About a 2-minute walk from Honmachi Station on the Yotsuhashi Line. With a rating of 3.48 on Tabelog, this hamburger restaurant used to have long lines, but it seems to have calmed down recently. I was able to enter smoothly even though it was just before lunchtime. The interior has a pop and lively atmosphere, more like a Korean-style izakaya than a hamburger restaurant. You purchase food tickets from a vending machine. The menu consists only of hamburgers. You can choose between 2 or 3 patties and whether you want cheese fondue or not. The "Weekday Special Set" for 1,000 yen allows you to choose from "tamago kake" (egg over rice), "tantan" (spicy sesame noodles), or "hitsumabushi" (eel over rice) as your rice dish. Despite being tempted by hitsumabushi, I opted for the classic tamago kake. Each table has a hot plate where the hamburgers and hot stones are placed for you to cook to your liking. Rice refills are self-service, and plates and chopsticks can be found in the drawers at each table. The set includes rice, miso soup, two 90g hamburgers, and a raw egg. Hitsumabushi comes with green onions, wasabi, and dashi broth instead of the egg. The 90g hamburgers are smaller than expected, and two patties may not be enough. They are pre-cooked with a nice sear on the outside and perfectly cooked inside, so no additional cooking is needed. The meaty flavor is rich and not greasy, with a nice balance of saltiness and smoky char. You can customize the taste with citrusy ponzu sauce, spicy miso, or other condiments. Personally, I enjoyed the spicy miso with green chili peppers. Despite being able to refill the rice, I still felt a bit unsatisfied. It would be great if they included three patties for this price. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

In the past, there used to be long lines outside the shop all the time, but now there is no need to wait, so I decided to go in. I purchased a meal ticket at the automatic ticket machine at the entrance. A set of two costs 1000 yen. You can choose from different types of rice for the final dish. The options are Hitsumabushi, Tamago Kake Gohan, and Tantan Meshi. This time, I chose Tamago Kake Gohan. First, a hot stone was brought to the table and then a minced meat burger. Since the inside was red, I placed that side on the stone to cook it. The outside was burnt and the taste was average at best. I had the second one as well, and then the egg arrived, so I also had the Tamago Kake Gohan. You can have unlimited refills of rice, which is self-service. This might be good for those who want to fill their stomachs. When I returned to the office, I was emitting a strong smell of smoke.

I visited for lunch and arrived at 11:00, but there were already 2 groups waiting. This time, I ordered the "Shime Tan Tan Meshi". The hamburgers were served in mini sizes, one at a time, cooked on a hot stone. They were delicious with a coarse grind. Additionally, the "Shime Tan Tan Meshi" was not too spicy and very tasty.

The hamburgers were served in the same way as the original restaurant, with self-serve rice and condiments for flavoring. The hamburgers were placed on a grill, but there were no coals or stones underneath, just a grill for presentation. Despite some concerns, the hamburgers themselves were quite delicious.

I visited a meat lover's paradise in Nishi Hommachi, Osaka for a weekday lunch special (Shime Hittsumabushi) for 1000 yen. Delicious! I originally planned to have fish for lunch and went to a nearby Japanese restaurant, but it was delayed by 30 minutes due to various reasons. So, I looked around and luckily found this place, which is usually crowded, completely empty. I quickly switched from fish to meat mode and entered the restaurant. The menu had two choices, but it was essentially one choice as you could choose between 2 or 3 90g hamburgers. Additionally, you could choose your preferred topping for the rice, either tamago kake, tantan, or hittsumabushi. The hamburgers were served rare and you could cook them on a hot stone to your liking and enjoy them with various sauces. My favorite was a mixture of ponzu and green chili miso. The rice was so good that I ended up having seconds, but thankfully, rice refills were free. The meal ended with a light hittsumabushi-style dish with a Japanese broth. This place is definitely popular for a reason.

This is a shop I've been curious about for a while. First, you purchase a meal ticket at the ticket machine, but depending on the menu, it can be hard to imagine the dish. I didn't have much trouble deciding because I had looked at reviews and photos on Tabelog. They seem to be particular about presentation, but the grill where the hamburger is placed is far away and difficult to eat. I think it would be better if they just served it on a hot plate like usual. Recently, there are too many shops that focus more on appearance than on ease of eating. The hamburger was delicious as you can adjust the cooking to your liking. The only thing that bothered me was that the staff talked too much amongst themselves.

I arrived at 13:30 on a weekday and although there was no wait, 80% of the seats were filled, indicating a busy time. The restaurant continued to have a steady stream of customers coming in, maintaining an almost full capacity. Due to a shortage of staff, the hot hamburg steaks were served after a delay, resulting in the last steak being served lukewarm and causing customers to eat it semi-raw. For those who prefer well-cooked hamburg steaks, I recommend choosing the lunch set with 2 steaks. Additionally, if you order egg rice, it is better to request for the egg to be served at the same time as the second steak. As mentioned by others, otherwise you may end up eating just egg rice after finishing the hamburg steaks.

The hamburger is cooked and served, still rare in the middle, so you cook it on a hot stone. I had thought it was dangerous to eat rare hamburgers made from scrap meat, but it seems to be safe at this restaurant. The minced meat is coarse and has a good texture. It was delicious to eat with various condiments, especially the spicy green chili miso. The meat sticks to the hot stone, so that was the only tricky part. It comes out in 80g portions, so you can enjoy it in various ways. There was less meat juice than I expected, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

As always, the quality was great. I took my acquaintance who was visiting on a business trip. We both ordered the rare hamburger without any toppings, which really highlighted the quality of the meat! Today we went for the lunch set with two items, so next we tried the egg over rice, which was also delicious! A bat and a hot stone were set on the table. Soon, the first hamburger arrived. They advised me to cook it on the hot stone to my liking because it was quite rare inside. I topped it with grated daikon radish, fried garlic, pickled ginger, and ponzu sauce. Let's dig in! The hamburger was very rare, giving it a tender and juicy texture. It felt like eating a rare red meat steak. It was meaty with a tender texture and rich flavor. Delicious. Delicious. I quickly finished the first hamburger by adding grated daikon radish, fried garlic, and ponzu sauce for flavor variation. After finishing the first hamburger, I quickly went for a refill. When the second hamburger arrived, the cheese fondue sauce and curry were served. I asked for the egg to be brought first. I always look forward to enjoying the best hamburgers in Osaka three times! Each time, I can feel the quality of the meat! The rice here is also delicious, and I really felt that again this time. The finale is a luxurious egg over rice with a rich egg yolk! It's a lifesaver during a busy day!

I went to a famous restaurant that was popular on Instagram. They served three types of minced meat cooked medium rare. The dishes were brought out one by one as I finished each one, which was fun. There were plenty of sauces for flavor variation. The meat paired perfectly with the egg. It may be a bit pricey, but the taste is excellent and I look forward to going back. It would be even better if they offered refills for the miso soup.

I had been curious for a while and finally went to try it out! The dish was delicious even without any condiments! The grated ponzu sauce was light and tasty, and the chili oil and green pepper miso on the table were perfect for changing up the flavors! You could help yourself to rice and water for refills. For dessert, I had the egg over rice, but it was a bit tricky to put the egg on top of the hamburger steak (lol). The female staff members were very kind and provided excellent service, including guidance on how to use the ticket machine.

The rice is free for seconds and you can change the flavor as much as you want, so when you're really hungry, I recommend adding 300 yen for the regular "Minced Meat Mania Meal". On May 10, 2023 (Wednesday) around 5:15 PM, I couldn't help but go to a place known for its Oyakodon (rice bowl with chicken and egg) when people call me an Oyakodon enthusiast. It was my first time at this restaurant, so I decided to go with the standard Oyakodon. I'm curious about other menu items, but I'll try them once I become more experienced. Hmm, how should I eat this properly? I'm pondering. Should I break the hamburger patty into pieces or leave it whole? I'm not sure, so I'll just eat it as it is! Oh! I tried a place recommended by a friend called First-Grind Meat Mania! I went for lunch. First, about ordering, it's a bit confusing because you have to choose a ticket from a vending machine and there isn't much explanation. I ended up selecting the egg topping. I think they have minimal staff to cut costs, so everything is lacking in explanation and I felt unsure. When I sat down, suddenly a half-cooked hamburger was placed on a grill and I was told to cook it to my liking with the hot stone. I asked about the egg, and they said it would be served later on top of rice. But wait, in the picture, the hamburger was on top of rice with an egg on top, right? I was confused. I ended up eating without really understanding how to do it. I tried to cook the hamburger well on the stone, but it stuck to the stone, and the egg was served after I finished the hamburger, so it just turned out to be egg over rice. Maybe because I didn't quite understand how to eat it, my rating is just average. It wasn't really what I expected from a "mania" place...

I decided to cook the other half a bit more on the hot stone. There are various condiments such as fried onions, furikake seasoning, pickled ginger, shichimi-togarashi, meat miso, gochujang, ponzu sauce, onion sauce, and soy sauce for flavor variations. My favorite combination was fried onions with onion sauce. They also offer to replace the hot stone before the third hamburg steak, which is appreciated. For the finale, I topped half a hamburg steak on the egg over rice, drizzled with ponzu sauce, creating a light and satisfying TKG (tamago kake gohan). It was delicious.
