This shop, which had the longest line at the outlet, was where I decided to wait a bit to enter. I ordered a set of sashimi and tempura, being conscious of health. The sashimi was exquisite and delicious. The tempura had a slightly thick and heavy batter, but it was still tasty and satisfying.

The menu has a good variety from hearty dishes to light options and small portions, making it convenient for families. The restaurant has only table seating with chairs for kids, and the back seats are spacious enough to accommodate a stroller, which was very helpful. We ordered a set of meat soup and negitoro bowl. I was surprised to find out that it was just the soup and not with noodles, but it was written clearly on the menu so it was my mistake for overlooking it. However, the taste was delicious and it warmed me up nicely!

On the second floor of Rinku Premium Outlets, there is a restaurant where tables are lined up and you can see a bit of the outside from the seats at the back. This time, I ordered a tendon dish knowing that my stomach might not handle it well. The impact was too much, haha. This dish is definitely Instagram-worthy. The anago (conger eel) was so big that the shrimp looked small in comparison. The anago was folded in half because it was so big (it was folded in half and still this big, haha). The taste was delicious, of course! But the portion was too much, so after finishing it, I couldn't move much...

I stopped by a shop on a whim. When I entered, the cheerful staff welcomed me. There were so many menu options displayed that I was excited and couldn't decide what to eat before even entering. But then I saw a poster at the entrance. It said "Special Deluxe Eel Rice Bowl"! The top! Above top? I decided on this! The restaurant had a casual outlet vibe. It was delicious! There were many seats, so it seemed like a lot of work. I always end up thinking from the perspective of the business owner... haha. The eel bowl came in a cool dish, but it was a bit hard to eat, and some rice grains were left over, so I personally prefer a regular dish. But it was tasty! Thank you very much!

We visited for lunch! I had the grated daikon radish fried chicken set, while my wife had the tempura set. There were various set meals to choose from and we were indecisive. The grated daikon radish fried chicken set came with a generous portion of fried chicken. It was refreshing with the grated daikon radish! The tempura set also had plenty of tempura. Plus, the rice portion was quite substantial! Our stomachs were full. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at Mame Torao at Rinku Premium Outlets. There was a long line before the store even opened, but after waiting for about 70 minutes, I finally got in. I ordered the Special Anago Tempura Tendon for 1738 yen, which came with miso soup and pickles. The tendon was served with a long piece of anago (conger eel) standing tall, surrounded by delicious tempura. The anago tempura was crispy and fluffy, soaked in the flavorful tempura sauce. The tendon also included shrimp, sillago, shiso leaf, squid, pumpkin, sweet potato, and eggplant, all with generous portions. It was hard to reach the rice underneath, so after eating about a third of the anago, I used the lid of the bowl as a plate to make room for the other toppings. I managed to finish everything, although I started to feel a bit full towards the end. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast!

I came here to find dinner in Rinku Town. I felt like having something rare, so I ordered grated daikon fried chicken. The restaurant itself is like a family restaurant in an outlet mall, with a view of the road outside. The hot fried chicken arrived after a while, and it was too much in volume. It might be fine for young people, but for someone over 50 like me, it was too much. It was like Tatsuta-age with grated daikon, so I did my best to finish it, but my stomach was completely full. Next time, I would like to choose something with less volume. Thank you for the meal.

Second visit to Mame Toraji at Rinku Outlet. There are not many restaurants where you can eat in, so options are limited besides the food court. The menu has changed a bit since last time! Since it's summer, I tried the new menu item, cold udon with Izumisano pork. My impression is... average! The flavor is a bit light, maybe depending on personal preference! I only ate the noodles and left the rest, sorry. The Negitoro bowl was delicious!

I stopped by in the middle of shopping and ordered the Ebi Tempura Don with five large prawns on top of eggplant, shiso leaf, pumpkin tempura, and maybe some sweet potato too. The presentation was great and the portion size was impressive. The tempura batter was crispy and the broth was delicious. I don't make tempura at home because the oil splatters everywhere, but it's so tasty when eaten out. They also had Anago and Unadon on the menu that caught my eye, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal! ☺️

I quickly had lunch. The restaurant was spacious. I felt like eating tempura, so I decided to enter the restaurant after looking at the showcase. The variety of tempura was amazing. They had large leaves, shishito peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, sweet potato, white fish, and two shrimp tempura. It's rare to get such a generous amount in a set meal! Normally, if you get two shrimp tempura, the price would be really high... Honestly, I was so satisfied with the volume that my stomach started to feel uncomfortable towards the end. I think it's a good value for around 1500 yen. I will come back when I'm hungry again.

After playing at Sennan Long Park, I was tired and wanted to go home. However, I was dragged to this outlet. It was my first time coming at a late hour and it was crowded. It seemed like a gathering of people who don't go far. I was hungry, so I decided to eat here even though there was a line. I ordered a tempura bowl with the sauce on the side. My daughter had the Inunaki pork tempura bowl with a warm mini udon. The tempura bowl was delicious and having the sauce on the side was a good choice. It was light and crispy. The Inunaki pork had a lot of fat and was tough, not very tasty according to my daughter. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the tsukedon (dipping noodles) because my wife ordered the tendon (tempura rice bowl), thinking she wouldn't finish it all. But when my order arrived, the portion of noodles was only about half of what was shown in the photo. The tsukejiru (dipping sauce) was delicious, the pork was tasty, and the noodles were chewy and good. But the portion was just too small for the price of 1180 yen. Overall, it was a decent lunch, but the portion size was disappointing.

I went to Rinku Premium Outlets last month because there was a sale. For lunch, I chose "Mame Torao," a restaurant with a variety of udon and tempura dishes. It was around lunchtime, so I had to wait for about 30 minutes. I didn't have high expectations for the outlets' dining options, but the food was delicious. The cost performance was decent, and the staff were friendly. If there's no wait next time, I would like to go again.

When I came before, the menu had changed a bit this time. I ordered the "Hamidashi Tendon" this time. Normally, the tempura bowl comes with 7 toppings, but with the "Hamidashi," eel and tempura are added on top. It definitely overflows!

Before the store opened, there were already three groups lined up at this restaurant. I had visited once before and remembered that the tempura batter was very hard and almost like a snack, so I hesitated for a moment this time. However, I noticed that the menu had expanded and the tempura on display seemed to have a thinner batter, so I decided to give it another try! I ordered the tempura bowl (regular size) and something like a seafood seiro. The tempura included shrimp, squid, sillago fish, pumpkin, eggplant, mizuna greens, and sweet potato, piled high on the bowl and almost overflowing. The batter was thinner and tastier than before. It came with simmered hijiki seaweed and soybeans, pickled Chinese cabbage, and miso soup. The seafood seiro came with broth, allowing me to make ochazuke. There were several restaurants lined up, but this one was packed and had a long line. It's better to go before the store opens!

I went to Mame Toran while visiting Rinku Premium Outlets for lunch. I ordered the "Overflowing Tempura Donburi" for ¥1380, thinking that they specialize in tempura since they have a lot of tempura options on the menu. It took longer than expected for the dish to be served. When the tempura bowl arrived, it was overflowing with various tempura such as shrimp, squid, conger eel, smelt fish, and vegetables, offering a huge portion. However, the quality of the tempura was similar to that of a family restaurant - most of them were fried too much and became tough. Despite being hungry, I managed to finish everything, but ended up with heartburn afterwards. Tempura should definitely be eaten with caution. I should have gone to Kua Aina, which is three stores down. Thank you for the meal.

I headed south on Route 26 and visited Rinku Town after a long time. I arrived around 12 pm on a weekday, feeling hungrier than usual after walking around for shopping! The restaurant was almost full, but I was seated without having to wait. By the time I finished my meal and left the restaurant, there were about three groups waiting, so it's better to arrive early. The menu had clear photos and was available in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese. The staff were also very accommodating to foreign customers, showing their efforts to meet the demand. The restaurant was about half full of foreign tourists, and I assume the other half were locals or repeat customers. I ordered the overflowing tempura bowl with extra rice and cold udon. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food arrived in just 15 minutes, showing the high level of operation efficiency during peak hours. The tempura was plentiful, covering the rice completely. My partner chose the yuzu udon, and we left the restaurant satisfied and full after a well-spaced seating arrangement.

I ordered the tempura set meal, which came with two large shrimp, squid about 15 centimeters long, shiso leaf, pumpkin, eggplant, and other items, offering a substantial amount of food. The taste was delicious with a crispy and freshly fried coating. The miso soup also had a rich flavor that was enjoyable. The prices were reasonable, so I would like to visit again.
