I bought a fruit daifuku from my favorite shop "Isshindo" next to "Delicious", but I was also drawn to buy from Delicious next door! You can choose the size of the whole, so I chose a small one for now. Since it's summer, I also bought a cooling bag. The small one costs 2,000 yen, and it's about 12 centimeters in diameter. This is a flavor I really like! It's delicious!! I tried a cheesecake I've never had before! I was surprised by the texture and taste. The cheese part is not very sweet, and it doesn't taste like the typical cheese in cheesecakes. They use a cheese called Brie de Meaux, which has a smooth and bouncy texture, with an elegant cheese flavor. I'm not familiar with cheese, so I can't describe it well, but it's more similar to Camembert cheese. The tart part is moist and soft, with a glossy finish from the apricot jam, which is quite sweet. Maybe it's a bit too much jam, but it's still okay because it's gooey and you can adjust it yourself. However, I wonder why I didn't take a picture with a white plate. Maybe I should buy it again in Shin-Osaka and take a picture there. I can finish a small whole by myself!笑

Actually, you can buy Fruit Daifuku from Isshin-Do inside the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Osaka station! It's always empty whenever I go, which is perfect for me! I wonder if everyone hasn't noticed yet? The main store is in Sakai City, and I haven't been there yet, but I always used to line up at the department store basement to buy Fruit Daifuku, but now I can buy it without waiting... how wonderful! I've seen similar looking Fruit Daifuku in Kanto, but this one is still my favorite. There are fewer varieties compared to the department store basement, but it's good enough! I'll take it back home on the Shinkansen. They are all delicious, but I like the mandarin orange and strawberry ones. I visit every time I use the Shinkansen!

After a business trip, I bought this roll cake and enjoyed it on the Shinkansen bullet train to Tokyo. It is sweet and helps relieve fatigue. Next time, I'll also buy coffee.

Do you know about Dojima Roll? It's a half size roll cake with a cooling pack for 860 yen, perfect for sharing between 2-3 people. The cake is moist and fluffy like a souffle. It's not rolled up like a typical roll cake, but instead has one layer of cake with plenty of cream inside, similar to a sushi roll. The cream is not too sweet and has a light texture. It's so good that one slice might not be enough. I should have bought the full size instead of the half. Just a reminder, it's best to eat it on the same day as it doesn't keep well.

Usually sold out, but they just added more stock. I purchased the Mousse au Chocolat using Osaka Pay. It needs to be refrigerated for 4 hours. It has a shelf life until the day after tomorrow, but there are no ice packs included. Is it safe to eat?

The souvenir corner had a long line, but Sweet Patio was empty - lucky me! The sales lady recommended the fresh tarts, saying to refrigerate them within 4 hours and eat within 2 days. I managed to finish them all today - bought the pack with all 6 flavors! The rich chocolate was amazing! I tried the Marshmallow Ganache Tart and the Fondant Chocolat - both were delicious. The Marshmallow one had a surprise marshmallow inside, like an éclair with intense cocoa flavor. The Fondant one was not as bitter as expected, with a rich chocolate taste and just the right amount of sweetness. I'll definitely buy these again when I go to Osaka. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located inside the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station, I found a convenient sweets shop while in a rush. I decided to purchase the "Mousse Chocolat (2 pieces) for 810 yen including tax. I had to freeze it first and then thaw it the next day, which slightly affected the flavor. However, the chocolate itself was rich and delicious. If thawed carefully, it could have been even more enjoyable. For those looking for a quick treat, something that can be stored at room temperature might be a better option.

Arrived at Shin-Osaka by Shinkansen. I look for souvenirs. I usually buy Akafuku mochi or Rikuro Ojisan's cheesecake at Seven Eleven, but I suddenly felt like having a Dojima roll after a long time. Nowadays, there are many roll cakes where the entire middle is cream, but when I first had a Dojima roll, I was impressed by the amount of cream. I will share it with everyone at home. The gently sweet cream, made with a large amount of whipped cream, matches perfectly with the fluffy dough and is simply delicious. Conclusion. Dojima roll is delicious after all. Thank you for the meal. Summer 2022.

I bought an entrance ticket to show my grandson the Shinkansen while seeing off my son who was going on a business trip. We watched the Shinkansen until we got bored, and then I spotted "Deliceuse" inside the ticket gate! I had bought it before at Tennoji and it was delicious, so I bought it immediately ♡ Even if they say it's something you can only buy here, I don't mind at allヽ(○︎´3`)ノ At the Tennoji store, the cheesecake was wrapped in paper and twisted on both sides, but this time it was in a container. Is it because the stores are different? Or has it changed? This cheesecake is exquisite♪ Even people who don't like cheese might be able to eat it easily because it's not too rich and easy to eat (*^^*)

Today is our wedding anniversary, so I bought the masterpiece of Osaka souvenir that has been popular for over 20 years - the Dojima Roll cake. When it was first released, this roll cake, which wraps a moist egg yolk dough with a refreshing milk cream based on fresh milk, became explosively popular and was a social phenomenon with long lines at every store. Over the past 20 years, how many times have I bought the Dojima Roll cake as a souvenir! I immediately devoured it with my family. I think it's safe to say that this unforgettable roll cake is a masterpiece. Today's menu: Dojima Roll cake - 3,000 yen for one, 1,500 yen each for two.

The cream is not too heavy and has a light texture. It has a taste that you wouldn't get tired of even if you ate it every day. It's rich in cream and gives a sense of indulgence (laughs). It was delicious.

I bought the strawberry daifuku from Sweets Patio. The filling is red bean paste, and when I held it, it felt heavy even though it was small. When I tried it, the strawberry was very juicy, with juice coming out. It's just the right size for a snack on the Shinkansen.

Visited in the evening on a holiday. Wanted to buy the cut Dorashima roll, but it was sold out (・ัω・ั) Bought a half-size strawberry Dorashima roll instead! Asked for a knife & fork because I wanted to eat it on the Shinkansen. The fluffy dough♪ The cream was incredibly delicious (≧▽≦) It was my first time trying the strawberry version, and it was so good♡ A delicious treat that never disappoints no matter when you eat it♪

Recently, while I haven't been to OSAKA, a new souvenir shop has opened inside the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station. This shop is a collection of four selected sweets gifts from Kansai, produced by Sweets PATIO Tokai Kiosk. It just opened this year. It's not clear what kind of shop was there before, but the staff are promoting it verbally everywhere with placards in hand, making the souvenir battlefield in OSAKA even more intense. When you get off at Shin-Osaka, there is the nostalgic "Dojima Roll", and I decided to buy it on my way back. The clever shop at PATIO was the one that decided to set up shop there, calling itself the "New York of Japan, Dojima". The Dojima Roll, which made its debut there, was chosen as a tenant by JR. It may be biased to say "nostalgic", but I used to buy it a lot during its peak popularity. It was also sold in Tokyo. The soft dough that doesn't bounce back when pressed with a finger, the lightness that makes you feel like you can eat as much as you want, and the impressive way the milk-flavored cream melts in your mouth were all shocking. There is a "Patio Roll" sold exclusively at PATIO, so I, who like new things, bought it. It includes kiwi, pear, yellow peach, and berry cream together with the familiar cream of the Dojima Roll. I tried this new product that is somewhat unconventional with fruit added to the ordinary Dojima Roll. I kind of regretted it halfway through. But I enjoyed it. The careful amount and variety of fruits, and the balance of the fruit cream mix well with the cream and dough of the Dojima Roll. The balance of the fruit cut sizes is good, and the kiwi and yellow peach mix well with the cream in the mouth. The Dojima Roll remains unchanged with fruit added. I completely forgot that the expiration date for the Dojima Roll is the same day. It's proof that nothing unnecessary was used. The familiar orange cooler bag is perfect for advertising. It's not embarrassing for a man like me to carry it around with my travel bag. I'd even like to carry a bigger orange bag. They also had a chestnut version available for the season. I thought this one was no longer a Dojima Roll. But I like Mont Blanc, so I might be tempted by the autumn chestnut Dojima Roll.

Located inside the JR Shin-Osaka station, this shop offers a variety of sweets including Cocoa Boy for 540 yen (tax included), which is a round chocolate confection by Ek Chuah. They also have other treats like Deliceuse, Grandma Marble, and Dojima Roll, making it a luxurious souvenir shop.

This is a shop located inside Shin-Osaka Station (inside the Shinkansen ticket gate) that specializes in sweets souvenirs (takeout). They offer several types of cakes for purchase. This time, after a long time, I bought a Dojima Roll: 1296 yen (including tax) and brought it as a souvenir to my parents' house. We enjoyed it at home and it was delicious.

I bought 551, mitarashi manju, and decided to buy a Doshima roll as well. I chose the limited edition coffee roll, which was the perfect half size! The Doshima Coffee Roll Half was 972 yen and was delicious without being too sweet. It was a great dessert option and I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

A specialty shop in the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station where you can buy a gift of selected four brands of Western confectionery from Kansai. It's a convenient shop to buy souvenirs for business trips. The Doshima Roll (half size) is a long-awaited treat. The cream here is consistently delicious no matter how many times you eat it, and it doesn't last long, so it feels premium.

My wife came to Osaka for the weekend. She arrived at Shin-Osaka Station and bought "Haniwa Pudding" at a shop inside the station. It's a popular pudding, so I want to try it. The Christmas version of "Haniwa Pudding" looks cute. The white side has cheese cream, and the brown side has chocolate cream. Underneath is a rich pudding with a mild sweetness. After eating, the Haniwa container can be used as a small cup.

Inside the JR Shin-Osaka Station Shinkansen ticket gate, there is a souvenir sweets specialty store called "Mon Cheri" offering items like the "Dojima Roll" and "Mushu Chocolat." I decided to try the "Haniwa Pudding" that caught my eye. This custard pudding, made with double the usual amount of eggs, comes in a large cup shaped like a haniwa figurine. It has a rich flavor, a hint of sweetness, and a smooth texture. The mischievous expression on the cup adds to its charm, making it a perfect gift to bring back home.
