The other day, I went for a self-guided walk from Hakata Station to Ropponmatsu and got hungry around the time I passed through Tenjin and reached Daimyo. I wandered off Meiji Street towards the back of the Chuo Ward Office, looking for a place to eat, and that's when I spotted this restaurant: "Tonkotsu Ramen Tsukuya Daimyo Branch". Originally, "Chinatown Ramen Tsukuya" that serves soy sauce ramen has its main store in Tenjin. From there, a spin-off specializing in clear tonkotsu broth called "Tonkotsu Ramen Tsukuya" opened in Nakasu and gradually expanded its stores. It has now become so popular that it has branches at Fukuoka Airport's "Ramen Runway" and in Tokyo's Hiroo. This Daimyo branch opened in November 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. I finally decided to try their tonkotsu ramen (700 yen including tax) that I had been curious about. I ordered it, and after a short wait, the tonkotsu ramen arrived as shown in the photo. My first impression was how clear and beautifully fatty the broth looked. When I took a sip of the soup, I was amazed by its light yet flavorful tonkotsu essence with depth and sweetness. I couldn't help but marvel at such a tonkotsu soup. The noodles were the classic ultra-thin straight noodles of Hakata ramen, cooked quickly. They paired well with the soup. On top of the noodles were small but flavorful slices of chashu. I squeezed the kabosu provided on a small plate, and the addition of its fragrance brought a refreshing change to the taste. This is quite interesting. My daughter in fifth grade ordered the "Dashi Soba" (850 yen including tax), which adds seafood umami to the "Clear Tonkotsu" broth. She shared some of the soup with me. The seafood aroma hit first, followed by the richness of the tonkotsu when I tasted it. This soup was also intriguing. After my daughter finished the noodles, we decided to mix the remaining soup with an extra order of rice (150 yen including tax). The menu suggested mixing rice into the soup as a recommended way to finish the meal, so we tried it, and it turned out to be delicious! It was a perfect blend of seafood and tonkotsu umami, and we couldn't stop eating the rice. It was even tastier than I had imagined. I definitely want to come back for more.

When you want to eat a light ramen in the midst of rich and heavy shops, this place is recommended! It's a joy to squeeze the included kabosu and enjoy the changing flavors. The restaurant has a very calming atmosphere, and despite having a lot of luggage, they quickly brought out a basket to help.

I used it around 9 pm. It wasn't crowded probably because it was late. The ramen here is light and delicious. Fukuoka ramen is often known for its strong pork bone flavor, but this one is refreshing and doesn't make you feel guilty even when eaten late at night. The chashu comes with 3 slices, which is just the right amount for a late-night meal after drinking.

Gotta go to Fukuoka Ramen! I was looking for a place that stays open late and found this one. It's totally my style, so clean!! The noodles were thin and the soup was so refreshing on this hot day! It really revived me. The fried rice and ramen were both delicious! The restaurant was bright and stylish. It was bustling on a Saturday night! I want to try other menu items too! Can't wait to go back!

Ordered the pork ramen for ¥750. It took about 5 minutes. The interior of the restaurant had a mix of a pub-like atmosphere. The soup had a slight smell but was clear and refreshing. The flavor was solid and delicious. Adding lemon halfway through gave it a second enjoyable taste. The noodles were thin and had a satisfying texture. The pork topping consisted of 4 slices of pork belly, with a slightly fatty and tender texture. It had a bit of a smell, but it added to the overall experience. It was tasty, but lacked a bit of impact.

#Tonkotsu ramen at Tsukuya in Daimyo, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Price: ¥750. This ramen shop offers a clear tonkotsu broth that is popular among ramen enthusiasts. The atmosphere is rated three out of five stars, while the taste is also rated three out of five stars. I have been to the moon shop in Nakasu before, but this time I wanted to eat ramen somewhere near the Ritz Carlton bar. I found a place nearby and it was also close to Akasaka intersection. We had ramen with clear soup, squeezed sudachi, lightly boiled tripe, and fluffy and delicious ham cutlet. We shared it among three people. Thank you for the meal.

During a Fukuoka expedition, I managed to visit Tsukiya, a place I had been wanting to try. The clear pork bone broth was simple with a beautiful, clear appearance, and the thin straight noodles were neatly folded. The pork bone broth was meticulously prepared with blood and scum removed, a rare clear broth in Hakata. It was light on the stomach, without any unpleasant odor, and had a guilt-free feeling. The pork's sweetness and umami were definitely present. You can also add condiments provided on a separate plate for a change in flavor, such as lemon for a refreshing taste. The chashu was delicious too, so turning it into a pork pork ramen would have been a good idea. The stylish interior of the restaurant offers a variety of appetizers, making it a great place to enjoy a meal or drinks at a leisurely pace. The main store in Nakasu is known for its late-night queues. Although the chain has expanded, I'm glad I had the chance to visit. Location: 2-2-44 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Mountain House 2 1F. Operating Hours: 11:30-15:00 (last order 14:30), 18:00-25:00 (last order 24:30), closed irregularly. It's a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station, with parking available nearby for later payment. Opened on November 16, 2019. #Tsukiya #TsukiyaDaimyoBranch #PorkRamen #Ramen #ClearPorkBoneBroth #PorkBoneRamenLovers #Ramen #Gourmet #HakataRamen #RamenInstagrammer #Noodlestagram #NoodleInstagrammer #RamenLoversUnite #RamenGirls #Noodlestagram #FukuokaTravel #FukuokaGourmet #FukuokaRamen #Ramen #Fukuoka

I finally visited this place that I've been curious about for years. I arrived a bit early for dinner, so the restaurant was empty except for one group of customers. I was hungry, so I ordered the potato salad and motsu (offal). The motsu with green onions and salt was incredibly delicious. They also had a summer limited version of pork ramen, with a slightly sour soup like cold noodles. The regular version of pork ramen had a rich pork bone flavor, yet it was surprisingly light and I found myself finishing it in no time. I couldn't stop eating. I would love to stop by again for another bowl. Thank you for the meal.

The clear soup with simple pork topping looks beautiful, but it has a deep and delicious flavor that really stimulates the appetite. It is perfect as a finishing touch after drinking alcohol. I would like to try another ramen next time.

I visited "Buta Soba Tsukiya" in Daimyo, Chuo-ku for lunch a while ago. Despite it being a while since my last visit, the restaurant was still very popular and completely full. I had planned to have their pork ramen, but I noticed a limited edition Daimyo store exclusive clear fish and pork bone broth ramen on the menu. The soup had a nice fish aroma and was very clear. When I took a sip, the delicious soup spread through my body. It seemed like it would be delicious to make a porridge with this broth. Adding condiments enhanced the broth and made it even more beautiful. I would definitely like to have this bowl of ramen again.

First visit for a closing drink. This shop was not here over 10 years ago when I grew up. I found it while walking, so I decided to go in. I ordered tonkotsu ramen, which was said to be clear and light. I also ordered water dumplings and chawanmushi. The ramen had a tonkotsu soup base, but it was different from the usual tonkotsu ramen - not too rich, but had a solid tonkotsu flavor. Adding lemon made it even easier to drink. The noodles were just the right firmness and thickness, satisfying my preference. The chawanmushi was made with olive oil, with a simple salty taste that allowed the flavor of the olive oil to come through. It was a shop where I could have various new experiences, so I highly recommend it!

When living in Fukuoka, people tend to stick to the same ramen shops and not explore new ones. However, on this day, I finally decided to try out the Clear Tonkotsu Ramen that I had been curious about. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the menu was quite appealing, with a variety of options like ramen and izakaya dishes. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen for 750 yen, an extra serving of noodles for 150 yen, Stir-Fried Vegetables for 480 yen, Yakimeshi (fried rice) for 650 yen, and a glass of Shaoxing wine for 500 yen. The Tonkotsu Ramen was surprisingly clear but still flavorful, with a light and smooth soup that didn't have any unpleasant pork smell. The noodles were medium thickness and paired well with the soup. I also enjoyed the option to change the flavor with condiments like lemon. Even though it was my second stop of the night, I couldn't resist getting an extra serving of noodles. The Stir-Fried Vegetables had a home-cooked feel to them, but I probably wouldn't order them again. The Yakimeshi was simple but satisfying, just what my body needed. As a side note, when I asked about how to drink the Shaoxing wine, I was told I could have it on the rocks or with hot water, but not with carbonated water. I chose to have it at room temperature, but the server commented that it might be too mild. It was a bit of an awkward exchange, but overall, I was impressed by the variety of appetizers and I look forward to coming back to try more dishes from the first stop.

The pork bone broth is rich in flavor, yet the soup is surprisingly clear! The seafood pork bone ramen is exclusive to this famous shop! The aroma of seafood spreads out from the middle. The noodles are the classic Hakata-style, firm and thin, very delicious. The speed at which the food was served was very fast. Every last drop was delicious. I'm curious about trying the gyoza for dinner next time.

Tonkotsu ramen with a clear pork bone broth is the specialty here. The soup looks so clean that it almost doesn't seem like ramen, paired with thin noodles. It's guilt-free. The taste is refreshing with a hint of pork bone flavor, and adding lemon and green onions halfway through brings a nice touch of acidity. It was my first time trying it, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The interior of the shop is clean and there are many female customers. Unlike typical tonkotsu ramen, the soup is clear with garnishes of green onions and lemon. The taste has a slight sweetness, and when you squeeze the lemon, it tastes like Vietnamese pho. It's like putting Hakata ramen noodles into a rich pho soup and eating it. Personally, I don't dislike it, but if you go expecting Hakata ramen, you may feel betrayed.

After a drinking party at an izakaya, I felt a bit hungry and decided to stop by this place near the hotel. I was drawn in by the beautiful pork ramen. Just as the reviews said, the soup was clear yet full of pork flavor, and the chashu was delicious. The gyoza side dish was also excellent. The large and meaty gyoza rivaled those of specialty shops in taste.

Hello everyone!! Today, I went drinking in Nakasu!! Ate various things at Wan Gyoza, went to a cabaret club, made some dirty jokes haha. I don't remember much and kept getting woken up to pay money, then ate ramen at a restaurant. The taste was quite different there haha.

I tried the TonTon Ramen at Buta Soba Tsukiya, which is famous for its clear pork bone broth. The ramen had a refreshing taste with a good balance of pork bone flavor, making it easy on the stomach. The chashu had a nice meaty texture and when eaten with the noodles, it kept me interested until the last bite. Personally, I'm not a fan of rich pork bone broth, so this was just the right seasoning for me.

Hanamokoshi-san, finished for today at 12:30. So, Tsukiyasan. I had been to a shop in Nakasu before, but I didn't remember the taste at all, so I decided to visit again. Oh, it's delicious. But I thought it was like slightly overcooked, pork-flavored somen noodles. A guilt-free ramen... I think it's good to have a bit of guilt with delicious dining out! Clear and trendy, but making transparent soup is super easy, adding color and flavor like consomme soup is difficult. Is this ramen a copy of Rairaikan in Yame? Or is it the other way around? The lack of originality in appearance is surprising. By the way, I had wanted to visit Rairaikan once, but if the quality is like this, there's no need to go out of my way! No need for a revisit. Thank you for the meal!

A local friend visited, so we went to a ramen shop for a nightcap. I chose "Tsukiya," which serves a light pork ramen for my friend who isn't a big fan of tonkotsu ramen. They were impressed by the delicious bowl of ramen. The fried rice was also tasty, and it turned into another night of overeating warning...
