I heard there is a sweet potato shop run by a dog in Sapporo, so I went to visit. The shop owner is a Shiba Inu named Ken. He is very cute and friendly. I visited at the end of September, but they were selling snacks instead of sweet potatoes. They only had Umaibo, but I think they could add a few more varieties. I would like to go back in winter to eat sweet potatoes again!

The dog's sweet shop, formerly known as the dog's candy shop, is it limited time only? I hope they bring back the baked sweet potatoes in winter. I bought Umaibo snacks, which are okay in terms of food review ratings. Ken greeted me at the entrance and then chewed on his snack (see image). The shop lady came at the right time and gave Ken some jerky treats. When I saw the next customer coming, I said goodbye and promised to visit again. I'll definitely go back!

I finally got to visit a shop that I've been wanting to go to for a while, which I saw on TV last year. It's closed on weekends, so it was hard to find a time to go, but luckily they were open on holidays. There were a lot of people in front of the shop taking pictures and petting the dogs. The dogs were very well-behaved and obedient. The sweet potatoes were small and cute, costing 200 yen each. You put the money in a slot and then get a paper bag with the sweet potato inside. They were surprisingly sweet and tasted better than the ones I recently bought at the supermarket. It was a cozy experience. Thank you very much.

I heard about a popular sweet potato shop and decided to visit. There was a crowd in front of the shop. Surprisingly, the shop owner is a dog who is very well-behaved. The sweet potatoes were priced at 200 yen for a set of 3 small ones. They were sweet and fluffy. It's a shop that attracts customers with the help of their adorable dog.

I usually don't write about the same restaurant twice, but I had to make a retraction this time. I was barked at last time, but this time we got along well. Ken was wagging his tail and being very calm. He didn't react to "sweet potatoes" though, haha. The sweet potatoes were delicious too!

I was interested in a certain restaurant, and the day before, I passed by and saw a huge number of cars parked nearby! It seemed like the restaurant had been featured on TV, so I knew I had to go there quickly! The next day, I headed there as soon as they opened. It's located in a residential area off the Sheep Hill Street, just off Route 36. I noticed a lot of cars even before they opened, but it turned out they were just construction vehicles from the neighborhood haha. I was hoping to see a dog, and one came out to greet me! Hello~. At first, we had a good interaction, but when I asked for "two sweet potatoes," it responded with "woof woof." Maybe it was reacting to the word "sweet potatoes"? I found it amusing! I tried saying "sweet potatoes" a few more times, and the "woof woof" got more intense, showing its teeth and barking loudly haha. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't mentioned sweet potatoes... I'd like to investigate further next time. As for the sweet potatoes themselves, they looked different. I tried the glossy-looking one on the right first, but I felt it could be sweeter. The one on the left, which I tried next, was sweeter and juicier. It was smaller than the ones at Don Quijote, but it was delicious. There were also foreign language writings, not just in English or Chinese, but in Thai or Arabic-like characters. It was interesting to see that in such a residential area. I wonder if the day will come when I can be friends with the dog. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that a dog was selling baked sweet potatoes, so I went to buy some (*^^*). At first, the dog wasn't there, so I thought maybe it was out for a walk? I approached and suddenly it appeared! I was ready with money to buy a sweet potato, but then it suddenly started barking, "Woof woof woof woof!!" Did it mistake me for a thief? I'm not suspicious, I promise! The sweet potatoes were 200 yen each, and they were deliciously sweet. Oh, and remember, dogs can't give change, so be sure to have exact change when you go to buy. "Dog Sweet Potato Stand", thank you for the meal♪

It's a bit difficult to describe the exact location, but it's in Kiyota 2-1-1 in Kiyota-ku. If you want to know the detailed location, please check the map on Tabelog as usual. I found a shop that caught my interest in the past new store information on Tabelog, so I decided to visit the shop. When I arrived at the shop, I saw a small hut that looked like a farm produce sales place next to a rural farm road. The sign said "Shopkeeper: Ken the Dog," but it seemed like Ken was not there today, probably taking a break in the main house. I put 100 yen in the payment box, took out a sweet potato from the warming box, put it in a bag, and headed back to my car. I decided to try the "Kurenai Haruka" sweet potato from Kumamoto in the car. The sweet potatoes were cut into easy-to-eat sizes and were still hot. They were slightly sticky and had a good level of sweetness, making them really delicious. They were pre-cut and sold in packs of 5 for 100 yen, making them a great snack for kids. I would like to visit the shop again to meet Ken the guard dog and buy more sweet potatoes next time.

★A Shiba Inu runs a sweet potato shop★ The only staff member is a dog named Ken. Part of the profits are donated to organizations that work to protect pets from being euthanized. It's a shop where "dogs work for dogs", truly unique and heartwarming.
