Located along Route 68 in Minami-sato, Shime-cho, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, known as the "Dragon Doro" area. I participated in the heartwarming "Tenryu" anniversary festival event! The event was held in two parts on Saturday, September 2nd at 4 pm and 6 pm. Customers who attended were treated to the special anniversary ramen "Golden Ramen with Bonito Broth" for free♡ As part of the anniversary event, the Tenryu representative supported the donation to the NPO Charity Santa's "Share Cake Project", and all donations collected will be donated to the "Share Cake Project", a project that gives cakes to children who cannot celebrate their birthdays due to economic reasons. Upon entering the store, seating arrangements were made based on the name tags of the participants, and it was a full house! The head chef and young staff were carefully checking the "Golden Ramen with Bonito Broth" with a serious expression, creating a tense atmosphere different from usual. While the usual aroma of tonkotsu broth usually fills the store, today the scent of "bonito broth" prepared for the anniversary spread, creating an exciting and mysterious feeling. The long-awaited "Golden Ramen with Bonito Broth" was served! First, starting with the soup~ a rich bonito broth with a sharp soy sauce and well-balanced saltiness resulted in a deeply flavorful and delicious soy sauce ramen☆ Although there must have been challenges in exploring the soup, noodles, soy sauce, and fat due to the different specifications, the quality was not inferior to that of a specialty store. After the participants finished their meals, there was a charity donation, a speech from the founder, a speech from the head chef, and a group photo, making it a wonderful anniversary celebration! The strong belief of the head chef to inherit the founder's aspirations and evolve for the next generation was firmly established, so I thought that "Tenryu" would be secure forever. The motivation for why we work, such as "The difference between fun and enjoyable is like the difference between crab and imitation crab", was clearly stated on the wall, showing a clear direction in developing young staff, making the owner a promising entrepreneur. Next time, I want to try the "Tenryu" tonkotsu ramen, which has aged another year! If you're curious, try visiting this top-class tonkotsu ramen in Fukuoka. Thank you for the meal. Enjoy Ramen Life☆

After a five and a half year hiatus, I visited "Tenryu" in Shime-cho, Kasuya-gun. It's not my favorite flavor, but I saw many people praising it on Tabelog, so I wanted to confirm it. They have a system where you can order through a QR code. I was tempted to add a boiled egg, but I couldn't justify the extra 180 yen, so I chose the ramen (750 yen). I specified the firmness of the noodles and added it to the cart before sending the order. The rich soup had a creamy texture without being covered in foam, which was impressive. The flavor of the bones was well incorporated. However, I could still taste a slight bitterness and astringency that others claimed was absent. As I continued eating, it became less noticeable. They pride themselves on using wheat noodles that allow you to taste the natural sweetness and aroma of wheat, but the rich soup overshadowed any sweetness or aroma. Isn't it a basic principle of noodle dishes, including ramen, to pair rich soup with thick noodles? If the owner of this shop says, "You just have an immature palate," I would accept it, but I don't want to hear it from those who praise udon noodles with a lack of wheat flavor or look down on "Marugame Seimen" and "Hanamaru Udon," where you can clearly taste the wheat flavor. The soup wasn't greasy, but it was too salty, so I could only drink half of it. As a side note, the shop "Grab Your Heart in Yame City" offers a similarly rich soup without bitterness, and they use medium-thick noodles with a diameter of about 3mm, which creates a better balance with the soup. Still, I think even thicker noodles would be a better match. Overall, I feel like this shop doesn't quite reach the same level.

Fukuoka Prefecture, Kasuya District, Shime Town, Minamisato 1-3-31. There is a famous street called "Dragon Road" in Kasuya District, along prefectural route 68, where many shops with names like "Ryuu" (dragon) are lined up, popular among ramen lovers. One of the well-known shops on Dragon Road is "Tenryu". I had heard of the name before but never had the chance to visit as Kasuya District is not a place I often go to. During a drive, I decided to stop by. The friendly waitress greeted me and I sat down. They have a high-tech system where you can view the menu by scanning a QR code. I ordered a ramen and half-fried rice set (1050 yen). The rich tonkotsu broth arrived after a short wait. The ramen arrived! The soup was thick and rich, with a strong tonkotsu smell. Some reviews mentioned it was "light" or "not smelly", but for me, it was quite heavy and had a strong smell. The homemade ultra-thin noodles were well-coated with the soup. The fried rice had a nice balance of flavors. I'm sorry, but this type of ramen is not my favorite. The smell was just too much for me! It's all about personal preference though. The atmosphere and service at the restaurant were great, so it's a good place to visit for those who enjoy hearty and rich ramen. Tonkotsu ramen is tricky... there are so many different flavors, so it really depends on personal taste.

I heard a rumor about a place called Dragon Road in Shimen Town, so I decided to check it out. Along the same road, there were five ramen shops competing with each other, which is how the area got its name. Today, I visited "Tenryu" at Dragon Road. The place was packed, but I was able to get a seat at the L-shaped counter. I was asked to scan a QR code on the table to place my order, which was a new experience for me. I found it convenient, but it felt like the restaurant was shifting some of the work to the customers. The ramen was a rich tonkotsu broth, perfect for those who enjoy strong flavors. The pickled mustard greens were not on the table but were brought to me upon request, and they were delicious. Towards the end of the meal, I mixed everything together - the thick chashu, ramen, pickled mustard greens, and red pickled ginger - and it was incredibly tasty. It was a moment of pure bliss, despite the guilt of indulging in such a rich meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

There are counter seats and table seats, and it gets crowded during lunchtime, so it's recommended to go a little later. There are warm comments written by someone who used to work there on the counter, showing that it's a very cozy shop. The tonkotsu ramen looks rich, but surprisingly, I found it easy to eat. The small size of the plate for the half-fried rice made it a little difficult to eat. haha

It's been a long time since I've wanted to eat some "tonkotsu~! More~ leetsuu~!" tonkotsu ramen, so I searched on Tabelog and found "Tenryu Ramen" which I've never been to before! As a self-proclaimed green onion lover, I decided to order the "Barinegi Ramen" right away! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very "THE", but not overly decorated with tonkotsu motifs. They use QR codes for ordering, and are active on social media like Instagram, making it a very modern ramen shop. The Barinegi ramen arrived, and although it may not look very green onion-heavy in the photos, it's actually quite tall! The green onions are large and not too pungent, suggesting they've been well drained. The other toppings include wood ear mushrooms, chashu, and large pieces of roasted seaweed. The wood ear mushrooms are hidden under the green onions, but have a nice texture and don't seem to be pickled. The chashu is two slices, cooked to be tender and fatty, and the roasted seaweed is also generously sized. Now, onto the taste test! The soup is surprisingly light despite its punchy flavor, thanks to the restaurant's special "bone powder". It has a satisfying taste without being too heavy, making it quite enjoyable. The noodles are thin but not extremely so, with a slight chewiness and a hint of sweetness and umami from the whole wheat and stone-ground wheat they use. The more you eat, the more satisfying the noodles become. The chashu is tender and would be suitable for sharing with a child. The fatty parts are melt-in-your-mouth tender. The green onions are fresh and not bitter, adding a nice crunch when mixed with the noodles. The wood ear mushrooms are well-sized and not overly seasoned. I also ordered the special spicy mustard greens on the side, which added a harmonious kick to the overall experience. If you're craving a punchy tonkotsu ramen, I highly recommend Tenryu Ramen! It's a rich and satisfying ramen that even those with a sensitive stomach can enjoy by adding extra green onions.

I visited a famous ramen shop called Dragon Road for the first time. I thought it would be a traditional place, but you have to order through a QR code, which is more like a modern restaurant. It's a bit of a hassle to order a bowl of ramen this way. The man sitting next to me tried to order directly without using his phone, but he wasn't able to get his order through. As for the taste, it wasn't really my type.

Today I arrived at the restaurant 3 minutes before opening. As soon as they opened, I entered and sat at the counter. I ordered the extra large ramen with thick noodles, but the waiter said, "Please place your order through the QR code." It seemed like a hassle, but I did it from my smartphone (mobile order). After a while, the ramen arrived! It looked really rich and flavorful. When I took the first bite, it was so hot! The soup was scalding hot, so be careful not to burn your mouth! Despite the heat, it was delicious and the noodles were perfectly coated in the broth. The pork slices were thick and tender, really tasty. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely come back again. Next time, I think ordering will be smoother!

I visited this shop in Dragon Road in Shimen-cho after a few years. To my surprise, they had implemented a system where customers can order by scanning a QR code with their smartphones. This method, which is becoming more common in izakayas, was the first time I had seen it in a ramen shop. The shop only had a counter, with about 5 staff members waiting for customers to input their orders, which would then be sent to the kitchen for preparation. I wonder what the benefits of this system are for the shop... I ordered the ramen for 700 yen and a mini fried rice for 350 yen. First, the fried rice arrived, and just as I was waiting for it to be ready, the ramen appeared. The fried rice had a good taste, but it was unusually watery. It had a moist, almost mushy texture, with a noticeable amount of moisture instead of oil. I'm not sure if it was just today or if this is how they usually make it, but I would like to try it again because the seasoning was delicious. The ramen was rich and had a thick, gritty soup with bone powder. I was surprised by this, as I don't remember it being like this before. The soup was delicious. The only downside I can think of is that the amount of soup was a bit small. Since it was a thick soup, it coated the noodles well, and there was almost none left after getting a refill. I finished the soup because it was so tasty, but I felt like I wanted a bit more. I would like to visit again to confirm if this amount is standard. I still don't quite understand the benefit of having customers order through their smartphones until the end...

I ordered the ramen with wonton noodles, spicy mustard greens (free), and simmered pork bone. The soup was thick and creamy without any pork bone smell. The noodles were thin and the chashu had just the right thickness. The wontons had a good amount of meat filling. It was a delicious meal!

I went to eat there because it was featured on Asadesu. The soup is thick and almost gooey. It was similar to the rich soup at Tenkaippin. I ordered an extra serving of noodles, but I started to feel full halfway through. It's a ramen that seems to divide people into those who like it and those who don't. If you order it, you can get pickled mustard greens for free. They didn't have it on the table.

I used it for dinner. I ordered regular ramen. The soup was quite thick and had a gritty texture, almost to the point of feeling grainy on the tongue. Personally, I felt that the thickness did not necessarily correspond to the flavor, so I will rate it accordingly.

I searched for a job in Shimomino Town, so I came to this place. It's right next to Family Mart, so it's very easy to enter. When I entered, it was just before lunchtime and I was able to sit just in time. Customers kept coming one after another, and it was lively and nice. It was my first time here, so I tried ordering the firmness of the ramen. The waiting time was a bit long for a ramen shop... but once the ramen arrived, I didn't really care about that anymore! First of all, it looks beautiful. Despite being busy, it is carefully presented. The soup is rich and the noodles are coated with it, so it's heavy to lift. It's rich but not greasy, and as someone who likes strong flavors, it's really my preferred taste. It might be a little bit salty. I usually order extra firm noodles, but the firmness of the noodles this time was just right. The chashu was also to my liking, thick and tender. I wanted to drink up all the soup, but I'm on a diet and I want to enjoy ramen shops, so I drank a little and then resisted and left some. But since the noodles were coated with the soup, it felt like I had eaten a lot. It was really delicious while piping hot. Thank you for the meal ☺︎

Recently, my daughter's lessons are concentrated on weekends, so I can only go to places nearby... \(//∇//)\ I've come here a few times too \(//∇//)\ The ramen and fried rice are delicious! However, I feel like the soup has become thicker recently! It's not that I don't like it! So today, I had two extra servings of noodles after finishing my ramen! The ramen is 700 yen and each extra serving is 150 yen, so it came out to exactly 1000 yen! Please make the extra servings 100 yen each! Thank you for the meal (^人^) I will come again!

Today, I came to Aeon Mall Fukuoka. I decided to have ramen for lunch and chose this place. I arrived just after 11 am and was able to sit at the counter without any issues. About 10 minutes later, it was almost full. I ordered the ramen for 700 yen and a chashu bowl for 380 yen. It arrived in about 5 minutes and looked very delicious. Let's dig in. I tried the soup, noodles, and chashu, and this ramen is hands down the best I've ever had. You can tell how high the quality is once you taste it. The chashu bowl was average. I ordered extra noodles with firm texture and enjoyed them with pickled mustard greens. Overall, it cost 1230 yen, but the ramen's quality is truly outstanding. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it. I would definitely want to come back here when I visit Aeon Mall Fukuoka again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Aeon to prepare for a business meeting tomorrow. I finished shopping before noon, so I went to Dragon Road. I finally got to go there as I had wanted to try it. I ordered ramen with an extra serving of noodles. I was very satisfied with the rich soup. I arrived just before 12 o'clock, so I didn't have to wait in line, but more and more customers came in while I was eating, so I realized once again that it is a popular restaurant. Next time, I want to try the fried rice.

"The Dragon Road" is said to be the most popular ramen shop. The soup is rich and creamy with no unpleasant smell, making it addictive. The chashu is incredibly delicious! The fried rice is flavorful and goes perfectly with the ramen. Watching them cook it in a wok enhances the taste. The dumplings are packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I tried the "Special Creamy Chashu Ramen" (900 yen) and the recommended Tenryu Full Course "Golden Set" (1,380 yen) [ramen, half order of dumplings, half order of fried rice].

I intended to eat red pasta, but my mood got rough and I ended up going for brown noodles and soup. My restless feelings couldn't be easily stopped. From red to rough brown noodles! Yes! To Tenryu! The homemade noodles here are unique. They use special whole grain flour. Of course, it's different from the old days, but evolving is wonderful. The soup is rich without back fat, perfect for when you're feeling rough! I usually add pickled ginger, but with the noodles and soup here, you don't need ginger, green onions, or garlic. Maybe even the thick-sliced char siu that they pride themselves on might not be necessary. Warm the bowl well with hot water, add the homemade noodles, pour in the original sauce, add the soup, and the firm draining technique at Tenryu is inherited from the old man... I can't take my eyes off Tenryu, which will continue to evolve. I'll come back when I'm feeling restless again. Tenryu Ramen, Minami-sato 1-3-31, Shime-cho, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture. Parking available. 11:00-21:00, closed on Thursdays. 092-935-1588. #TenryuRamen #DragonRoadShimeTown #Ramen600yen #RichTonkotsuRamen #WholeGrainHomemadeNoodles #TetsuRamen #tetsuya720

I came to Ramen Tenryu because I remembered it being delicious and rich when I came before. I wanted to have something rich, so I ordered the ramen and fried rice set. The ramen came with chashu, green onions, seaweed, and wood ear mushrooms, and it looked rich. The noodles were thin and firm, just right. However, the fried rice was mushy and overly peppery, so I couldn't finish it. Maybe the chef that day was not good at making fried rice? I couldn't finish the fried rice. Thank you for the meal!

This is a ramen shop located on Dragon Road, Route 68 in Shime Town. I felt like having ramen since the morning, so I decided to have lunch here. Luckily, I didn't have to wait in line as I arrived around 1 pm. I ordered the Golden Set for 1380 yen, which includes ramen, half fried rice, and half gyoza. The ramen had a rich and creamy soup with whole wheat noodles, explaining why this popular shop always has a line. The fried rice was also delicious with a nice flavor of the ramen broth. Lastly, I had the gyoza and finished my lunch. I initially thought the portion might be too much, but I managed to finish it all. The shop is located next to a FamilyMart on Route 68 in Shime Town. Address: 1-3-31 Minamisato, Shime Town, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture. Phone: 092-935-1588. Business hours: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Last time it was really good and my daughter was eating normally, but this time both my wife and daughter thought the soup was too thick... At first I didn't really notice it, but as I kept eating, I thought, yeah, it's kind of thick. Also, the fried rice had a lot of pepper last time, but this time it wasn't as strong. I actually prefer it this way... However, when comparing the fried rice to the one I've been having recently, it just doesn't taste as good... I'll come back again, but I hope they can make it more consistent... Thank you for the meal! (>人<;)
