On a hot day, I started craving cold curry, so I decided to go to "Sally Curry". I ordered the cold pork keema curry and cold summer vegetable veggie curry with an additional side of eel, and asked for less rice. For my drink, I chose a cardamom-infused shochu soda. The intricate summer vegetable curry was delicious, and the eel was also very tasty. The combination of spicy alcohol and Japanese-style spicy curry was perfect. This meal really lifted my spirits. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I finally went to the popular curry shop that curry lovers have been talking about. It's called Sally Curry and they only operate for lunch. I arrived early because they tend to sell out quickly, but luckily I was able to get a seat. Here is the menu: - Two kinds of curry plate "Raku" (1,100 yen) Curry: - Blue crab broth green curry - Japanese pork keema curry Side dishes: - Seared mackerel - Okra with bonito flakes - Asparagus with Japanese-style sauce - Yellow peach The blue crab broth in the green curry was amazing! The umami of the broth was incredible. The green curry was not very typical, with a stronger broth flavor. The keema curry had a good level of spiciness and spice, and it paired well with the green curry. The basmati rice was light and easy to eat. All the side dishes were delicious too. The combination of yellow peach with the curry was surprisingly good. I was so impressed with the curry I had here. I'm glad I came to Osaka. Thank you for the meal.

Bulls eye, a bar next to Kitahama Manpuku Bakery, offers curry for lunch. They specialize in spice curry, with options like shrimp and mutton keema curry, as well as clam and venison keema curry. Lunch sets are priced at 900 yen for one type or 1000 yen for two types. The restaurant transforms into a bar at night, with a cozy counter and tables for customers to enjoy. Both the curry and the meat dishes are delicious, with a fresh and beautiful presentation. The menu changes daily, offering unique dishes like Basmati Rice, known for its fragrant aroma. The friendly owner is happy to share interesting stories and information with customers.

Feeling like curry. Here at this place, they serve Japanese dashi curry. It seems like a bar that rents out space at night. Today's curry options are Japanese pork keema and duck x hamo (conger eel) dashi keema curry. Duck and hamo sound delicious! I went for the two kinds of curry option, which includes both. The price varies depending on the side dishes, and I chose the option with all the side dishes, including seared buri (yellowtail). The duck and hamo curry leans more towards the hamo flavor. It has a fishy smell with a hint of duck aroma. The texture is slimy, which I didn't really enjoy. When it comes to fish, traditional techniques like in fish head curry are necessary... The pork keema is light and the minced meat is fine. It's okay to eat, but somehow feels lacking. Japanese dashi curry tends to be like this. The seared buri toro on top was delicious. The coconut was nice too, as coconut always tastes good. It may not necessarily go well with the Japanese style, but it was good. The okra and asparagus were like typical Japanese side dishes. The canned peaches were average. It might have been better with shellfish or crustaceans... Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Visit time: 12:50 on a weekday Waiting time: None Menu: Combination curry for 1,300 yen + Extra large size for 100 yen I tried to visit this place several times, but the timing was always off and they were closed on many occasions. Finally, I was able to make my first visit. Since it was a late visit, there were no other customers. It seems like the restaurant's operating days are not very clear even on Instagram, making it difficult to know when they are open. The curry had a generous amount of side dishes, with a large piece of yellowtail and plenty of oysters on this day. Some parts of the yellowtail were not cooked through, making them tough and difficult to eat. The keema had a slight spiciness, but it was not very spicy overall. It felt more like eating a dish with spices rather than a curry. Spiciness level: ★☆☆☆☆ Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation in advance for the SallyCurry 2nd-anniversary collaboration and visited SallyCurry in Osaka. The address is 5-4 Koshin Kitahama B1F, Chuo-ku, Osaka, and the nearest station is Kitahama Station, a 5-minute walk from the Osaka Metro. I arrived at SallyCurry a little after 11:00. The menu for the day was displayed outside the restaurant, and I was greeted by Numb, the owner. The menu included various rice and curry dishes, side dishes, toppings, and drinks. I sat at the counter seat reserved for me and ordered the Briyani with extra toppings. The collaboration between Sally and Numb was impressive, and the dishes were beautifully presented. I enjoyed the Omurice Dal, Salmon and Sea Bream White Soup Sake Kasu Curry, and Tuna and Grouper Double Broth Keema Curry. The Briyani with Amberjack was also a highlight. The side dishes complemented the curries perfectly, and the additional toppings were a delightful addition. I mixed everything together for a burst of flavors and enjoyed every bite. This collaboration between SallyCurry and Numb was a unique and delightful experience. I thanked the staff and left the restaurant feeling satisfied and grateful for the delicious meal.

A temporary curry restaurant. The concept of curry was blown away by the three types of fish curry! Today's options were lobster broth dal, salmon and sea bream white soup sake lees curry, and tuna broth x blackthroat seaperch double broth keema. My favorite was the salmon and sea bream white soup sake lees curry! It was incredibly delicious!!! The side dishes were also very elaborate, and I could tell that a lot of effort was put into them. The rice was a yellowtail biryani, making it a curry that was detailed and suited for the Japanese taste!

"Sally Curry" Kitahama This time, I would like to introduce a recommended restaurant for those who want to eat seafood curry! I always admire curry shops that handle seafood. The owner greeted me with '1300 yen is expensive, sorry', but considering the effort put into it, it's actually quite cheap! And they are running the place all by themselves! Amazing is an understatement (´Д`)✨ The curry I had this time had yellowtail in it. They also offer extra yellowtail, so it's recommended for those who want to eat a lot. I heard that they originally sublet the place, so I hope I can grow like Sally someday. It's delicious, so please try it out! ===================== Name: Sally Curry Access: 5 minutes walk from Kitahama Station Ambiance: Easy to enter alone Cost: 1300 yen ===================== #Sally Curry #Seafood Curry #Osaka #Osaka Gourmet #Osaka Lunch #Osaka Dinner #Osaka Curry #Kitahama #Kitahama Gourmet #Kitahama Lunch #Kitahama Dinner #Kitahama Curry #Tenjinbashi Gourmet #Tenjinbashi Lunch #osaka

I occasionally eat something other than ramen. I had a curry with shrimp and chicken simmered in Japanese sake, as well as duck keema curry. It was my first time trying curry since they changed the plates. This curry seemed to have been made with only Japanese sake for the broth. I've never had curry like this before. I arrived just before noon and there were seats available. There were five side dishes. I've never had curry with mackerel as a finish before. The spice level was strong, and the broth was quite complex, but it was very delicious and I couldn't stop eating it. Honestly, I want to eat more of this curry. The curry here is really interesting, so please try it. Thank you for the meal.

I finally got to visit this restaurant that I've always wanted to go to. The menu for the day was squid and plum kamasu dashi white soup curry and pork keema. The side dishes included seared mackerel, okra and bonito flakes, mustard sautéed broccoli, borscht, and peach. The visual presentation of the dishes was great and the aroma was delightful. The squid and plum curry had a strong squid flavor and the basmati rice paired well with it. The pork keema had a unique taste, possibly from miso, and was delicious. The side dishes were more like palate cleansers and not meant to be mixed together. The seared mackerel was particularly delicious with a nice fatty texture and a hint of vinegar. The complimentary clam soup was also tasty. Overall, I enjoyed the fusion of Japanese and spicy curry flavors. As I left the restaurant, I noticed a "sold out" sign, which made me realize how lucky I was to have visited in time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Arrived at 11:27 on a holiday Monday, the pole was open at 11:30. Left at 11:48. There were 2 people in the restaurant. Had a delicious dish of cream curry with squid, mentaiko, and clam dashi, along with pork keema and soft shell shrimp for 1300 yen plus 200 yen. The Osaka spice curry was even more flavorful and seemed to have leveled up. The clam dashi and pork keema were delicious, and all the side dishes were tasty. The squid ink basmati rice was a first for me. With so many great restaurants, I wonder if more will close despite being delicious. Someday, I'll say thank you for the meal again.

Featured in the September 2021 issue of "Meets Regional," I visited Kei's Bull's Eye, a kitchen cafe bar that is subletting space. Known for their unique curry dishes, this place is a challenger in the competitive curry scene of the area between Kitahama and Sakaisuji-Honmachi, centered around the Yoko-horikawa River. The menu is limited to items like Squid Ink Spice Pastry Rice, Pork Keema Curry, and Dashi Dal with side dishes like Broiled Mackerel, Okra with Bonito Flakes, Onion Pickles, and Gal and Yellow Peach Raita. The Broiled Mackerel is high-quality and would pair well with Wind Forest Yumachi / Abura-cho Sake Brewery. The balance and clever combinations of ingredients make this place comparable to other top spice curry spots in the area. Overall, a must-try for curry enthusiasts exploring the Yoko-horikawa neighborhood.

I visited #SallyCurry after a long time, about 10 months, trying multiple times by bike but never catching the right timing. The dish and presentation have changed a lot, no more star-shaped rice. The curry with clams and squid broth had a gentle and delicious flavor. The minced pork curry with transparent soup was unexpectedly tasty, and I couldn't stop eating even though I forgot to ask for less rice. It felt like a mix of Hagu-Nei and Wakatsuki's styles, with a hint of canned peaches. The dashi curry was also surprisingly good, just like I had anticipated since the first time I tried it. This place offers a variety of flavors like Akira Curry, and I can't wait to go back. #KitahamaCurry #YodoyabashiCurry #CurryBattleZone #CurryLovers #SpicyCurryOsaka #CurryInstagram #CurryGirls

I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, but I heard it was on TV. I didn't want it to be on TV. I went before it opened, no lines. The seared buri topping and seared anago were amazing! The seared buri and side dishes were incredibly delicious.

Look at this! The presence of the amberjack! Isn't it amazing how amberjack, shrimp, tuna, pork, scallops, yellow peach, broccoli, okra, and coconut coexist in this one dish? It's complex yet harmonious and wonderful! The menu is different every time, so it's always exciting to go back! ✨

It's the second day of the collaboration event between Wakatsuki and Sally Curry at the SPICESESSION to celebrate their 1st anniversary, and today I visited Sally Curry. The address of Sally Curry is 5-4 Kitahama Higashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, located a 5-minute walk from Kitahama Station on the Osaka Metro. I arrived at Sally Curry around 10:30 AM for my 11:00 AM reservation. The setup was already done for the event, and I aimed for a spot near the pole. The menu for today included three types of curry and six side dishes, with options like Squid Ink Black Spice Basmati Rice, Lamb Mince Curry with Japanese Broth, and Clam and Chicken Shichimi Hybrid Curry. The dishes were meticulously prepared and looked enticing. The flavors were a delightful mix of both shops' specialties, and each bite was a burst of deliciousness. The meal was a perfect blend of spices and textures, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After finishing the meal, I thanked the staff and bid farewell to the restaurant. It was a delightful dining experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Visited around noon on a regular day with no other customers. It was their 1st anniversary, so all toppings were just 100 yen each. I ordered a curry with clam and scallop broth, a pork keema curry, with extra toppings of yellowtail, seared salmon, and additional scallops. The total came to 1600 yen including tax. The owner, who was alone in the shop, served the food in less than 10 minutes. The dishes were beautifully presented with various toppings like seared yellowtail, seared salmon, big scallops, okra, broccoli, and diced peaches. The rice portion was around 200g of Indica rice. The seared yellowtail was rich and delicious, the seared salmon was perfectly half-cooked, and the scallops were firm and satisfying. The curry itself was a seafood soup curry with clam and squid broth, which was tasty. The pork keema didn't stand out much, but when eaten with the soup curry, it added a nice flavor. Although the price was a bit high at 1600 yen, it would be a good choice for seafood curry lovers. It was disappointing to see no other customers on their anniversary, perhaps due to the rainy weather. I hope they continue to do well.

Sally Curry offers a unique blend of flavors with their Squid and Scallop Clam Dashi Curry & Japanese Pork Keema Curry for 1300 yen. To celebrate their one-year anniversary tomorrow, they are offering half-priced toppings of Buri and Maguro Kamatoro Aburi for 100 yen each. Located near Kashmir and just a stone's throw away, this trendy spot offers a different style from legendary Strong Style. The appearance of the dishes is quite voluminous with plenty of seafood and shellfish, enhanced by spices. The Japanese Pork Keema might be a bit too sweet for some tastes.

I started the first curry of 2022 at SALLYCURRY, a seafood spice curry shop in the fierce curry battleground of Kitahama near my office. Arriving five minutes before opening, I managed to secure a spot as one of the first customers. This year, I tried the classic pork keema curry and a curry with bonito dashi and squid. As a New Year treat to myself, I added extra thick-sliced seared bonito on top, which paired wonderfully with the curry. The bonito keema curry was served separately, and it was a unique curry that I had never tried before. The spiciness was milder than usual, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. With each new customer coming in, it was clear that the shop's popularity was growing. Looking forward to another great year. Thank you for the delicious meal!
