At the company drinking party, we went to "Bible Club Osaka" for the second bar! At first, we couldn't find the entrance (;∀;). When we opened the door, we went downstairs. It was relatively empty that day. Maybe because of the influence of Corona...? The interior of the store is stylish with a dark atmosphere. It feels like a chic adult hideaway bar. I ordered two sweet cocktails! They were delicious with a relaxing sweetness. I was nervous because it was my first time at such a place. I want to go again!

I love it so much that I brought my friends along. I had a cocktail called "The old man and the sea," which was very nostalgic. It had a double shot of rum with a hint of sweetness and cinnamon, which perfectly matched the atmosphere. The mixed nuts on the food menu were addictive, coated with Portland honey and spices. This is the BAR I've been looking for. (Actually, I don't want to tell anyone about it...) "BibleClubOsaka," a BAR that made its first appearance in Japan from Portland, Oregon, in the United States. There is a hidden door quietly located on the street in Higashi-Shinsaibashi. Even though I must have passed by it many times, I didn't notice it at all. It's right next to "Sumibi Yaki Tori Wen," run by a friend of mine... It seems to have opened around autumn last year (2018). A friend who is a gourmet guide invited me to a BAR saying they wanted to go there, and that's how I ended up at "BibleClubOsaka." When I was guided to the door, I was already captivated by the fantastic atmosphere of BibleClub. When you open the door, there is a staircase leading downstairs. And another door... This flow of movement tightly grasps my maiden heart. When you gently open the door, you find an antique, adult hideaway bar. The fantastic atmosphere may be due to the nostalgic American scent that permeates the air. Or maybe it's because of the rare whiskey imported to Japan that I haven't experienced yet. It's like a soft, well-balanced high-end fragrance... The design of the counter somehow reminds me of the oldest pharmacy in Europe, "Santa Maria Novella." (I love it so much that I go to Florence just for the day while in Rome, just for Santa Maria.) The interior of the shop is actually inspired by bars from the late 1800s to early 1900s during the American Prohibition era, but my mind immediately jumped to a European image. During the Prohibition era in America, this bar is famous as a sister establishment to the "Bible Club" in Portland, Oregon. It is described as a rare crafted cocktail bar where you can experience the era before the enactment of the American Prohibition. The entrance is not visible at all. On the street next to GU in Shinsaibashi, there is an antique accessory shop on the first floor. There are stairs leading to the basement, where the entrance to this bar is located. The interior of the bar is filled with a vintage atmosphere. There was a cool British bartender. I tried a cocktail called Negroni Flip (it was interesting to see it under the menu genre "Proprietary Libations"). It was a sweet drink made with Martin Miller's Gin, Carpano Antica Vermouth, Campari, Rich Syrup, Regan's Orange Bitters, egg, and Angostura Bitters. The presence of raw egg made the sweetness mellow. I really like this place. The only downside is that they don't stay open late at night. I would love to visit the main branch in Portland again.

The most trusted master in Roppongi has started a new project in Shinsaibashi. It was hard to visit due to Osaka being enemy territory, but finally reunited this evening. Being unfamiliar with the area, I had some trouble finding the place, but it was worth it. From a G&T to a Martini, the drinks were both comforting and innovative, making for an enjoyable night. Personally, I prefer smaller venues, but I was satisfied with the interior. It would be nice if it wasn't too crowded, but that might be unavoidable.

The entrance was quite difficult to find, like entering a secret base underground. The inside of the shop was larger than expected, and there was only one manager working. I was guided to the counter and ordered a recommended cocktail. Since it was the season for Shine Muscat, a Shine Muscat Martini was served. The taste and service at the shop were perfect. The manager was friendly, and before I knew it, I was chatting away until the last train. It's a bar that I would definitely recommend to my friends.
