Osaka's landmark "Abeno Harukas" has celebrated its 5th anniversary♪ Time flies, doesn't it? I went to have dinner at the cafe, dining, and bar "SKY GARDEN 300" located on the observatory deck "Harukas 300" which boasts a height of 300m(о´∀`о)On a certain day in October, a classmate from my university days was coming to visit from Tokyo, so I was pondering where to take her. And then she said, "I want to go up Harukas!" She had never seen the towering Harukas before, so her fresh reaction was quite exciting. Upon some research, I found out that the dining bar on the 58th floor offers lounge-style seating with a romantic night view of Osaka, where you can enjoy wine, cocktails, tapas, and dinner plans! It was her birthday, so I decided to make a reservation here♪

Wow. Such a generous offering, with an observatory ticket included, all for this price! (◎_◎;) I quickly made a reservation! Abeno Harukas is Japan's tallest skyscraper, standing over 300m tall. The name "Harukas" comes from a passage in "The Tale of Genji" meaning "to clear up, to make clear"♪ Located at the terminal of JR and subway "Tennoji Station" and Kintetsu "Osaka Abenobashi Station", it features the first rooftop rental vegetable garden in a department store, a variety of fashion and lifestyle goods at "Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store", and the observatory deck "Harukas 300" with stunning views of Kyoto, Mt. Rokko, and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, as well as the "Abeno Harukas Art Museum" hosting various exhibitions, and the "Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel" with 360 rooms. The elevator to the 60th floor from the 16th floor has a floor display resembling an airplane's altitude meter, and it quickly ascends without any ear-popping or floating sensation. Truly, Mitsubishi Electric's elevators are world-class! My friend, who has visited Tokyo Skytree many times, was delighted♪ It felt like just yesterday when we first went to Roppongi Hills together(о´∀`о)The food and service were at a level that would excite students. The plates were warm, and the desserts were beautifully presented. But above all, the night view spreading out below from our feet was truly beautiful, and the conversation never stopped. Suddenly, I wondered why people are drawn to night views, and my friend, who studied psychology, answered, "Perhaps people are inherently comforted by the light in the darkness." Could it be that "light" has always been a signal of "something good" for living beings since ancient times? That's why we unconditionally like city illuminations, campfires, fireworks, night views, etc. So, even though there may have been more luxurious and delicious restaurants, the time spent gazing at this sparkling night view while looking at my friend's profile after a long time apart was undoubtedly my dazzling light. Thank you for the feast(о´∀`о)It was a beautiful night view!
