I used travel support and was guided to a room with a hinoki bath and room service set. The room seemed to have been renovated for quite some time, but it had a calming atmosphere. The cuisine was imaginative and labor-intensive, making the intriguing kaiseki meal quite enjoyable. The visually appealing braised pork was tender, and the mashed potato filling was interesting. I also tried pumpkin leaves for the first time. The rice cooked in a pot was shallow and just the right amount. The dessert was also well-prepared. The hot spring was light and the bathing area lacked uniqueness, but I enjoyed it.

I visited this restaurant again with my friends after having a great time with my in-laws last time. This time we tried the "Fukuju Kaiseki" course. The meal included a variety of dishes such as lotus root salad, shrimp and plum meat, sea bream sashimi, grilled tuna, and crab rice. The food was delicious and my friend particularly enjoyed the grilled golden eye snapper. The meat in the peony hot pot was surprisingly light and didn't have any unpleasant smell. Overall, we had a great time with the delicious food, good service, and relaxing hot springs.

I went to Inunakiyama Onsen for a day trip. First, I visited Shipporyaku-ji Temple since the check-in was at 11:00. Although there is a hiking trail from Inunakiyama Onsen, my father-in-law has trouble walking so we drove there. We arrived at the inn around 11:30. We completed the national travel support procedures at the lobby and went to our room. We could use the room until 2:30 pm. The Maple Kaiseki meal was very luxurious with a lot of dishes. The Zero-Yoko rice was especially delicious, made with new rice. I even had seconds. The seasonal chestnut pudding for dessert was rich and tasty. I also added an iced coffee with a coupon and enjoyed it until the end. After a short break, we went to the bath. Since it was late, we had the large communal bath all to ourselves. We relaxed in the open-air bath overlooking the stream. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the service and hot springs were great. Overall, it was a very satisfying inn that makes me want to stay overnight.

From Kansai International Airport to the Yamate side, my favorite lukewarm hot spring dinner party with my son's family. No overnight stay as I have work tomorrow, just a night day trip plan. However, with a discount of 4000 yen on the 8800 yen fee and a 2000 yen shopping voucher, it's amazing. Where does the government get all this money to distribute? Who will pay it back?

Hot springs and lunch. The view from the large hall window overlooking the lush greenery was breathtaking. The scenery from the outdoor bath we soaked in afterwards was truly fantastical, allowing us to experience a sense of the extraordinary. The sashimi set meal costs 2000 yen, featuring a variety of sashimi including thinly sliced sea bream, head-on shrimp, bonito tataki, and lightly seared squid arranged in decorative cuts. The salad had a crispy and unique topping, and the red miso soup was also delicious, leaving us completely satisfied.

The best part about staying in a room is being able to eat slowly. It's our family's annual trip, and since our children are still young, we chose an inn with room service so we could enjoy a leisurely meal. The highlight was the Iwanakapork shabu-shabu, where you quickly dip the meat in kelp broth, wrap it in vegetables, and dip it in ponzu sauce. The sweetness of the meat's fat envelops the sweetness of the vegetables, and the light ponzu sauce tightens the flavor, making it light and easy to eat as much as you want! The room was clean and the hospitality was perfect! I highly recommend Fudoguchi-kan, a hidden gem of a country inn!

The "day trip plan" at the inn offers the same meals as the overnight guests. The "kaiseki" meal costs 5,650 yen (including tax) and comes with a detailed menu. The broth is serious and well-seasoned, with a mix of Japanese and Western elements. The use of local ingredients, creative dishes, and presentation are all appealing. The inn's approach is more free-spirited and enjoyable than traditional. The portion size is not large, and the personal touches like hot towels and customer service add to the experience. Room service, 4-hour stay, views, and hot springs all add extra value and increase satisfaction. The hot spring water quality is similar to the "Ryujin Onsen" known for its beauty benefits.

The summer is coming to an end, and there is a cool breeze in the mornings and evenings. Surprisingly close to Osaka Station, just one hour by JR Rapid and 15 minutes by car, is a sophisticated Japanese-modern inn nestled along a deep mountain valley. Enjoy a hot spring with deep greenery and a crystal-clear stream view before noon. The spring water is surprisingly slippery, smooth, and silky. The room offers a good view and the sound of cicadas echoes gently. The kaiseki meal includes a variety of dishes showcasing the chef's expertise and hospitality. The pace of serving each dish is just right, allowing you to savor each one. After the meal, take a leisurely stroll through the valley, feeling the approaching autumn. However, as soon as you descend the mountain, you are greeted by the suffocating humidity of Osaka.

I visited Inunaki Onsen for the first time with my parents. It is located in a secluded mountain area near the outskirts of Osaka. We enjoyed a day trip plan where we could stay in a calm ryokan from 11am to 3pm, soak in the famous hot springs, and savor a kaiseki meal. The kaiseki meal, called "Misaki Kaiseki," included a variety of dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, grilled dishes, fried dishes, vinegared dishes, rice, and dessert. The meal was made with seasonal and local ingredients, and we were very satisfied with the quality and quantity. The ryokan itself was a bit old-fashioned, but it had been renovated both inside and out, providing a comfortable environment. It was a luxurious experience to enjoy a meal with my parents and spend quality time together. Although I live in Osaka and may not stay overnight at Inunaki Onsen anytime soon, I can see myself coming back for a relaxing stay when I get older. The hot springs and the food were both excellent. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

There are day trip hot spring plans for ¥5,000 and ¥7,000, and today we will indulge in the ¥7,000 plan to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. The room can be used freely from 11:00 to 15:00. From the window of the room by the stream, you can see a kingfisher with a cobalt blue sparkle on its wings, which is very beautiful. Before entering the hot spring, I asked the staff for a meal, and the dishes arrived promptly. The appetizers included turkey, sea cucumber, and salmon roe, all prepared with a special touch. The sashimi consisted of tuna, yellowtail, venison, and uni, all of which were delicious. The vinegar dish was made with crab, and the tempura was served with foie gras paste. The hot pot with tofu and sea bream had a delicious broth. The grilled dish was similar to roasted pork and was tender and tasty. The steamed dish with sweet potato, duck, and yuba was comforting. The highlight was the sea bream rice cooked on solid fuel, which was flavorful with a crispy bottom. For dessert, a refreshing treat was served. It's time to soak in the hot spring now. Whether you are alone, with a partner, or at a company gathering, surrounded by nothing but mountains, streams, good water, and a kingfisher. How cool.

I had been wanting to go for a long time and finally made it! The autumn leaves were early, so the greenery was still lush, but there were cosmos flowers and pampas grass along the road. I arrived in the early afternoon without a reservation, but it was okay. While waiting for my meal to be prepared, I went to the hot springs first. The water was just right and I was able to relax in it. There was also an outdoor bath downstairs. The meals were carefully prepared and I enjoyed each dish. The room was also nice and I was able to relax comfortably.

I missed taking a picture of the menu, but this is Fudouguchi-kan, a hot spring inn located at the southernmost tip of Osaka. It's a hidden gem. You can use the room for day use with a day trip hot spring plan. The "Shoyo Kaiseki" meal costs 5000 yen (excluding tax) and the bathing fee is only 75 yen. You can enjoy the sound of the river from the open-air bath, the food is delicious, it was amazing. Thank you for the bath and the meal.

I went to a day trip hot spring with my friend. We had a private room from 11am to 3pm where we could enjoy a meal and bathing, it was a great deal! The staff greeted us with a smile at the entrance and showed us to our room even though we arrived 15 minutes early. I wore a colorful yukata to get into the hot spring mood. The outdoor bath by the stream had a fantastic view and the sound of the river was very soothing. For lunch, we had a "Shouyou Kaiseki" meal which included various dishes like deer tataki, sweet potato dumplings, and grilled sea bream. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. I would love to try their winter hot pot kaiseki next time!

I visited the Fudouguchi-kan at Inunakiyama Onsen based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. It is located about a 10-minute drive from the Uenogo Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway. The signboards make it easy to find, but the road conditions are not great, so drive carefully. Normally, on weekdays, you can enjoy a plan that includes a kaiseki meal and bathing for around 5000 yen (excluding tax and bathing tax). However, since I visited on a Sunday, I opted for the Keigetsu Kaiseki plan for 7000 yen (excluding tax and bathing tax). The menu included a variety of dishes using seasonal ingredients, all meticulously prepared and delicious. The room was clean and cozy, and the bathing area was nearby, allowing for a relaxing experience. The hot spring water was warm and of good quality. Overall, I found the experience to be very enjoyable, and considering the weekday rates starting from 5000 yen, I think it's a great deal.

I went to a day trip hot spring for the first time in a while. I reserved the Inunaki Pork Miso Nabe Plan from the official website and also requested a free shuttle bus from JR Hineno Station. Upon arrival at the restaurant, I immediately soaked in the hot spring and then leisurely started the nabe lunch. First, there was a sashimi platter and appetizers. The appetizers included miso dengaku, kinpira, and roast beef wrapped in mashed potatoes, among other varieties. And finally, the nabe arrived. It started off with a light miso flavor, but as the Inunaki pork and onions released their sweetness, it gradually became richer. The noodles soaked up the broth, making it even better. The Inunaki pork was quite thick, and when chewed, the combination of meat and fat was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

When you go up towards Mount Inunaki on Route 62, you will find this place on the left side of the road, with parking available on both sides. This is my second time using the day trip option here. The rooms have been renovated and look beautiful. Before the meal, I went to the hot spring. I'm happy to have the whole room to myself (4 hours). The view of the greenery and the clear stream from the outdoor bath is very soothing. For day trips, you need to pay extra for a yukata (300 yen). I had the Maple Kaiseki meal with matsutake mushrooms (7,000 yen). The dishes were all beautifully presented and delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. The matsutake mushrooms were of high quality and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Visited the restaurant on November 15th, 2014 to celebrate my mother's recovery. Reserved the lunch day trip plan "Maple Kaiseki (7000 yen)". Arrived around 11:30 am. First, was shown to the room for a little rest. Before the meal, refreshed in the hot springs. It's not often you get to soak in a hot spring during the day. Ahhhh, it feels so good! The river visible from the outdoor bath is clear. There were quite large carp swimming. The green mountains are beautiful. Now, time for the meal. Appetizer: North scallop with sesame vinegar dressing, radish, carrot, cucumber roll, soy sauce marinated salmon roe. Appetizers: Foie gras tofu, grilled ayu fish, roasted deer, sea urchin and sweet potato dumplings. Soup: Steamed conger eel with shrimp, ginkgo nuts, matsutake mushrooms, mitsuba, and wheat gluten. Sashimi: Tuna sashimi, salmon, sea urchin, assorted garnishes. Hot pot: Wagyu beef and matsutake sukiyaki with cabbage, onions, chrysanthemum greens, grilled tofu, and white konjac. Grilled dish: Grilled sea bream with sea urchin butter, simmered burdock root. Fried dish: Deep-fried Japanese needlefish with shiso leaf, fried green soybeans, grated yam. Vinegared dish: Sweet vinegar pickled eggplant, chrysanthemum. Rice: Mushroom rice with shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, carrots. Soup: Red miso soup with eggplant, green onions. Pickles: Pickled radish, salted mizuna greens, sweet vinegar pickled carrots. Dessert: Grape jelly, persimmon, whipped cream. Quite a lineup. It was all delicious. Was the steamed conger eel always this tasty? The grape jelly dessert was like a work of art. The pace of serving the dishes was just right. The service from the staff was also good. The room was clean. Took a walk around the neighborhood until check-out time. Refreshed by breathing the clean air in the mountains. It's nice to do this once in a while. Whether to smoke in the room or not is up to you.
