"Kado no Uguisu" is a popular izakaya that opened on August 11th in Haruyoshi. The cozy atmosphere of the place makes you feel like you've been a regular there for years. Their signature dish, the slow-cooked "beef tendon stew" and the "Kado pork skewers" are delicious. The beef tendon stew is a must-try, made with domestic black wagyu beef tendon simmered in red miso until it's melt-in-your-mouth tender. The pork skewers are also flavorful and pairs perfectly with the spicy mustard. They offer a variety of drinks, including a lemon sour set that allows for refills and a free refill of "Gari Gari-kun Soda" if you win a prize. The "Giri Reba Tanpakushitsu" is a must-try, with perfectly cooked beef liver in sesame oil. Highly recommended! The "Ote Hane Z" is crispy and juicy, seasoned with over 10 different spices. Their "Potato Salad Uguisu" is also a hit. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy affordable drinks and delicious food in a fantastic atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a solo drink, a group gathering, or a second stop for the night, this place has you covered. "Kado no Uguisu" Address: 2-12-14 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City Phone: 092-707-3340 *Please check with the restaurant for their current business hours.

When I travel to Fukuoka, I always make sure to visit "Tsuno no Uguisu"! The cost performance is amazing, and I always end up laughing at the bill, thinking, "I had so much to drink, but it's this cheap!" The prices start from 200 yen, but it's not just cheap, the food is delicious, so I highly recommend it! The menu is very diverse, giving off the vibe of "the quintessential Fukuoka izakaya!" The best way to enjoy is to eat whatever you feel like, but if I had to pick, it would be the "beef tendon simmered in a thick broth"! The large pot with simmering beef tendon skewers is perfect with beer! Also, the lemon sour is great. After ordering the lemon sour set, you can add frozen cut lemons and extra lemon sour bottles, making it a great deal to enjoy lemon sour! For those who want to try a popular izakaya among locals in Fukuoka, this is the place to go! I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I go to Fukuoka! Thank you for the delicious meal!

There is a famous restaurant called "Yonaka" that I have always wanted to visit. Actually, there are over 30 restaurants I want to try in Fukuoka. I was walking in Haruyoshi looking for a place to eat. Luckily, my friend spotted two people leaving the restaurant, so we quickly took their seats. We got a great table and were able to take a sneaky photo of the simmered skewers. My friend is really smart for coming up with this plan. We had to order the simmered skewers because it was listed as a "must-try specialty." The beef tendon simmered skewers and pork skewers with cartilage were recommended, so we decided to try both. I prefer pork, but the beef tendon skewers were amazing. They are definitely a specialty dish. We thought about ordering the "Girireba" and other dishes, but it was a busy Saturday in Haruyoshi, so we decided to leave them for the next customers. We wanted to share our luck with someone else. The title should probably be "bush warbler," but I prefer calling it a Japanese Nightingale.

I found this place while surfing through Tabelog and thought it looked good, so I decided to make a reservation. It turned out to be a great choice in terms of atmosphere, taste, and cost performance. My husband also really liked it, saying it was a top-notch restaurant. I quickly shared the find with my friends via LINE. One friend replied, "Restaurants that serve bottled beer with Akahoshi (red star) are usually good," which made me laugh. Personally, I especially enjoyed the beef tendon stew. The seafood with sesame soy sauce and the daily assortment of colorful dishes were also delicious. The cost performance was good, and the staff were friendly. The seats were a bit cramped, but people who made reservations and enjoyed their drinks were there for a long time. Some customers just stopped by for a quick drink after a phone call or walk-in, staying for only 30 minutes to an hour. If you want to secure a seat, making a reservation is a must. The only downside was that even though I used Tabelog points, they weren't deducted. I wish they would address this in their system. When you're tipsy, you might forget about the points. Since it was a great restaurant, I'll just consider the points as cover charge. The items I ordered were: skewered pork, beef tendon stew, grilled liver, seafood with sesame soy sauce, and the daily assortment of colorful dishes (5 types). I also tried a delicious skewer whose name I forgot, green onion salt, beef tongue, draft beer, bottled beer (Akahoshi), lemon sour ice, and a few glasses of shochu on the rocks.

I went to a restaurant in Fukuoka for the first time in a while, invited by a friend. When I entered, I was guided to the counter right away. The restaurant was almost full. I ordered the doteyaki that I had been curious about, and also a side of simmered pork belly skewers. The doteyaki had a stronger miso flavor than I expected, which didn't quite suit my mild taste. But the other dishes were delicious!

I woke up at a strange time and searched for "Sakaba Tsunouguisu Haruyoshimoto Store" for late-night business. I ordered various dishes and the beef tendons were delicious, I couldn't help but order more (^○^). The sashimi was also less than 1000 yen, so reasonable. The highball was only 450 yen and the mega size was also cheap. The fact that they are open late at night is also attractive. Another great restaurant to add to my list! Thank you for the meal (^人^)

I felt like drinking alcohol in the middle of the night, so I went there. The atmosphere was great and perfect for slowly enjoying drinks. The recommended dishes I ordered were the simmered beef tendon and pork skewers, which were incredibly delicious. They paired well with the drinks, so I highly recommend ordering them.

I'm not sure if I invited the young women from the company or if I was invited, but it ended up being four of us - two young people and two older men - having a great time together at a cozy restaurant. We ordered lemon sours and draft beer to start the night off. The girls seemed to be familiar with this place, as they recommended the famous beef tendon and pork skewers. We also enjoyed a colorful sashimi platter, which the girls particularly liked. We kept ordering the frozen lemon sour set, which was a great deal with three drinks included. We added some potato salad, red Vienna sausages, and liver to our meal. The red Vienna sausages could have been octopus-shaped, and the liver could have been fresher, but they were still tasty. We also had cream cheese, smoked baby corn, seared stingray fin, and rolled omelette with dashi. To finish off the night, we ordered salt-seasoned yakisoba, which was a hit with the young people. We also enjoyed some highballs before the last call. It was a fun and enjoyable night of drinking and dining. The young women even expressed interest in visiting this place again. Overall, it was a great experience.

I went sightseeing around, did some shopping, and then went for a massage before heading out for drinks. I made a reservation here for now. It had a good mix of a casual bar atmosphere. The braised beef tendon was highly recommended and it was incredibly delicious. I also tried the grilled liver, which was good too. It may not have been perfect, but it was very cheap and had a nice ambiance, so I left very satisfied. Now, let's go explore some food stalls. Thank you for the meal! (-人-)

I wanted to have a little more to drink, so I went to this place that caught my eye the day before. It had a clean, newly opened atmosphere with a casual pub vibe. Since I was alone, I was able to squeeze in for a one-hour limit. I ordered a highball, opting for the large size since it was the same price as the small. I also tried the specialty grilled motsu (offal). It was delicious. The grilled shishito peppers were small, the chicken wings were huge! They even come with gloves. I couldn't resist ordering some cabbage too. It's a popular spot, with people coming in one after another, but it's hard to get in. There are a few counter seats and tables in the back and around. It seems like women have a slightly better chance of getting in...maybe it's a timing issue?

The bustling restaurant was very lively with a lot of noise. There was a senior staff member patiently teaching a new part-timer how to serve customers, which was heartwarming to see. It was nice to witness the customer service training in action. However, it was disappointing to see a staff member smoking inside the restaurant during their break. It would be better if they smoked in a place where customers couldn't see them.

A popular izakaya in Fukuoka with a lively atmosphere, making it easy for solo diners to enjoy. The highballs are cheap and the food is also reasonably priced, with smaller portions allowing you to try a variety of dishes even when dining alone. The pork belly and taro croquettes were delicious. The bill came to around 3,500 yen.

The calculated course. Unlike courses that seem like a mix of unnecessary items, this course keeps the customers engaged. The suji with braised pork catches the heart. The boxed sashimi is thick and satisfying. When you order sake, it comes out of Kappa's mouth. The casual and friendly service from the waitress was also pleasant. The chicken nanban, which came unexpectedly, had a consistent taste although the portion was a bit small. The meal ended with one grilled rice ball. However, the well-balanced flavors make you feel like it all went by in a flash. Balance is really important after all.

Today, we went to "Hakata Giant" for our company drinking party first, and then came here for the second round. We had eaten a lot at the first place, so we just had a light meal and drink here. It was around 11 PM when we arrived, and it was quite crowded with many female customers. Since we just had a light meal and drink this time, I would like to take my time and enjoy at the first place next time. Thank you for the meal.

For the first stop of the night in Hakata, I visited "Tsuno no Uguisu" in Haruyoshi. I hadn't been in a while, so I arrived right at the 5:00 opening. Since I have more plans, I ordered some light dishes to go with my drinks. The "Today's Color Box" and "Beef Tendon Stew" are must-try specialties at this restaurant! It's also very satisfying in terms of cost performance. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited Fukuoka with my partner, they found a restaurant they were interested in. We were a bit worried about not having a reservation, but since it was early, we were able to get in right away. The restaurant had a counter right at the entrance, with delicious-looking dishes bubbling in front of us. Of course, we had to order! The "tamatebako" assorted dish was colorful and appetizing. The seafood was also delicious, as expected in Fukuoka! The staff were friendly, and we wanted to order more, but since we wanted to try other restaurants in Fukuoka, we left when we were about three-quarters full. We definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

This is a popular uguisu-style restaurant in Haruyoshi. Even on weekdays, it's always full of customers so I recommend making a reservation! There are many interesting menu items to choose from, so it's easy to get overwhelmed! It was great to go with a big group and try a variety of dishes ^_^ The sashimi today was served on a styrofoam plate, which made it look even more delicious!

I had been curious about the nightingale at Haruyoshi's corner for a while. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 PM. The last order was at midnight, so I quickly placed my order for the dishes I wanted to try. I had the simmered beef tendon skewers, which were so tender and delicious that I could have eaten as many as I wanted. I also ordered deep-fried tofu, morokyu, and several other skewered dishes. Even though my visit was short, I was able to enjoy delicious food. I would like to come back at an earlier time to relax and dine at this restaurant again.

Enjoying a casual drink at a counter where you can drink from noon~♪ In the afternoon after lunchtime, there were only a few other groups besides us in the retro-style, Showa-era atmosphere with Showa-era songs playing. The stewed skewers were delicious with a thick miso-like flavor that went well with the drinks. The prices were reasonable, the variety of drinks was plentiful, and the lemon was generously added (forgot to take a picture). Lemon chu-hi was a great choice, especially since lemons have been expensive lately. They also offer a good deal on lemon sours. It's a nice place to snack and have a casual drink.
