TAI THAI. I was brought here by a friend for the first time about 15 years ago, I think? It's been so long that I've forgotten (laughs). I've been here countless times since then. The food here is just delicious. I hardly ever go wrong. If I do, it might be because I just don't like that particular dish. I always eat sticky rice, papaya salad, green curry, glass noodle salad, stir-fried water spinach, spring rolls, occasionally fresh spring rolls, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, and more. I rotate through my favorites and enjoy them all. I usually drink Chang beer from a bottle to get into the Thai mood. This time, I decided to try something different and had crab curry, stir-fried pork with something, stir-fried thick noodles similar to Pad Thai, and of course, papaya salad. Japanese people seem to love crab curry, don't they? I'm not a big fan, though. I tried it this time on a whim, but it's just not my thing. Well, it's all a matter of personal preference. The stir-fried pork was different too. I usually have larb, but this time I tried the basil stir-fried pork. It was delicious with shallots, basil, and coriander adding great flavor. The noodles had the same seasoning as Pad Thai but were a different type. It was definitely a good choice. The food here is truly delicious.

I ordered Kaopat Gapao Nuagapao Rice, but it turned out to be Kaopat Gapao Pramuk with beef instead of squid! The Gapao Rice had a nice aroma of herbs mixed with the unique scent of fish sauce. It had a sweet and salty flavor from the fish sauce and a refreshing taste from the herbs. It had a hint of spiciness, but not too overwhelming. The Gaularu Gaularu was a soup with fish sauce and chili as the base, with pork offal added. It was bigger than I expected, about twice the size of a ramen bowl. The soup had a strong aroma of fish sauce and was sweet with a hint of acidity, along with a spicy kick from the chili. Chopped nuts added a nutty flavor, and the variety of pork offal provided depth to the soup. It was spicy, but not as intense as some other dishes I've tried. As I continued eating, I couldn't stop sweating from the spiciness.

This is a Thai cuisine specialty restaurant located on the first floor of a building across the road from Namba City South Building. I visited this place about 7-8 years ago, so this is a revisit. Being in the bustling area of Osaka Minami where eateries are abundant, the Thai cuisine here naturally is of a high standard. The dishes prepared by the Thai chef have a unique aroma of herbs and a well-spiced flavor that is just like the authentic taste. The food was consistently delicious. The menu offers a range from classic street food to course meals at a relatively reasonable price. The slightly old-fashioned atmosphere also adds to the authentic Thai feel of this longstanding restaurant. I will definitely visit again when I feel like going to Thailand~

I went to Thai Thai for dinner. I had been there for lunch before, so I didn't drink alcohol, but this time I enjoyed some drinks. They had a variety of tropical flavored drinks like coconut and pineapple, which was fun. I especially liked the fresh spring rolls. The water spinach was also good. Each dish had a decent amount, so it's best to go with multiple people. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The flavors were very authentic!! Instead of boiled chicken, I chose fried chicken for the Khao Man Gai. The chicken is topped with a dark sauce that is sweet and delicious. They also provided a separate sauce to pour over the rice. The taste of ginger is strong and makes you want to eat more and more rice. I finished it in no time. I also ordered the chicken Pad Thai, which was also delicious! There are many other dishes I want to try, so I definitely want to go back! This is the perfect restaurant for Thai food lovers!

My husband recommended a Thai restaurant called Thai Thai, so we decided to give it a try. It is located next to Nankai Namba Station, which is very convenient. We went during lunchtime and ordered from the lunch menu. One thing to be aware of is that the lunch menu is cheaper than ordering individual items. The lunch set, which includes a main dish and soup, was in the 900 yen range, while individual items were over 1000 yen. So, be careful not to end up paying more by ordering individually. This time, we tried the special lunch menu which included green curry, gapao rice, and kao man gai. The special menu also came with a salad, grilled chicken, and spring rolls. The salad was quite spicy, and the spring rolls came with chili sauce. The soup had a mild flavor with cucumber-like ingredients. The green curry was creamy but quite spicy, with chicken, bell peppers, and eggplant as the main ingredients. The gapao rice was also a bit spicy, and the kao man gai was delicious with a ginger-flavored sauce. This spicy and flavorful meal is perfect for summer. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's been a while since I last visited. The atmosphere inside the restaurant has changed quite a bit, and I was surprised! It has become a bit more sophisticated and stylish. Personally, I liked the previous bustling atmosphere with a touch of Thai vibe. The taste is still delicious as always. While Krung Thep is famous for Thai cuisine in Namba, I think this place is just as good. In terms of location, this place is more convenient. When it comes to Thai cuisine, it's all about enjoying it with a cold beer and some Som Tam. The Isan sausage was also excellent.

For some reason, I only took this photo, but the Pad Thai, Khao Pad, and spicy Tom Yum Kung were all delicious. The owner doesn't speak much Japanese, but is very kind and serves the food quickly. The menu is extensive, so it's good to order a set lunch and an extra dish to share with someone to enjoy a variety of flavors. I went on a weekday at 1 pm, and there were several solo female diners, so it seems popular. I definitely need to go back!

On Sunday lunchtime, I went to Nambra. There were more tourists than usual. The famous restaurants had long lines, so I decided to try this place which seemed less crowded. Inside the restaurant, there was a lot of Thai language being spoken, giving it a more authentic Thai feel. The menu had a variety of options, from affordable set menus to traditional Thai dishes. I ordered the "Bamee Nam A Set for 980 yen", which came with Thai-style noodles, Thai-style chicken, and spring rolls. First, I tried the Thai-style chicken and spring rolls. They were served with a sweet and savory sauce, which really brought out the Thai flavors. The noodles were quite bland, which is typical of Thai food as it is meant to be seasoned at the table with condiments like fish sauce, vinegar, and chili. I added three servings of each and the dish transformed into a delicious Thai-style meal. The egg noodles were a bit too firm and powdery for my liking. I should have ordered the Khao Soi instead. Overall, I enjoyed my meal today. Thank you for the delicious food.

Pad Thai Lunch ¥980 Khao Man Gai Lunch ¥980 Both Pad Thai and Khao Man Gai are quite watery. The rice is mashed to about half the consistency of ohagi, and the Pad Thai is also very watery. I couldn't finish it until the end. It was different from other reviews, so I was surprised (^_^;)

I went to a hidden gem Thai restaurant around noon and there were several regular customers dining alone. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch set, which came with Pad Thai, soup, salad, and grilled chicken. The Pad Thai noodles were chewy and seasoned perfectly for Japanese taste. The portion was generous and the flavors were delicious, I was very satisfied.

I made a reservation for lunch at 11:30. The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark... it looked like a Thai restaurant with a Thai chef. I ordered the Khao Man Gai lunch set with a drink included. The Khao Man Gai was quite flavorful. The drink was hot Thailand tea, which had a slightly bitter taste... made me crave something sweet.

It was basically delicious. I don't particularly like Thai food, but I decided to give it a try. Maybe it's tailored for Japanese people? I enjoyed it, but some dishes were too spicy for me to eat. Thai food spiciness is no joke. Be careful when ordering, haha.

Many people dining alone, so I think this restaurant has a lot of fans! I ordered the Gapao lunch, which had just the right amount of spiciness and was delicious with rice. My companion ordered the green curry, which came in a cute pot and had a strong coconut flavor. The restaurant is a bit away from the station, so it's a hidden gem. It has become one of my favorite restaurants, and I want to go back many times.

Gapao lunch soup has a unique Southeast Asian aroma that brings peace to the heart. The Gapao here always has the same reliable taste. It could use a bit more spiciness though. I went to a Thai restaurant called Thai Tai near Namba CITY. I wanted to eat Chicken Rice at Liang Ya Lou, but it was closed on Wednesdays. The restaurant is cozy and located on the first floor of a building. I started with Oolong tea, which was delicious as always. For the main dish, I ordered the Bunnim Pappong Curry with soft-shell crab and egg. It was quite tasty. Although it lacked the elegance of Chediluan, the egg with plenty of crab broth was really good. For dessert, I ordered the classic Thai dish, Khao Man Gai, which was delicious. The quality of the chicken was good, and it was collagen-rich. When you pour the special sauce over it, the flavor explodes. It's so tasty. I think it's best to eat what people in hot countries eat during the hot season. I plan to revisit Thai cuisine again this summer.

I went to Namba to buy a wristwatch, but spent more time in Tennoji, so I decided to have lunch first. I felt like having Asian cuisine after a long time, so I searched on Tabelog and found TAITHAI Namba Honten, a Thai restaurant. It's located next to Namba CITY Minami-kan, but it's a bit hidden so it's hard to find. It was labeled as a stand bar, but there were sofa table seats and a counter. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter. There were many Thai souvenirs displayed on the counter. The lunch menu starts from 880 yen. Since there were Thai words written on the menu, I wondered if there were many Thai customers. Drinks and extra portions were each 120 yen. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I decided on the Kaomangai lunch set (880 yen). I didn't opt for the extra portion as I've been eating too much lately. In addition to the lunch menu, they also offer a la carte dishes like Thai-style udon and ramen. During lunchtime, rice is served as a complimentary side, which also looked delicious. Kaomangai is a Thai-style chicken rice dish. It comes with seasoned rice and boiled chicken. The seasoning is mild, but it becomes just right when you add condiments. There were two types of condiments, and I found the sweet sauce more delicious than the spicy one. It can get too strong if you pour too much, so it's best to add a little at a time. The portion of rice wasn't too large, but it was satisfying enough. Those with a bigger appetite might want to opt for the extra portion. It's a bit hard to find, but I recommend it.

I visited for the first time. Overall, the dishes are on the spicy side, but I like spicy food so I found it delicious. The staff are Thai and speak Japanese fluently, and their customer service was excellent. They explain the dishes in detail. They also offer a ladies' night plan with all-you-can-drink option, and the prices are reasonable. I would like to visit again in the future. ✨

The authentic taste of Thailand. It's always delicious whenever I come here. Today, I had Khao Man Gai, Som Tam, Kuay Teow Tom Yum Goong, and Khao Niew. The fragrance of jasmine rice in Khao Man Gai is amazing. The texture of green papaya in Som Tam is fantastic. Everything was delicious and satisfying.

Last year, I hardly did any, but this year the series will continue. Starting with a straightforward topic, the 2021 Meat & Seafood 30 Match series began with a focus on meat (beef & pork) and fish. Following that, after a long time, a series on "Enchanting Pancakes" (around 20 episodes) will run concurrently with "Chicken 10 Match" → "Roast Beef Bowl for a Week." After the "500 Yen Lunch 30 Match," the next series will likely be "GoTo Government Cafeteria Revival." The Chicken 10 Match will not include "fried chicken." The 10th match of the Chicken 10 Match will be at TAITHAI Namba Main Store, a Thai cuisine specialty store (Osaka, Namba). I parked at a nearby coin parking. It cost 220 yen for 60 minutes. Just like when we came to the Clear Noodle Shop, we parked here. We arrived at the shop around 2 pm on a weekday. We were able to enter smoothly. Besides us, there were 3 other groups, but we were each seated at separate tables. The server quickly brought us the menu and some water. Since we had already decided on our order, my boyfriend got the Kappa Omelet Lunch and I got the Kaopat Lunch. In a few minutes, we received our soup and the appetizers for the Kaopat Lunch (salad, Thai-style grilled chicken, fried spring rolls). Then came the Gapao Rice, followed by the Kaopat (Thai-style fried rice). The soup had a gentle flavor with the sweetness of the vegetables. It contained minced pork, Chinese cabbage, carrots, and more. The fried spring rolls were a bit cold as they seemed pre-made, but they tasted delicious when dipped in sweet chili sauce. The salad had tuna mayo corn on top of shredded cabbage and carrots. The Thai-style grilled chicken had a soy sauce flavor. The Gapao had plenty of meat and a mild flavor, perhaps tailored for Japanese taste. Adding fish sauce gave it a Thai twist. However, be careful not to add too much salt. The Kaopat was initially a light-flavored fried rice. Squeezing lemon over it gave it a refreshing taste. Adding fish sauce made it even better. It was a delightful meal with a nice presentation.
