It was different from the old times when I went there. Before, you could have meals and tea, but now they only offer three types of meals, as well as tea, puffs, and parfaits at the cafe. If you make a reservation in advance, you can apparently have a set meal. I had cheese risotto and a mini parfait. It was delicious. The mini parfait was actually quite large.

I found this while shopping while waiting for the store to open to get some Pippins. First, I tried using it when wrapping homemade chicken ham with lettuce and perilla leaves, and it was delicious in Korean cuisine! It is versatile, perfect for cold noodles, salads, and more. Truly an all-purpose seasoning.

I had always wanted to go to this restaurant to eat Pajeon. When I arrived early, the owner of the miscellaneous goods store downstairs told me I could wait inside. They had hats like the ones in Korean historical dramas, which got me really excited! I passed the time by shopping for seasonings and then finally enjoyed the Pajeon on the second floor cafe. It was delicious and got me even more excited. It was a great way to cool down.

Visited this shop in celebration of a friend's birthday. While I have been to Tsuruhashi a few times for shopping, this was my first time in Koreatown. The destination was this charming shop. The first floor sells food and miscellaneous goods, while the second floor is a dining area. I chose the lunch course and enjoyed authentic Korean cuisine. The chijimi and warm kimchi were delicious. After the meal, we had shaved ice. It was not a very hot day, so the ice was refreshing. The shaved ice was a hit with the ladies. The portion was just right for lunch, and the atmosphere inside the shop was lovely. I would like to visit again in the evening next time.

The regular size of Pippins comes in a big bowl similar to Bibimbap. Starting from June, the price will increase to 1000 yen. We enjoy mixing it together and sharing it between two people. The traditional Korean-style interior of the restaurant is lovely. They also offer a variety of tea options, which would be popular among women.

After exploring Koreatown, I stopped by for a break. The first floor sells Korean goods and food, while the second floor is a cafe. I sat in a tatami room, which reminded me of a Korean izakaya. They offer sweets and light meals. I tried the Sweet Plate with traditional Korean sweets for 1000 yen (including a drink). I chose a herbal tea from a few options. Honestly, the traditional sweets weren't that delicious. I wondered if eating them with chocolate fondue was the right choice (laughs). The simplicity of the taste made me think that old-fashioned sweets are like that. It was interesting to try, but I probably won't order it again. The shaved ice was simply delicious. With the weather getting hotter, I think more people will enjoy it. Thank you for the meal! ☆

On a Saturday afternoon, I went with a friend to [Hanaricha]. The gentle sweetness of the pear tea makes it very easy to drink with no strong flavors. At the bottom of the cup, there are shredded pears floating. The tea is known for its benefits such as cough relief, cold prevention, warming the body, and recovering from fatigue. My slightly dry throat from talking too much felt moisturized. It was a rainy day in Ikuno Koreatown, so we took shelter and enjoyed a traditional Korean tea. They also offer Korean traditional sweets, Ppippin, and a variety of Korean dishes that seem perfect for lunch.

On a Saturday afternoon around 3 o'clock, it's snack time! I was led by my partner to a place where smoothies and miscellaneous goods are sold on the first floor, and there is a cafe on the second floor. On this hot day, I decided to visit the cafe on the second floor to try their recommended Korean shaved ice dessert called Pappins. The interior of the shop had individual booths separated by a counter and a large table area with a cozy and stylish wooden decor. I was seated at the edge of the large table, where multiple people can sit. I ordered the Pappins for 780 yen and enjoyed a warm corn tea while waiting. The Pappins arrived in about 5 minutes, served in a silver bowl with finely shaved ice topped with ice cream in the center, surrounded by mango, berries, cereal, mochi, and sprinkled with soybean flour. I broke the ice with a spoon and savored the unique combination of berry acidity, condensed milk sweetness, and milky taste typical of Korean sweets. It was a refreshing and delicious treat, perfect for the upcoming season. Despite feeling like I couldn't finish it, I enjoyed every bit of it. Overall, I had a relaxing and enjoyable time at "Nagareru Sennen" in Momodani Korea Town, savoring a different kind of deliciousness from the fluffy Japanese shaved ice. I highly recommend this place for a laid-back moment.

I had a meat feast in Koreatown from the morning. Now it's tea time during a break. The café space is on the second floor, with a counter and tatami seating. It's a weekday but there are many customers. There are many types of tea available with various benefits such as fatigue recovery, high blood pressure, eye health, and menopausal symptoms. You can also get a sweet plate set. I chose Jue Ming Zi tea, which is good for the eyes, constipation, and high blood pressure. It's easy to drink with no caffeine. The sweet plate includes Kanjon (like a thunder cake), rice dumplings, almond tofu & mango pudding. You can also purchase sweets and tea at the shop on the first floor. The atmosphere is cozy and I ended up staying longer than planned.

I went to a café that had quite a few reviews on Poppins. The mango yuzu Poppins, well, the portion was huge but it got a bit boring (laughs). Unlike Japanese shaved ice, it felt like eating a half-hearted sweetness all the way through, which was a bit of a struggle towards the end (laughs). There was plenty of mango, but if there was a bit more yuzu jam, the overall flavor would be easier to eat. The service was good, and the chocolate croissant tonpan sold on the first floor had a texture similar to a hard croissant, which was unexpectedly delicious (laughs). The Poppins were stylishly presented and perfect for Instagram, I think. ＼(^^)／

Koreatown food tour! A family overwhelmed by the crowds enters a side street. There are hardly any people on the street, but there is a shop baking something like a taiyaki. The daughter, who loves sweet bean paste, immediately says "I want this!" It's called "tonpan"! It's crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and has walnuts in the sweet bean paste. She says she loves it! It's only 200 yen, which is amazing. The shop also sells miscellaneous goods, and the second floor is a cafe. I want to try the cafe next time! If you want to have tea in Koreatown, this is the place to go! I visited based on a friend's recommendation. The interior is not like an idol shop or a place popular with young women, but rather a calm and stylish Korean modern atmosphere. The overall decor is lovely and has a sense of good taste. There are many Korean traditional herbal tea options, which is exciting! Besides the familiar yuzu tea, there are many other teas with names I've never heard of before. I ordered a tea that the staff described as "very strong, almost like medicine." It was like a boiled Korean herbal tea, similar to kakkonto. It's recommended to consult with the staff and decide on a tea to order. The Korean traditional sweets assortment was interesting, with snacks like Japanese rice cakes and unique textured wheat cakes that were different from what I'm used to. Oh, and the mini size of the patbingsu (shaved ice dessert) is not really mini at all, it's quite large. Overall, the stylish reinterpretation of traditional Korean vibes was wonderful, so I would love to go back and try a different tea.

If you have a small appetite or are not looking to fill up, they also offer a mini size which might be better. It starts off delicious but with the coldness and the sourness of the fruits, it became quite difficult to finish towards the end.

This is a very pleasant Korean cafe. I tried almond jelly for dessert. They offer a variety of Korean teas that you can also buy to take home. However, the poop-shaped cakes are a bit overpriced at 200 yen each. If they added more filling, it might be worth it, but as they are, they seem a little expensive even at 100 yen.

When I visited Tsuruhashi with my friends, we stopped by this restaurant for the second time. It's always full, but the atmosphere is nice so you can relax. The pork skewers were really delicious too.

I can drink Korean tea here. This is my third visit.
