I had lunch with a client from out of town at the first-floor restaurant of Hotel New Otani in Osaka Business Park. I ordered a lunch set where you can choose your main dish, and without hesitation, I selected the roast beef bowl, which was the chef's recommendation for the day. The set also included salad, soup, bread, dessert, and coffee/tea that you could freely take from the buffet corner. Despite it being lunchtime, I was able to relax and enjoy my meal without worrying about time. While I was getting my salad, the main dish arrived. I accidentally dipped bread in my rice dish, but all the side dishes were delicious and showed the hotel's commitment to quality. The roast beef bowl was made with tender beef, egg yolk, seaweed, sesame seeds, and a wasabi flavor, which really impressed me with its high level of taste. I definitely want to come back for dinner as well.

I had an American clubhouse sandwich. It was a toast with bacon, tomato, lettuce, chicken, and cucumber. When I took a bite, the fresh tomato juice overflowed in my mouth. The tomato really stood out. There was plenty of chicken in it, so it was satisfying to eat. If I had to point out something, the plastic toothpick used to hold the sandwich together felt a bit like a fast-food restaurant touch and didn't quite match the atmosphere of the place. The sides included pickles, potatoes, and onion rings. The potatoes were not salted, so you could sprinkle some salt on them or use the ketchup and mustard provided on the side. The standout was the onion rings, which had a crispy coating similar to tempura. They were deliciously crispy. I entered the restaurant around 11 am, and it was not crowded, so I could relax and enjoy my meal. The spacious interior and the staff's service had that New Otani quality. The atmosphere at that time didn't seem to mind lingering, so I wanted to order coffee and stay a bit longer after eating, but unfortunately, I had to leave quickly due to other commitments. I regret not taking more time to enjoy the place.

I stayed overnight and had breakfast at the buffet. There were a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and all of them were delicious. In particular, the grilled salmon and mackerel were tasty. The ochazuke (rice in tea) had a variety of toppings and was very delicious. The coffee after the meal was satisfying, and I ended up feeling full from the morning meal.

I used the "Welcome to Osaka" campaign twice this year. If you stay at this hotel, I recommend the Osaka Castle Park side. The night view and the greenery of Osaka Castle Park in the morning are both beautiful and I really like the unusual scenery. The breakfast at the Satsuki restaurant in the morning is served in a spacious seating area with attentive service. The food is delicious, of course. The left side of the restaurant serves Western dishes, while the back right corner serves Japanese dishes. I was seated at the sofa in the middle. I was curious about the curry that was served for breakfast in Katano, so I decided to try the beef curry here. The large chunks of meat were delicious. I also had salad and a plain omelette. I planned to finish with bacon, sausages, potatoes, and fruit, but I noticed takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba at the Japanese corner. Since I had yakisoba last night, I skipped it and tried the takoyaki and okonomiyaki. It's nice to have these in the morning while watching people walking outside the window. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

2023.5【Crowdedness】Visited with 2 people on a Sunday around 1:00 pm, almost full. Returned around 2:30 pm and found seats available, so we went to the pastry shop next door to choose cakes and then sat down.【Payment method】PayPay【Time from ordering to serving】About 5 minutes【Items Ordered】Prices include tax⚫︎ Blended coffee (iced) 1100 yen⚫︎ Basque cheesecake 990 yen - Has a strong cheese flavor, moist and melts in your mouth nicely.⚫︎ Mont Blanc 935 yen - Contains small chestnuts inside, not too sweet and delicious.⚫︎ Super Opera Le Gér 1760 yen - A beautiful multi-layered cake! Rich chocolate flavor, with both bitterness and sweetness. A 15% service charge was added on top of the above prices.【Atmosphere/Service】The service was just right, no issues.【Impressions】It would be nice if there was a better system in place to check for available seats before going to the pastry shop to choose cakes... When I mentioned that I wanted to eat cake at the pastry shop next door, they explained that I could if there were seats available, but it would have been better if they had told me to choose a cake at that time... Going back and forth was a bit frustrating, which somewhat diminished the enjoyment of the cakes. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the Izumi Hall Open House at Tozai Sumitomo Life (backyard tour, free admission, no reservation required) with a mini concert. For dinner, I went next door to Hotel New Otani. Based on past reviews, I realized that I don't really remember what I ate last year (bitter smile). It was quite delicious. A young server quietly recommended the grilled beef (sirloin offcuts), which is actually Japanese sirloin. The sushi was made with the same quality ingredients as a proper sushi restaurant. The ice cream had plenty of vanilla beans. It's a good idea to ask for recommendations at the buffet. Everything I ate was delicious. I ordered the NOC/NOL buffet for 6,900 yen (tax included) (free for NOL members, registration is free). Non-member price: 7,400 yen per person. Thank you for the meal. Izumi Symphonietta Osaka.

Staying at Hotel New Otani Osaka for a girls' night out♪ The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, at the restaurant on the 1st floor called 'SATSUKI'. This time, it was a plan with breakfast included, but the "amount spent" is only for the breakfast itself, which cost ¥4,000 excluding tax. They had a breakfast buffet focusing on delicious and healthy options. Instead of the standard use of disposable gloves due to COVID-19, they had a system where tongs were used once and then placed in a used container, which was great to see. The selection of food was really delicious. I started with the Western menu as I wanted to try the pancakes♪ The potage was rich and delicious, and the yogurt was creamy and smooth. The salad had a great variety of ingredients like ham and cheese, with tasty dressings. The omelet was fluffy and made in front of us by the chef, and I chose a cheese-only filling. The ham was of high quality and very tasty. The pancakes I was looking forward to were pre-cooked, but still delicious! The croissant was crispy and had a lovely buttery flavor, while the Amaou strawberry Danish was surprisingly tasty with a hint of strawberry aroma. I also wanted to try some Japanese dishes♪ They had onigiri, ohitashi, lemon simmered sweet potatoes, mentaiko rolled omelet, and grilled salmon. The onigiri corner had bite-sized rice balls made with warm rice, and I chose mentaiko and umeboshi fillings. The grilled fish at the buffet was thick and juicy, really delicious! I also had more pancakes and coffee, which made me feel happy and satisfied. Overall, I think this is the best hotel breakfast buffet I've had in my life. The New Otani's breakfast is my favorite, and I would even consider going there just for breakfast even if I'm not staying at the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful meal☺︎

This time, I used it for LUNCH. I made a reservation for the Osaka water bus set plan at 13:00, but I arrived a little early and the service was good, so I was quickly guided to my seat. However, I was disappointed that there was no bread roll or baguette, and they were only provided towards the end of the main course. I really liked the corn soup here, but today's soup was vegetable soup! Next time, even if it's at an extra cost, I'll eat it! The dessert selection was limited due to the late time, but the lemon pound cake was moist and had a refreshing aftertaste, which was delicious. However, when I entered, the buffet section was limited, and my companion took the last chawanmushi, and we were told it was sold out. If it's within the time frame, I would like them to bring out more. Therefore, I gave it 3 stars this time, but I will definitely come back again (laughs).

When I woke up this morning, I could see Osaka Castle from my left hand. As the sun rose, it shone with a golden glow. I enjoyed this moment in my room before heading to breakfast. Last night, I dined at Chugokuan on the 3rd floor, while this morning, SATSUKI was on the 1st floor. After temperature checks and alcohol disinfection, I was seated. There was a Japanese cuisine section on the right and a Western buffet on the left, with a view of Osaka Castle and Osaka-jo Hall from the window. Since it was past 8 o'clock, the seating was spacious and not crowded. I tried to eat lightly this morning to avoid overeating during my stay. I chose the Western option, starting with orange juice, milk, corn soup, plain omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, and salad. I intended to finish with fruits, but the smell of curry being eaten nearby tempted me. I ended up having the curry, which had a nice spicy kick and tender meat. I also had coffee served to my table. I left the breakfast table feeling full and satisfied. After this, I plan to take the metro from Business Park Station to Shinsaibashi for some shopping at Takashimaya before possibly enjoying lunch at a nice restaurant along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Osaka Castle.

Before the live show at Osaka-Jo Hall, I wanted to eat slowly so I visited this restaurant. It was cold, so I ordered the onion gratin soup. It was just as I imagined - hot, with the sweetness of the onions, the aroma of the bread, and the cheese, all delicious. Still craving warm food, I ordered the limited-time gratin. Again, it was as hot as expected. The gratin was delicious without needing any explanation. When it comes to hotel restaurants, you can always count on them for delicious food and a sense of reassurance!

On a regular day around 1:00 PM, the café restaurant on the first floor of the Osaka Business Park Hotel New Otani was bustling. The entrance was very spacious, as was the interior of the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed, with ample seating that was comfortable. The chairs were cozy to sit in. The décor had a nostalgic Showa era feel, with bright lighting near the windows and a darker ambiance towards the back.
The menu offered a wide variety of options, but the prices were on the higher side due to it being a hotel restaurant.

The cappuccino was average, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel drink.
Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

After a two and a half year absence, I visited this place for a coffee break before lunch. I wanted to go to SATSUKI LOUNGE, but they only had a buffet service, so I ended up here. It was a bit chaotic with the staff preparing for the lunch buffet, but still better than a regular café. The blended coffee (hot) was delicious!

I stayed at Hotel New Otani after a live performance at Osaka-Jo Hall and had breakfast there in the morning. It was the most delicious hotel breakfast I've had recently, and I thought it was truly New Otani quality. Every dish was tasty, but the omelette cooked by the chef right in front of me was especially delicious! It was so fluffy and tasty that I ended up eating two. I was seated by the window and was happy to see Osaka-Jo Hall, where the concert was held the day before, from the hotel window. I would love to stay here again for another live performance and have breakfast here!

It's been how many years because of Corona?? They had Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Italian dishes. The Italian master, Chef Morimoto Katsumi, supervised it. There were dishes like Chef-supervised "Spaghetti Amatriciana" and "Veal Cutlet". I don't think they serve those kinds of dishes at Michelin-starred restaurants. (laughs) I only had spaghetti. It was quite delicious. It seems they have an outlet at Hankyu Department Store, so I'll go there next time. I ate a lot of vegetable dishes. The roast beef and others were quite tasty as well. ♪♪ I love the desserts here too. ♪♪ It's no wonder that former Prime Minister S. is a regular here. ●What I ordered was the buffet 6,900 yen (including tax and 10% service charge). This day was a breakfast meeting. I headed to the famous Hotel New Otani Osaka's "SATSUKI" near Osaka Castle Park Station. They offer a buffet-style breakfast, and even guests not staying at the hotel can enjoy it. The price was ¥4,400 per person including tax. Credit cards and QR code payments are accepted. Exciting! Omelette station - definitely had to get one. I asked for ham and cheese in mine. There was also a hot pot corner. Truly impressive. Exciting and fun. Omelette with ham and cheese - what a luxurious breakfast. The ham was delicious! The cheese was delicious! The omelette was perfect! So tasty. Cold shabu-shabu salad, scrambled eggs, New Otani special curry. The curry was especially delicious. Rich and flavorful. Mango juice, lemon detox water, hot dogs, ham, pancakes, and more. Each dish was of high quality. Much tastier than my usual business hotel breakfast. Of course (laughs). The hot pot was also amazing. The broth was great. Visitors to Osaka would be delighted. So tasty. I also got some Japanese dishes! Simmered meat, cod roe, negitoro, plum, rolled omelette with mentaiko, salt-grilled salmon, miso soup. Wow, amazing. Seriously amazing. Finished with yogurt, bread, and apple juice. Extremely satisfied. Truly amazing. There's no other way to describe it. Extremely satisfied. Is it worth it to eat so much for the price? Honestly, it's probably worth it. It's a very elegant experience from morning. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Today's breakfast cost ¥4,400.

I used it as a substitute for a cafe because I had other errands to run. I had a kale smoothie and Japanese-style pasta for a quick bite. The evening buffet starts at 5 p.m., so the menu seemed simple, a little different from the usual. There were many children because it's summer vacation. The food was delicious, as always!

This time, I visited "SATSUKI" in Osaka. It is located on the first floor of Hotel New Otani. After having a meal at the hotel, I felt like stopping by a café, so I visited this place. I ordered the Cake Set for 1,750 yen, which was a simple strawberry shortcake set. The cake was just right in sweetness and had a delicious taste that didn't linger. The staff's service was excellent, making it a place I would want to visit again and again. The hotel staff also provided top-notch hospitality. I am very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This morning's breakfast was at Hotel New Otani Osaka, SATUKI American Breakfast (¥4000 ⇒ ¥3000). You can choose from boiled, scrambled, or omelette for the egg dish, and also choose the filling for the omelette. This time, I chose cheese! You can also choose between sausage or bacon, and bread or rice. The omelette was beautifully made, fluffy and delicious. The bread assortment included toast, Danish, and chocolate Danish, all of which were tasty. The whipped butter was a perfect match. It was a luxurious breakfast experience. Thank you for the meal!

Buffet breakfast is a must at Hotel New Otani Osaka. Welcome to Osaka Campaign! You can enjoy the buffet breakfast for only 3,000 yen instead of the usual 4,400 yen by using Osaka Pay Points, making it practically free. Whether the breakfast is buffet style or not depends on the crowd situation. Reservations are not unlimited, so it is recommended to arrive early in the morning. The busiest time is around 7 am, with about five groups waiting outside by 9 am. The highlight item is the brown rice omelet. I recommend the ham and cheese combination. The maple pancake is a single variety, different from dinner, so be aware. The bread section takes time to warm up, but the croissants are crispy and recommended. The breakfast buffet includes juice, with mango and apple being recommended. The sweetest fruit is the banana, and the fruit cocktail includes pineapple, pear, and apricot. There are three types of cheese available, and the dried fruits are a rare find. The hotel-made bouillon soup has a rich flavor and natural vegetable taste, which I had multiple servings of. The recommended item for breakfast is the Japanese food corner, offering a variety of traditional Japanese side dishes. The honey plum was delicious, along with beef stir-fry, fried dumplings, and grilled mackerel. The udon noodles had a firm texture and were customizable with beef and spicy cod roe. The steamed egg custard contained clams and shrimp, and the miso soup had a rich broth. You can choose your own ingredients, such as mushrooms on this day. The Chinese congee was flavored with chicken broth and ginger. Towards the end, many people were relaxing with drinks. Overall, breakfast seemed more lively than dinner, and the cost performance was good. It was a great decision to visit.

Welcome to Hotel New Otani Osaka! We visited during the Osaka Welcome Campaign and got a great deal on a dinner buffet plan. The sushi was bite-sized and delicious, especially the tuna. The tempura was not freshly fried, but still tasty. The Chinese corner had delicious shrimp chili and mapo tofu. The bisque ramen mentioned on the website was no longer available. The beef fillet bowl with onsen egg was just right, not too heavy. The appetizer section had a lot of sashimi. The collaboration menu with the Italian chef was average. The roast beef was served freshly cut. The desserts were all subtly sweet, with the matcha tiramisu being the best. The fruit cocktails were a nice palate cleanser. The fresh fruit corner had watermelon and grapefruit. The ice cream flavors were rich. We set our anniversary on the official website and received a tiramisu as a gift. Drinks included coffee, iced tea, hot green tea, and hot tea leaves were free at the self-serve corner. Compared to before the pandemic, the number of seats was reduced by half, giving a less lively atmosphere. With fewer people, there seemed to be more pre-made dishes, lowering the overall quality. The price of 7000 yen per person felt a bit high.

Napoleon pie - I was surprised by the strawberry slices in the center, which were thinly sliced strawberries placed on top later. Inside the cream, there are whole strawberries added separately. This was carefully calculated so that the pie does not become watery due to the moisture from the cut strawberries. The pie crust was also thinly coated with jam to prevent moisture from transferring to the cream. The size was amazing, it was over two cigarette boxes in volume. The service was excellent as well. The staff at my table seemed to be in training, but their smile, posture, and attention to detail were very impressive. I felt that being able to provide an experience where you can enjoy delicious food in a delicious way is a wonderful thing.
