This sushi restaurant is popular in Nagahoribashi and has been selected as one of the top 100 sushi restaurants. We were able to get a table without a reservation, arriving right at 6:00 pm. The restaurant has a spacious counter and tables on the first floor, with seating also available on the second floor. While sushi is the main menu item, they also offer a variety of other dishes, making it suitable for both sushi dining and izakaya-style eating. We ordered maguro zuke, akami tuna, unagi butter, iwashi, uni avocado, seared cheese, and as side dishes, corn tempura and clam croquettes. The maguro zuke had a rich flavor and high-quality ingredients, while the akami tuna and iwashi were also of good quality. The unagi butter, a specialty of the restaurant, was excellent. The uni avocado had a bit less uni than expected. The seared cheese was tasty, but could probably be found at other places as well. The corn tempura and clam croquettes were good accompaniments to drinks. Overall, all the dishes were delicious. The prices were reasonable, fitting for an izakaya, and I believe this restaurant is a top-notch establishment both as a sushi restaurant and an izakaya.

We spent 18,000 yen for two people, and the price might have been high because we drank quite a bit. The taste was not bad considering the price. I used to live in Hokkaido, so I wasn't particularly impressed. There are some unique dishes, so it was enjoyable in that sense. The portion sizes are not large.

There is also a store at Ohatsu Tenjin in Umeda, but this time I visited the Unagidani Minami Street store. It seems crowded during lunchtime, but when I visited around 5:30 pm on a weekday, there were empty seats at both the counter and tables. There are also seats on the second floor. Reservations are not accepted for lunch. I am not a big fan of raw fish or seafood, but I was able to enjoy the meal. In particular, the seasonal raw octopus was delicious, and it was the first time in my life that I found it tasty. The prices are reasonable for non-conveyor belt sushi. The rice portions are a bit small, so you can eat it quickly. I accidentally ordered child-carrying konjac instead of child-carrying kelp, but it was delicious (laughs).

I looked at the food log in Osaka and decided to go there! The lunch was a great deal! The eel in Kansai was crispy and delicious! Eel in Kanto is soft and I like that too, but I thought this was a true Osaka gourmet experience, as expected from a popular restaurant! It was crowded!

Traveling in Osaka ✈️ Strolling around Shinsaibashi! I wanted to eat sushi and found this place❣️ It was incredibly cheap, delicious, and had the best cost performance✌️ I chose the mixed sushi set and eel bowl! Everything was fresh and tastyー the red miso soup and chawanmushi were included! (*'.'*) It was so deliciousー I definitely want to go there again when I visit Osaka! Thank you for the meal.

When I went to Osaka and felt like eating sushi, I stumbled upon this restaurant. It is located about a 2-3 minute walk northwest from Exit 7 of Osaka Metro Nagahoribashi Station. As I was taking a photo from the front, I noticed several groups entering and exiting, indicating that it is a popular spot. The counter was full, but there was one empty box seat for 4-6 people, so I was seated there. There were couples and people in suits sitting at the counter! There also seemed to be seating on the 2nd floor, and the place was bustling with many sushi chefs. Since it was hot outside, I started with a toast with beer, which tasted great even in Osaka. I ordered a 1.5-person portion of assorted sushi (¥1,800) and an eel rice bowl (¥1,200)! The assorted sushi and eel rice bowl came with chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and red miso soup. The chawanmushi was delicious, and the red miso soup had a gentle flavor that warmed my heart. The assorted sushi included tuna, yellowtail, squid, shrimp (2 pieces each), smelt roe, salmon roe, scallop, eel (1 piece each), and cucumber rolls (2 pieces). It felt like regular sushi, but the cost performance was high! The eel in the rice bowl was different from what you would find in the Kanto region, with a crispy texture that was also delicious. This dish also had great cost performance and left me satisfied! This is a great place for casual drinking, with a good selection of izakaya dishes. The menu even has popular rankings listed, so if you choose from there, you won't go wrong! The sushi was very satisfying and delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I didn't have a reservation for Friday at 18:30, but I was able to get a seat at the counter without waiting for two people! I ordered a small draft beer, eel butter, red tuna, salmon, duck with camembert cheese, fatty tuna, and seared medium fatty tuna! The menu is quite extensive, but there are popular rankings written on it, so if you choose those, you can't go wrong! (laughs) The cost performance is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing, and I was able to enjoy very delicious sushi. ♡

My friends from overseas wanted to eat sushi, so we had to change plans as the restaurant we wanted to go to was full. We arrived around 9 pm on a weekday and had to wait a bit for a table. They had menus in foreign languages which was reassuring. We ordered a variety of dishes, but I forgot to take photos. The sushi was a bit on the smaller side, but delicious. My friends from overseas also enjoyed it. ⭐️

I didn't particularly feel like eating, but I wanted to eat something anyway. I noticed there wasn't a line, so I decided to go in. It's been a while since the pandemic. Despite the fact that prices have increased by 100 to 300 yen everywhere, here... the prices are the same?!?! It's really appreciated. I can feel the company's efforts. The chawanmushi here is delicious. It feels like you're getting sushi for the price of chawanmushi.

I ordered the deluxe nigiri set and got a half portion. It came with chawanmushi, miso soup, and one side dish. The rice was on the smaller side. The deluxe nigiri set included 2 pieces each of herring roe, tuna, yellowtail, and squid, and 1 piece each of scallop, shrimp, salmon roe, and eel, along with 2 rolls of cucumber sushi. The deluxe nigiri set was not quite what I expected. Maybe I should have just ordered the regular nigiri set that the person next to me was eating. There were a lot of foreign customers in the restaurant. Japanese sushi seems to be quite popular. Thank you for the meal! (^∧^)

The shop seems very busy! I went before 6 pm, but there was a long line and I had to wait for almost an hour. There were also many foreign customers coming back, giving the impression that it was very busy. The taste was excellent with good quality ingredients. The specialty dish, eel with butter, was innovative and delicious. The artisans seemed to be working very hard.

It was delicious and the lunch was a great deal, highly recommended! I was lucky to be able to get in without waiting in line as it is usually crowded. I forgot to take a photo, but the popular menu item "Eel Butter" nigiri was very delicious! I wish the fish was a bit bigger though. ★

Everyone, hello! After satisfying ourselves with Italian appetizers, our second stop was here - I accidentally forgot to post about it. The finale was sushi! We went to "Jinen Unadani Minami-dori" for that. There were about 10 people waiting in front of the restaurant, all of them seemed to be foreigners as they had foreign names written down. Maybe this restaurant is recommended in guidebooks? We waited for about 30 minutes and were seated at a table on the second floor. It's a large restaurant with a sushi counter at the end where chefs were preparing sushi. We ordered red snapper and tuna nigiri, squid sashimi, yellowtail collar, and celery with salt koji. We started with a beer before digging into the delicious sushi. The red snapper and tuna nigiri were amazing, and the squid sashimi was thick and sweet. The yellowtail collar was also very meaty. The eel cheese seemed to be popular, but we were already satisfied with the eel in our set. We added fatty tuna rolls and more nigiri, and enjoyed a clam miso soup. It's a lively place with a wide variety of izakaya dishes, suitable for friends, families, and tourists alike. Although it may not be a place for serious sushi enthusiasts, everyone can find something to enjoy here. We had 6 drinks and the total bill came to 11,900 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal!
I love this restaurant! The master chefs are all friendly, and the menu is extensive! I made a reservation on the same day for Saturday night, and I was seated at the counter right away without having to wait. The restaurant was busy, so it took a bit of time for the sushi to come out, but the master chef checked in on us frequently! We spent around 10,000 yen for two people, and we were very satisfied. I will definitely go back again!

I had lunch here. I ordered a set of 1.5 sushi rolls, which came with a side dish, red miso soup, and chawanmushi, all for 900 yen. The sushi was delicious as usual. The chawanmushi was hot and tasty until the end, and the red miso soup had a flavorful broth. It was a satisfying lunch for 900 yen. I will visit again.

Visited as the second stop after a yakitori restaurant. Tried the specialty, eel with butter. It lived up to its reputation, with the butter not being too heavy. Surprisingly, it was a good combination. Worth trying. As it was the second stop, we couldn't order much, but the sushi was reasonably priced, although the fish and rice were on the smaller side. Other dishes were neither impressive nor disappointing.

This popular restaurant is always crowded whenever you go! I was lucky to get in without waiting after 12 o'clock!! I couldn't decide between the seafood bowl or sushi, but I ended up choosing the recommended seared yellowtail bowl for ¥700 today. The appearance may not be impressive, but the taste was great. There were about 6-7 slices of sashimi! The volume of the seafood bowl itself was decent, but it came with red miso soup, a side dish, and chawanmushi, so it was quite filling. The chawanmushi was also delicious. The other menu items looked tasty too, so I want to come back to this place! They also have a branch in Tenjin, so I would like to visit there as well. Thank you for reading until the end! Likes and saves make me happy, so please check out my Instagram as well.

It seemed to be a very popular restaurant, so I decided to stop by around 6 pm without knowing. They said there was only a one-hour wait, so I decided to stay for a bit. I ordered a sashimi platter, a few types of sushi, shirako tempura, sake-steamed clams, and grilled blowfish to try. The grilled blowfish was disappointing as it was very small, but the rest of the dishes were decently tasty. The sushi pieces were on the smaller side, but the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was constantly busy with customers coming in, and when I left, there were about 10 groups waiting, so it's definitely a popular spot.

The restaurant is located about a 2-3 minute walk northwest from Exit 7 of Namba Station. Upon entering, you will be seated at the counter. There are also 4-person tables on the first floor and seating on the second floor. Let's start with a toast with a glass of draft beer. Now, let's enjoy some sushi. The sushi servings are typically two pieces per plate. We started with sardine and tuna, followed by yellowtail and green onion. The green onion sushi is wrapped in seaweed. You can taste the texture of the green onion along with the salt and sesame flavors. We also added a Black Nikka highball along the way. Let's continue eating and drinking. We had the "Emperor of the Night" sake with simmered fish head. The fish head is topped with wild vegetables, and simmered daikon radish is served on the side. The sweet and savory sauce complements the fish and skin, enticing you to drink sake. For a palate cleanser, we had horse mackerel with vinegar. To finish, we enjoyed eel with butter and green onions. The eel with butter combines the rich flavor of eel, fat, seaweed, butter, and sauce for a deep taste. The green onions provide a refreshing crunch and aroma with seaweed and salt. I look forward to visiting again for more sushi and sake. Thank you for the delicious meal.

You can enjoy various dishes such as sushi, sashimi, and grilled fish. Before the pandemic, there were many foreign tourists, but when I visited the other day, almost all the customers were Japanese. I went around 2 PM on a holiday and about 80% of the seats were filled. I ordered the specialty eel butter sushi, grilled fish, and hamburger, and all of them were delicious. The grilled fish was recommended by the staff as the best fish of the day. The handwritten menu lists seasonal items, and there are quite a few options available. The sushi menu is written on a laminated sheet, with a wide variety of choices. The fish and small dishes were delicious, the staff were lively, the interior was clean, and it was a cozy restaurant.
