【Ramen Restaurant Kamibuta】I visited here for the first time in a while, where you can get free extra noodles (kaedama) no matter how many bowls you order (*´꒳`*) I ordered the "Tokoton Tonkotsu" for 880 yen and added the "Aburi Chashu" for 220 yen. Since I was planning on getting extra noodles, I opted for a richly flavored dish. I could also choose the amount of toppings, so I went for extra sauce. The toppings included bean sprouts, green onions, and garlic on a separate plate, with extra sauce! The soup is a pork bone base with added seafood, and although it has a thick texture, it surprisingly goes down smoothly. The soy sauce in the broth has a nice kick, and you can taste the depth of flavor. Since I ordered extra sauce, the seasoning was on the salty side, but it worked well considering the extra noodles (*´꒳`*) I started with whole wheat noodles. The noodles were coarse with a focus on mixing well with the soup, slightly flat. In the end, this noodle paired the best with the soup, it was incredibly delicious ( ゚Д゚)ウマー Next, I tried thin straight noodles. For pork bone broth, thin noodles are a must, and these went down easily, quickly moving on to the next type of noodles (。-∀-)ニヒ♪ Lastly, I tried the Dragon Noodles, which were a unique choice. They were thick noodles with cuts in them, resembling Jiro-style noodles. Personally, I didn't think they paired well with the soup ( ˆ꒳ˆ; ) The chashu was made from pork shoulder loin with an aburi topping. The shoulder loin was thinly sliced but had a medium seasoning that I enjoyed (*´艸`) The aburi topping looked rich, but it had just the right amount of seasoning, allowing the flavor of the meat's fat to shine through. I wondered how many bowls I could eat, but I reached my limit at three bowls (lol) Next time, I'd like to try the noodles I didn't get to this time!
