The children were thrilled to see the horse mackerel swimming in the tank being prepared for sashimi right in front of us. I had a craving for seafood and found a place in Itoshima on Tabelog. In winter, many places have oyster huts, but unfortunately they are not open in the summer. I arrived early in the evening for dinner and was one of the first customers. The spacious restaurant had many tables with grills, which made me excited to have some grilled seafood. I checked the menu and ordered the grilled seafood set, sesame mackerel, sea cucumber vinegar, and squid sashimi. The dishes arrived quickly, and the table turned into a seafood paradise. I couldn't wait to dig into the shellfish. The squid sashimi was fresh and delicious, served with lemon and moving tentacles. The texture was amazing, especially when dipped in the slightly sweet Kyushu soy sauce. The sesame mackerel was a must-try dish and was flavorful with a thick and tender cut. We all enjoyed it so much that we fought over it. Eating delicious food made me happy, especially with the sunset view outside. More customers arrived, and the place quickly filled up even though it was a weekday. I couldn't visit the oyster hut, but I added some oyster ajillo with bread and sea cucumber vinegar to my order. After enjoying the tempura squid tentacles, I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied. Everything was delicious, and the prices were reasonable for a tourist spot. Itoshima is a great place with a nearby beach, making it perfect for a summer beach trip or a visit to the oyster huts in winter.

When I went to Fukuoka, the restaurant I wanted to go to was full, so I visited this place instead. The experience was amazing! You can eat seafood that is incredibly fresh, still alive. The squid sashimi was outstanding in freshness. Personally, I really enjoyed the miso soup and oyster rice, but I forgot to take a picture of them. The restaurant is very spacious, so I think you can get in without a reservation!

Today I had some business in Ashiya, so I decided to grab a meal while I had some time. As I was wandering around, I stumbled upon "Hamayaki Shirahamaya"! The restaurant was spacious, with a vibe perfect for group BBQs. The ocean view was beautiful as well. The menu mainly featured grilled items like turban shells and scallops, but I was craving the popping texture of salmon roe, so I ordered the salmon roe bowl (with seaweed miso soup on the side). When the salmon roe bowl arrived, it was generously topped with luxurious amounts of salmon roe. Mixing soy sauce with wasabi and pouring it over the salmon roe was a delightful experience. While grilled dishes may be the main attraction, I highly recommend this place to salmon roe lovers as well.

Located by the sea, this restaurant has a very stylish building and, most importantly, the ingredients are top-notch like in a high-class Japanese restaurant. The staff's customer service is also excellent, making it a place you want to visit regardless of the season. There are swings and other play equipment for children, making it a great experience!

I went with my friends, but it's a recommended location for a date. You can grill oysters indoors so it won't get smoky. There are other menu options available as well. However, it's a bit pricey. For oyster lovers, I still recommend the nearby oyster shack - it's cheaper, has a generous portion size, and the oysters are big. That's my honest opinion.

There are terrace seats available, but during the winter months, you can enjoy beach grilling indoors. I ordered oysters, clams, homemade sausages, and mackerel. The basic condiments include soy sauce, ponzu, and lemon, but for an additional 100 yen, you can also add butter, mayonnaise, and other flavors. My favorite was the ponzu sauce. The oysters and clams were plump and delicious when served hot. The sausages came with ketchup and whole grain mustard, while the mackerel came with grated daikon radish on the side. The portions were quite generous, and even ordering single items left me feeling full. They provide something to wear to protect against shells flying when grilling oysters. There was a line of about 30 people even before opening on the weekend, so reservations are essential. There were still several groups waiting in line when I left.

We decided to go on a trip to Fukuoka with our second son, his wife, and our grandchild, and we wanted to eat seafood grill in Itoshima. We did some research and chose this place without making a reservation. When we arrived, it was just before lunchtime, but there were already several groups waiting, with a wait time of over an hour. We thought about moving to another restaurant, but my son wanted to wait, so we decided to wait inside. The waiting area felt cramped. We thought there were tatami rooms, but it turned out there were only tables. There were also tables outside where you could barbecue while enjoying the view of the sea. People with dogs were also allowed to barbecue outside. It was a very cold and windy day, so I, who is sensitive to the cold, couldn't bear to sit outside. On a sunny day, I think it would be nice. We were finally seated, but there were no chairs suitable for our grandchild (10 months old). We enjoyed the seafood grill, oyster grill, and seafood bowl very much. You can borrow a nylon jacket to avoid getting the smell on your clothes. Be careful as the oysters were exploding in various places while grilling. I don't know when I can go to Fukuoka again, but next time, I want to try the tent barbecue at the restaurant.

It wasn't very crowded because it was a regular day, but the taste was amazing! The oysters in particular were great value for money, and in my opinion, ordering 2 servings of oysters per person along with alcohol is the best way to go! The other shellfish were also good, but oysters were the best!

About a year ago, I saw AOKI from around the world visit this restaurant on a TV show. This time, I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant myself. The interior of the restaurant has a stylish atmosphere facing the sea. I ordered sesame mackerel bowl, oysters, and clams. After a while, the bowl arrived, and I mixed wasabi with the special soy sauce and poured it directly onto the bowl. Yum! It's delicious! I wish there was a bit more. Enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a great location overlooking the beautiful sea in Itoshima! We indulged in seafood as if we were having a barbecue, with a satisfying amount of sea bream rice bowl that had delicious broth. However, being a tourist spot near Akayu Daimon, the cost performance is a bit high, but the atmosphere and taste were great!

I was looking for a place where I could eat sea urchin rice bowl and found this place, so I drove from Hakata to visit. The squid sashimi set (medium) starts from 4,980 yen - The squid was really beautiful and transparent. It was crunchy, sweet, and very delicious. After enjoying the sashimi, we had it tempura style (*´꒳`*)♡ Akuya sea urchin rice bowl starts from 3,980 yen + Seaweed miso soup 320 yen - Finally, I got to try the sea urchin rice bowl. The sea urchin was creamy, delicious, and not fishy at all. It was sweet. The seaweed miso soup from Kyushu was sweet and very tasty. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere where you could even have a BBQ on the terrace. I missed out on trying the grilled clams this time, so I would like to come back for a rematch next time (*^_^*)
