After eating at the udon restaurant "Kamahiro," one of the top 100 udon shops near JR Tsurugaoi Station, I went next door to "Puyuru.do.Sosogi." They had a lot of cakes and baked goods, making it hard to choose. The cakes looked delicious, but I was worried about carrying them in the heat. I ended up getting the Basic Pudding for 260 yen and the Caramel Pie for 280 yen, totaling 540 yen. Despite tilting a bit, they were fine. The pudding was of medium firmness, and the caramel was great. The caramel pie had a crispy pie crust and the nuts on top were a nice touch.

Before going to the udon restaurant, I discovered a cute cake shop. They have a strawberry shortcake (460 yen), a chestnut Mont Blanc (490 yen), a chocolate pave (480 yen), and a cream puff (225 yen). The cakes have a nostalgic feel to them but taste delicate and gentle. I believe they are flavors loved by people of all ages and genders. They were delicious.

It's a fluffy and delicious chocolate cake with a layer of ganache. It's so tasty. At this price, I wish I could buy more. I think I could easily eat three of them! This is a wonderful cake shop. After having lunch at Kama Hiro, I stopped by. The cake showcase, which would have been filled with cakes, only had 2-3 types left. Since there were only shortcake-like options, I gave up on cakes... I looked for something interesting in the baked goods section and ended up buying two types of baked goods to take home. - "Tsuru Tamago" I thought the name came from the smooth texture, but it seems it is also spelled as "Tsuru Gama" and was named after Tsurugaoka Station. When you turn it over, it's a madeleine. The top looks like a tamago pan. This buttery flavored baked good disappears in one bite. - "Shiawase no Okashi" This snack is inspired by the Spanish traditional sweet "Polvorón." Lately, similar snacks have been sold at MUJI as well. It's a cookie dough with almonds that crumbles easily with the pressure of your mouth or tongue. Spanish traditional sweets heavily influenced by Arab culture often have this kind of flavor, and I was able to enjoy this taste after a long time.

I went to a cake shop called Patisserie Pure de Sosogi, located about 1 minute from JR Tsurugaoi station, to buy some snacks! This cake shop is famous for its custom decoration cakes, where they can make various cakes with portraits, characters, and more! I bought Pavé Chocolat and Mont Blanc with Japanese chestnut. I had the Pavé Chocolat, which had a chocolate sponge, chocolate cream, and a layer of chocolate on top, making it a chocolate lover's dream (^o^) The fluffy sponge was delicious! This is a popular shop in the local area that makes cute cakes. Their birthday cakes are especially popular!! It seems like my nieces get their cakes made here. They were really cute! I might order one for my daughter's birthday in the future?! On this day, I bought some treats for a visit in the afternoon and for myself (^O^) It's right by Tsurugaoka Station so it was easy to find. The interior of the shop had a cute atmosphere. I went before Valentine's Day so the shop was decorated in a Valentine's Day theme. It looks like it would be nice for White Day too. I'd like to try ordering a surprise birthday cake here!! (^-^)/

I had an original cake made for my mother's 60th birthday celebration. The quality was consistent as always! They based the design on a drawing I provided. They also included a frame and a photo. The cake was delicious with plenty of fruit, especially the melon which was incredibly sweet! The cream was light and fluffy, not too sweet, which I prefer. There hasn't been a better bakery in this area for over 7 years.

The matcha flavor is just right, not too bitter, and even I, who doesn't like matcha, was fine. The Mont Blanc and cream were truly exquisite! Not too sweet, delicious, and amazing! ☆Pear Tart I always love the tart crust, and this time it was a pear tart for the season! The pear was surprisingly sweet, and I thought, "Pears can be this sweet?" It was sweeter than usual for Sosogi-san, but it was still good. I really like the crispy and moist tart. As always, I highly recommend it. There really are no misses here. While waiting for cakes, I saw that the Kumanshe in the western confectionery section had become Kumanshe II, so I want to try it again. I thought, "They're always researching and improving," and I was impressed. I want to go again!

During the Christmas season in December 2016, I went to Sosogi to buy some sweets. When I arrived at 1 pm, a few more customers came in later. I tried the "Chocolate Mousse" for 356 yen (including tax). It's a creamy and smooth chocolate mousse. You can enjoy crunchy chocolate and chocolate bars as well! The mousse part feels packed but also fluffy and moist. It's a bit sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness! The bottom layer is a larger crispy dough, slightly bitter, and I like it on its own. It was supposed to be a "Chocolate Cream Decoration" cake, but they ended up making it with chocolate cream instead of regular cream. It had strawberries, peaches, oranges, melon, and blueberries on top, with a layer of strawberry and cream in the middle. The chocolate cream was not too sweet and had a fluffy texture. The fruits were all fresh. Although it was good, I still prefer the regular cream. When you order a whole cake, they take a picture of it and put it in a photo frame as a gift. The chocolate cream was fluffy and had a moist texture. The sponge was light and soft, with a good texture. It was all chocolate, but not too sweet, so it was easy to eat.
