The lunch set at Restaurant A is great in terms of cost-performance, portion size, and taste! The naan bread is large and you can have free refills, but you might get full before having seconds. The set comes with salad, soup, and a drink. You can choose between lassi and chai for the drink. You can also choose the level of spiciness. I like spicy food, so I chose the spicy option. It was totally fine for me! However, my friend found it too spicy even on the normal level.

On Sunday for lunch, my wife suggested that she wanted to eat curry made by a real Indian at a restaurant called Hiro, which used to be in Ashiya but has now moved to Esaka. We found Hiro Esaka on the internet and set off, entering the address into the navigation system. As we got closer to Esaka, I tried to call the restaurant to ask about parking, but then I saw on a different website that it was closed. Oh no, we were almost there. After calmly researching Hiro, we found out about the Nishinakajima location. We headed there through Esaka. It was located south of Shin-Osaka Station. The restaurant was semi-basement. When we entered, we saw that it was almost full with a group of women having a party. It was surprising. But seeing women coming here made us expect that the food would be delicious. We ordered the C set from the menu, which included a choice of curry, daily curry, tandoori chicken, naan, rice, salad, soup, and lassi. I chose keema curry, and my wife chose chicken butter curry. The staff asked us about the spiciness level, and we opted for normal. The daily curry seemed to be eggplant and potatoes. The curry was normal and not very spicy. It was indeed delicious. It went well with rice more than naan. We found a good restaurant.

A lunch set for 750 yen included spinach and potato curry (mild), tandoori chicken (not spicy), salad with sweet dressing, small rice with free refills of naan, and lassi. We visited for lunch before 12 pm and found it easy to get a table as it was not crowded.

This is a restaurant located about a 5-6 minute walk from Nishi-Nakajima Minamigata Station on the Osaka Municipal Subway Midosuji Line. I visited for lunch on a weekday. I ordered the B lunch set for 850 yen (tax included). It included a daily curry (chicken mushroom), keema curry (choice between chicken curry), naan, seekh kebab, rice, salad, soup, and iced coffee. The food arrived in about 5 minutes. The freshly baked naan was very large! The amount of the two curries was more than other places. You can choose the level of spiciness from 5 options, and I chose level 4. I couldn't finish the curry with just one naan, so I got a second one for free (they offer free naan refills). Despite choosing level 4 spiciness, it wasn't as spicy as expected, making it easy to eat. It was a lot of food for 850 yen. Thank you for the meal.

A small shop located on the first floor of a building, a 7-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. The surrounding area is an office district, and during weekdays, many office workers visit for lunch. Although it's a bit inconspicuous as it's slightly off the main street, most people working nearby are familiar with it. The lunch at this shop is very reasonable, with curry sets starting from the 700 yen range. They come with a large naan bread, making it a good deal. The B set includes two types of curry, one of which has a unique flavor combining Japanese and Indian curry. It's quite an interesting taste.

This Indian curry restaurant in Nishinakajima Minamigata offers great value for lunch. Located in a semi-basement on a wide street, we arrived just after 12 pm and had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. The staff seemed to be locals and were friendly, even suggesting sharing a table with others.
I ordered the B lunch set for 850 yen, which included two types of curry (one daily special and a choice of chicken or keema), along with a small seekh kebab. The best part was that you could have unlimited refills of naan bread. The curry was not too spicy and lacked a strong spice flavor, similar to Sadhana in the north of Shin-Osaka station. The chicken curry had a moderate amount of coconut and the chicken pieces were small with a lot of skin, but still flavorful.
The naan bread was thin and had a natural sweetness that I enjoyed. For drinks, you could choose between chai or lassi, with the lassi being sweet like Japanese yogurt. The salad consisted of shredded cabbage with an orange dressing, while the soup had a slightly off-putting animal smell.
Overall, the portion sizes were generous, and I ended up feeling full after the second serving of naan bread. It's a great option for a filling and affordable meal, especially recommended for office workers.

I had never visited the numerous curry and naan restaurants in Nishi-Nakajima, so I decided to give it a try! My favorite is the Cheese Naan Set for 950 yen, which includes chicken curry, daily curry, tandoori chicken salad, and onion soup. I like it spicy, so I ordered it with extra heat. While enjoying the salad and soup, the highlight arrived - the Cheese Naan! It was filled with gooey cheese and looked delicious. I dug in while it was still hot, and it was so tasty! The combination of the salty cheese and curry was exquisite. Cheese naan is definitely the best choice. The level of spiciness was just right, and even the rice on the side added to my satisfaction. It was a delightful meal!

Having lunch here just a few minutes' walk from Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station and Minamigata Station. The interior of the restaurant consists of only table seats. I ordered the B lunch set, with spicy chicken curry and a lassi drink. Let's dig in! First, we have soup and salad. The soup is slightly spicy and the salad is pretty standard. The main curry dishes come in larger containers than they appear. The naan bread is large and piping hot, and goes really well with the spicy curry. About halfway through my meal, the staff asked if I wanted a refill, which was a nice touch. Overall, the curry portions are generous and the naan is all-you-can-eat. It's a great value for the price, especially when you're really hungry.

Good cost performance, the portion size might be too much. I went there four times in between shifts at work.

The soup was delicious. Discovered a restaurant with tasty cheese naan. World peace. The second time I tried it, it was not as good as I had thought, but still delicious. The curry lacked spices.

An Indian curry restaurant in Nishi-Nakajima. It is located on the semi-basement floor of a building. I visited on a weekday night and there weren't many customers, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal. I was tempted by the all-you-can-eat menu for naan and chicken for 1500 yen, but I opted for the safe choice of the chicken curry set for 700 yen. The curry comes with salad and soup. You can choose the level of spiciness, but since it was my first visit to this curry restaurant, I went with the normal option. After a 10-minute wait, the curry arrived. I thought curry was just reheated, so the wait felt a bit long. The rice was the typical Japanese white rice, cooked slightly softer. The curry had a light flavor without a strong spice kick, making it easy to eat. It seemed like it was tailored for Japanese taste. The portion size was quite generous. The normal spiciness level was not spicy at all. Even for someone like me who can't handle spicy food well, ordering the spicy option would probably be fine. There were many other cost-effective menu options, such as all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat for 2500 yen. The all-you-can-eat naan menu was also reasonably priced. I would like to visit for lunch next time.

The ramen shop I wanted to go to was closed, so I wandered around and caught a spicy scent. I found an Indian curry restaurant and decided to try it. The restaurant had a typical Indian decor and the staff spoke Japanese fluently, providing polite service. I ordered the A lunch set, which came with all-you-can-eat naan. I asked for the curry to be spicy. First, I was served cabbage salad and soup, followed by a plate of curry with freshly baked naan. The naan was delicious, thin and crispy. The chicken curry had a home-cooked feel with a bit of thickness, and the spiciness was just right for me. The tandoori chicken was a bit dry, maybe because it was prepared in advance. I couldn't have more naan even though it looked tempting. Everyone around me was asking for more naan! Lastly, I had a hot chai tea which was delicious and warmed me up. Overall, it was a nice Indian curry restaurant experience. It was worth the 750 yen, more value for money than ramen (lol).

I had always been curious about this restaurant every time I passed by, but I never actually went in. The entrance being on B1F made it a bit hard to enter, and I tend to avoid shops on the 2nd floor or B1F. However, this time I gathered up the courage to go in. Inside, there was the usual Indian movie playing. A little further away, NHK News was on. Setting NHK aside, I enjoy the light sense of traveling that you get in these types of restaurants. I ordered the Seekh Kebab Curry Rice with a side of salad and lassi (I think it was free). The rice had 4 pieces of Seekh Kebab on top. It may feel wrong to order curry rice at an Indian restaurant, but I just wasn't in the mood for naan. When I tried it, both the curry and Seekh Kebab were not too strong in flavor and suited Japanese taste buds well. I would like to try it with naan next time. The curry was delicious.

It's a lunch on a festival day. I went to an Indian restaurant on the east side of Nishinakajima that looked deep. The interior of the restaurant is filled with an "Indian vibe" (laughs). I ordered the "B lunch/850 yen" with normal spiciness. It came with chicken curry, daily curry, naan, seekh kebab, rice, salad, soup, and a drink, quite a luxurious menu. And you can have unlimited refills of naan (laughs). The salad with potage and curry dressing seems to be an arrangement for Japanese taste. I wish I could buy this dressing somewhere, it's so good. The two types of curry have a deep and high-level flavor. Delicious! I couldn't have a refill of naan... I'm so full! The staff's service was super friendly, so I'm satisfied.
