinach curry at Asiana, which I haven't had in a long time! I went for the 5x spicy level this time, which is pretty spicy but manageable for me. I wonder how spicy the 15x level is, maybe I'll try it next time! The portion of naan was huge, I couldn't finish it all. I might try the 15x spicy level next time if I train my taste buds more. Thank you for your follow, likes, and comments. I stopped by while taking a walk. I love rice, so I even had it at an Indian restaurant, haha. The daily special was a vegetable dish with a light curry that was easy to eat. The rice seemed to be a specific type or cooked a certain way, with less moisture, which paired perfectly with the light curry. Also, the lassi was light and just to my liking.

I had to go to Osaka for work on this day. Since I had a meeting in the evening, I decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand at this Indian restaurant. I really wanted to try the spicy curry since I was in Osaka, but couldn't find any of those types of restaurants near Namba. I arrived at the restaurant around 5:30 pm on a weekday, and there was only one other customer there. The exterior of the restaurant seemed a bit run-down, but the interior was bright and clean. They had a system where you could scan a QR code to view the menu on your smartphone and place your order, which was a change for an old-fashioned Indian restaurant like this one. I ordered the "Roti Thali" which came with roti, one curry dish, kebabs, salad, and yogurt for 1,380 yen including tax, and I added a mini drink for an extra 280 yen. There were 11 options for curry, but I chose my favorite, mutton curry. When ordering set meals at these types of Indian restaurants, it's easy to end up consuming too many carbs with naan or Japanese rice, so having roti was a nice touch. The mutton curry was pretty standard, but it was just what I needed for a light meal before my meeting. The restaurant is located in a direction that I don't usually go in Namba, but it seems like a convenient place to visit.

I want to improve my skills as a photographer, so I'm going on a trip. Don't look for me! (laughs) By the way, on the way back from yesterday's meetup, I thought I was on a diet and walked home, but ended up eating curry (^◇^;) It's been a long time since I've been to Asiana, the staff there are kind and polite. The taste is just okay, I guess (^◇^;) Thank you for the meal. #Goingonatrip #Dontlookforme #iPhonephotographer

After a long time, I had the Ashiyana Lunch (1,680 yen) which included Special Pork Curry, Special Vegetable Curry Naan (large), Pilau Rice, Mutton Seekh Kebab, Tandoori Chicken, Salad, and a small drink. As expected, it was authentic and delicious.

I wasn't sure how spicy it would be, so I went with the mildest option and it was perfect! My companion ordered level 2 spiciness and ended up sweating haha. The naan was chewy and the curry was delicious without any strange flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming for solo diners, and I definitely want to go back.

In January of the 5th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:00-16:00), I had the My Lunch set for 1050 yen. It included spicy shrimp curry, large naan, salad, tandoori chicken, and mini lassi. You can choose the spiciness level for free up to 10 times, with 3 times being spicy, 4 times being very spicy, and 5 times being extremely spicy. I chose 3 times this time, but for those who like spicy food, a bit spicier might be better.

I had known about this restaurant for a while but finally visited it for the first time. When I asked at the register, I was told that they have been open for about 20 years. I regret not going earlier. Firstly, the staff at this restaurant are very friendly. That alone makes the customer feel good. On this day, I ordered a holiday lunch and a highball. The lunch came with naan and a rice dish similar to pilaf, but I chose to have just the naan and upgraded it to cheese naan. The curry can be ordered with spiciness levels ranging from 1 to 15, and I chose the 5th level (slightly spicy) to start. I felt like anything beyond the 10th level would be dangerously spicy. For those who enjoy spicy food, I recommend giving it a try. The cheese naan was delicious with a light saltiness and a drizzle of ghee (I think) on top. I ordered two curries, "spinach" and "shrimp and cashew nuts." The shrimp curry had a rich shrimp flavor even in the sauce and was especially delicious. Next time I come to Namba, I will make sure to visit this place again.

It's an Indian restaurant just a 2-minute walk from my home. I've been going there about 3-4 times a year for the past 18 years. Personally, I'm not a fan of Indian curry (laughs), so I always end with biryani. I usually start with an iced chai or lassi, order a chicken salad, then get pork tikka and chicken tikka. The prices are cheap, but the Indian cooking techniques never fail to impress me. Even if the ingredients aren't top-notch, the food is still delicious (laughs). My favorite thing here is the mint sauce, it's amazing. I use so much of it that I often run out of the container. The biryani here is made with a choice of Indian rice, and when I eat it, I feel like this is the real deal. It's always crowded during lunchtime, but dinner time is quieter, so I always go then.

I have the impression that the restaurant is well-maintained with a clean interior and good hygiene. I had the daily curry lunch set, but the portion was too small. The eggplant and taro curry lacked flavor, with only one small fried eggplant and two frozen taro pieces. Maybe I just made the wrong choice. The naan was delicious as usual.

I visited "Ashiyana" in Namba. I had the lunch set (780 yen including tax) with a 50 yen discount using a coupon from Tabelog. I chose the chicken curry. It tasted like a curry you would make at home. The naan was crispy and delicious. The lassi was rich even though it was a mini size. Thank you for the meal.

I often go to the Namba area, so I had always wanted to visit this restaurant, but never had the chance until now when my wife suggested it. The exterior of the restaurant looks old, but the interior is clean and has a refreshing atmosphere. For lunch, I ordered the chicken curry set with a large portion and naan. I asked for the curry to be made three times spicier. The naan looked big, but it was surprisingly light and fluffy. The curry was also light and delicious.

A curry restaurant near the station. They have a variety of curry options. The service lunch is a great deal, comes with salad and a drink! And you can choose your favorite curry from 4 different options! You can adjust the spiciness for free, up to level 5, which is nice. I ordered the chicken curry with chickpeas, spiciness level 2. The naan bread is huge! It's a size that women might not be able to finish. The curry is tender with chunks of chicken and the sweetness of chickpeas, making it very appetizing. I finished it in no time! For the drink, I ordered hot chai. It's served without sugar, so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. - You can choose the spiciness level - Chai is served without sugar - The naan is huge! - Various menu options

I went to "Ashiyana" near Namba Station. I had the Chicken Butter Masala Curry Nan Set for 1350 yen, a small Plate Nan for 250 yen, a small Tandoori Chicken for 290 yen, and a bottle of beer for 550 yen x 2. The flavors were average, and the portion was a bit small, so I ended up getting a refill of the Plate Nan. Considering this, the cost performance doesn't seem great. I think it would be better to go for the Everest series instead.

Today I had errands in Namba, so I used it for lunch again. They are taking measures against COVID-19, but two elderly customers at the table in front of me were talking loudly. The heating was on, but the door at the entrance was left open. It's a shame that they are not following the COVID-19 measures properly. For lunch, I had spinach curry with naan (large), chicken tikka, salad, and finished with an iced chai.

This is an Indian restaurant in Namba that I have been going to for a long time. They have thorough measures in place for COVID-19, such as checking body temperature, disinfecting tables, and providing spoons and forks in a basket for each person. The food is still delicious as always - the naan is crispy and chewy, and I ordered spinach curry, potato and chicken curry, rice, salad, and chicken tikka plate set. I ended the meal with an iced chai drink. This is my favorite Indian restaurant to visit.

Today, on my way to work in Nara, I stopped for lunch in Namba. I decided to try out "Ashiana," a place I had been curious about for a long time. Located near the intersection of Yotsubashi-suji and Midosuji, this restaurant stands out with its appearance. The spacious interior is run by Indian staff. The lunch menu is quite extensive. I ordered the "My Lunch" set which included spinach and chicken curry, tandoori chicken, salad, a large naan, and a drink. I chose the spicy curry and a lassi to drink. The curry had a vibrant green color from the spinach, which was very appetizing. It had chunks of chicken in it and was spicy but not overwhelmingly so, with a fresh aroma of spices. The combination of this curry with the naan made me feel like I was truly enjoying Indian cuisine. Finally, the lassi refreshed my palate and left me feeling satisfied both physically and mentally. It was a great lunch today.

Today, I had some work to do at JR Namba Station, which is a station nearby that I don't visit often. For lunch, I decided to try out a restaurant called "Ashiyana" located nearby. The exterior and interior of the restaurant had a typical Indian restaurant atmosphere, and I finally had the chance to visit after passing by it many times. I ordered the lunch menu item called "Service Lunch" for 780 yen (tax included), which includes a choice of chicken, pork, or vegetable dish with either naan or rice. I chose the chicken dish with naan. You can also choose to have both naan and rice for an additional 50 yen, but the portion sizes are slightly smaller. I asked for the spiciness level to be increased to 3 times the normal level. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't get a refill on the naan, but I enjoyed a mini drink after the meal, which was included. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by this restaurant on a whim while shopping. When I looked around the store, I was first impressed by the clean interior, toilet, and kitchen. There were many menu options to choose from, but I decided to order the Asiana Set. It cost 1800 yen excluding tax, which is a bit on the expensive side. The set includes two types of curry - pork curry and vegetable curry, as well as mutton and chicken, salad, naan, and gapao rice. The naan was quite large. I asked for the spiciness to be 1.5 times (between mild and medium), and it was not too spicy, which was reassuring. The curry was mild and the pork was tender, matching well with the sauce. The vegetable curry had a generous amount of vegetables and was slightly spicier. The mutton chicken was fresh and had a good flavor, although it was a bit dry. It was easy to eat without any unpleasant smell. Gapao rice is not something I often eat. It had finely chopped vegetables like green peas and carrots, and the rice itself had a good flavor, making it enjoyable even without the sauce. And the main dish, the naan, was like freshly baked focaccia with a strong wheat flavor. It was great with the curry sauce. The portion was quite large, and I was satisfied after finishing the meal. In terms of access, it is easy to reach by taking the stairs from JR Namba OCAT to the ground level, then walking straight on Yotsubashi-suji on the right-hand side. I recommend checking it out!
