This is "D.D.HOUSE", a commercial facility in Osaka Umeda. Despite being in a prime commercial area in Osaka, it always seems quiet and deserted, which is strange. Having lunch at B1F of "D.D.HOUSE" today. B1F is a floor like a food court. One corner of the floor is the hidden gem-like "Niku Bar Mechya AbuRuyan". Let's enter the restaurant. The interior is stylish and chic. YouTube videos are playing on a large monitor. The menu features fresh Hokkaido vegetables sourced directly from farmers and carefully selected meats. I ordered a lunch menu that caught my eye. While waiting quietly with a cup of jasmine tea (or maybe it's rooibos tea... hehe), the food is being prepared. After a while... Japanese beef Hitsu-mabushi bowl for 880 yen. The bowl comes with miso soup, a side dish (bean sprout namul), pickles, and nori arare. When the lid is lifted, the bowl is filled with plenty of meat, truly a feast of meat. The meat used is the inside thigh meat of Japanese beef cooked at low temperature, a cut commonly used for roast beef and steak. The shiny egg yolk in the middle looks delicious. The meat is tender and not too fatty, making it delicious and satisfying. The first bite is just amazing! The second bite involves crushing the egg yolk and adding nori and arare. Mixing the egg yolk with rice and meat creates a smooth texture, enhancing the flavor of the meat. The crispy texture of the arare is also enjoyable. The third bite involves pouring the broth. The broth is made from a base of oolong tea, with a good bonito flavor. The hot broth blends with the tender meat, creating an elegant and gentle deliciousness. The taste is so good that I couldn't help but eat eagerly. It's a different kind of deliciousness compared to eel hitsumabushi. And all this for just 880 yen! There's also a premium A5 black wagyu hitsumabushi bowl for 1,980 yen, and I can't help but wonder how exquisite it must be. If I win the lottery, I might go try it. Bon appétit. The taste was average. The table was almost left uncleared, but there seemed to be few staff members so it was understandable. I think it's better to put plenty of wasabi on the default condiments. I also wish there was a bit more dashi, nori, and overall quantity. I think the cost performance is good.

In the heart of Umeda, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy a lunch of black wagyu yukke bowl, called "AbuRu yan". Located in D.D. HOUSE, it is surprisingly not crowded despite being in the center of Umeda. The lunch menu includes a roast beef meat hitsumabushi bowl for the incredibly reasonable price of 880 yen. There are also special menu items for food fighters that require reservations, which are quite intriguing. The beef tuck that I tried had a strong minced meat texture, and the pickled daikon had a subtle presence, making the meat the star of the dish. The hitsumabushi at the end was light and refreshing, perfect for cleansing the palate after the raw beef yukke. Dining on black wagyu meat tuck in the middle of Umeda was a true treat. Today's lunch is at "AbuRuyan," a meat bar in Osaka Umeda. I had some errands to run in Osaka today. Originally, last week was supposed to be the end of my weekend in Umeda, but things changed. This restaurant is located in D.D. House, which is next to Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station. It's a bit strange that the building is not very popular, with many food establishments closed. However, I saw the dishes from this place on Instagram yesterday and got curious. I tried their meat hittsumabushi bowl roast beef lunch set for 880 yen. The lunch menu has a variety of options, including four rice bowl dishes and seven set meals. You can choose from small, regular, or large rice portions. I think the rice portion is free. The restaurant has a trendy cafe-like interior, catering more towards young people. They have a big screen playing YouTube videos. The main dish was impressive and the side dishes like potato salad were tasty, especially with the mustard mayonnaise. The miso soup was average, but the fried wheat gluten in it made it seem more elegant. The hittsumabushi bowl was delicious, especially when eaten with egg and broth. The broth is made from Taiwanese oolong tea, which was interesting. Overall, the meal was great for the price. The only downside was finding limited information about this restaurant online. We used it as a couple! It's a hidden gem at DD House and the food is delicious. The cost performance is good, and we enjoyed the A5 rank meat sushi for only 500 yen! We also ordered meat hitsumabushi, potatoes, yukhoe, and they were all amazing. We definitely want to use it again.

I visited after seeing it on Instagram. The meat was tender, and the "Gyu Hitsumabushi" where you can eat in various ways was delicious! However, even though I'm not someone who eats a lot of white rice, the volume was quite unsatisfying for me, so it might not be enough for men? I wish it had a bit more volume to enjoy the various ways of eating it, so my rating is a bit low.
