I don't usually come to this area, but I happened to visit for some errands. I had heard that the portions were big, so I was prepared when I selected the Jumbo Chicken Cutlet at the ticket machine. After a while, a staff member came to tear off the half-ticket and take my order. After a short wait, I was impressed by the size - it was as big as rumored! And all this for 890 yen is quite cost-effective. Plus, the salad and rice are refillable...what a deal! The chicken cutlet was thin but crispy and delicious. With the guaranteed satisfaction of a full stomach, good value for money, and wallet-friendly prices, I definitely want to come back here if I'm in the area again. Thank you for the meal!

This individual-run set meal restaurant offers all-you-can-eat rice, pickles, and salad (though the variety is limited) at an amazing price. The jumbo chicken cutlet is extremely large, and the fried chicken I had before had a homemade taste and was delicious. During lunchtime, the place is packed with middle-aged men from nearby factories looking to have a hearty meal. I later found out that the restaurant is operated by a company called Bistro Group. They also have Hokka Hokka Tei franchises, but I believe this restaurant operates with its own unique recipes. The jumbo chicken cutlet I had this time costs 890 yen and fills you up completely.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for a while, and today I finally made it. It's a small personal business serving set meals, with a relaxed atmosphere inside. I arrived on my bicycle right at 11 o'clock, but it seemed like they opened at 10:30? I could have sworn they opened at 11. I went in and bought a meal ticket from the machine near the entrance, choosing the popular "Chicken Nanban Set Meal for 890 yen." I handed over my ticket, got some salad, pickles, and water, and sat down to wait. The salad had four types, which was decent, and the pickles were just daikon radish. The dressing options were ponzu and sesame. The previous customer was leaving as I arrived, so I was the only one there, and it took about 10 minutes for my food to be served. The large crispy chicken tempura with Nanban sauce was delicious, especially with the tartar sauce on top. The rice disappeared quickly, but you can get seconds at the salad bar. I ended up having three servings of rice. If the chicken Nanban and rice were all-you-can-eat, it would be great value for money. I forgot to check the opening hours, but it seems they open at 10:30. There is parking space for a few cars in front of the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

It was at Kawachiya~ I had been curious about it for a while. I decided to go check it out since it had a surprisingly high rating on Tabelog. The parking lot was a bit tricky to get into, with heavy traffic on the road. Inside the restaurant, there was a large menu board and a ticket machine at the entrance. I was drawn to the Stamina Boosting Full Stomach Yakiniku Combo. Salad and rice were all-you-can-eat. My wife went for the safe choice of tonkatsu. The vegetable salad for all-you-can-eat was a bit disappointing. My wife's tonkatsu looked average. Then my Full Stomach Yakiniku Combo set arrived. The aroma of garlic sauce was enticing. The thinly sliced meat was delicious and the rice was slightly firm, which I didn't mind. Next, I tried the steak with grated radish sauce. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and lacked flavor, unlike the thinly sliced meat. I tried a piece of my wife's tonkatsu, which was tasty. I made a mistake. My wife didn't like the rice. Our opinions on the rice were divided. I probably won't be visiting again.

It's Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm and I'm so hungry that I can't think straight. The weather is turning gloomy with a chilly overcast sky, so I decided to head to a nearby udon restaurant called Hana Udon. However, before reaching there, I noticed a familiar sign of another restaurant where I had been once with my colleagues during lunchtime. This time, the place seemed quiet as it was an odd hour. The parking lot had a few cars parked perpendicular to the road in front of the store. Inside, the menu was displayed with photos lined up in front, and there was a ticket machine on the right. I chose the Jumbo Chicken Cutlet set meal. With only a few other customers, my order arrived in about 7 minutes. The Jumbo Chicken Cutlet was indeed huge, almost the size of an adult male's foot. The taste was decent but a bit on the bland side. I noticed that the cutlet was quite flat and lacked thickness or juiciness. You could have unlimited rice and salad. The service was friendly and efficient. This meal was a lifesaver for my extreme hunger that day. The Jumbo Chicken Cutlet set meal cost 750 yen.

Recently, I feel like there is quite a bit of popularity around chain restaurants serving hearty Japanese set meals. This particular place doesn't seem to be a chain. They operate with a system where you purchase a meal ticket from a vending machine. Salad and miso soup are free. The menu mainly consists of deep-fried and grilled fish set meals, and the customers are almost 100% male. I ordered the safe option of a deep-fried chicken set meal to avoid holding up the line. It took a bit of time after ordering, which also made me think it's not a chain restaurant. The deep-fried chicken set meal was quite filling. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned. It was a satisfying meal.

Today's lunch in Kadoma before work (o^^o) The set meals are plentiful (^ ^) The most popular one is the Chicken Nanban Set for 740 yen, which comes with salad, rice, and free refills. It includes a large piece of chicken and plenty of tartar sauce with a thick Nanban vinegar sauce. Plus, you can add a drink for an additional 100 yen. You also get a free ticket for your next visit. The daily chicken cutlet set next to it was also very filling. Perfect for when you want a hearty meal. Next to Gohan, 072-873-5400, 3-5 Nitta Asahimachi, Daito City, Osaka Prefecture.

Grilled mackerel set meal: The mackerel was delicious with a good amount of fat. It's a typical casual dining place, but the set meal includes all-you-can-eat rice (self-service). The salad is also all-you-can-eat, but the variety is limited. It seems like a chain restaurant, but I think they maintain a consistent level of taste.

This is my first visit. All the menu items come with plenty of side dishes and you can also have unlimited refills of salad and rice, so it's recommended for when you're really hungry. The rolled omelette looked delicious, so I might try it next time.

I highly recommend the "Chicken Nanban set meal" for 750 yen, it's very filling! The rice and salad are served buffet-style (for set meals only), which is also appreciated. The staff's service was great, and I definitely want to visit again.

There are many set meals available, and it gets crowded during lunchtime but the turnover is good. The jumbo chicken cutlet is thin and some reviews say it's too thin, but although it is indeed thin, it was not as bad as expected. Next time, I will try the fish set meal.

On the way from Osaka Station to Nara, I spotted a sign offering a 50 yen discount on grilled salted mackerel, so I jumped into the shop (laughs). First, I bought a meal ticket at the vending machine. Since I already knew what I wanted, I chose the grilled salted mackerel set meal, which was the first option in the top left corner. I sat at a table and waited for my order to arrive. While waiting, I enjoyed some salad and pickles. The salad included cabbage, seaweed, carrots, and radish, and it was all-you-can-eat. Just then, the grilled mackerel arrived. It was plump and delicious. Grilled salted mackerel is definitely a must-have in the fall.

On Sunday, my second daughter had a cheer dance recital. Unfortunately, it was raining, so I first dropped off my daughter at the venue in the morning. On the way to pick up the rest of the family for the recital in the afternoon, we decided to have lunch here. The restaurant is located along the road from Tsurumi Street to Hankai Road, and I had been curious about it for a while. It's a regular diner, so it didn't have much appeal, but we finally made our first visit. There is a ticket machine near the entrance where you purchase your meal ticket. The set meals range from the 500 yen to 700 yen range, with about 30 different options including Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. In a corner of the restaurant, there is a small salad bar and a rice warmer with quite tasty rice that you can have unlimited refills of. I ordered the pork cutlet set meal. The pork cutlet tasted as expected, but the meat was thick and satisfying. Considering the all-you-can-eat rice and salad, it feels like a better deal compared to fast food restaurants or family restaurants. Thank you for the meal!
