I received this as a gift. Seasonal limited edition Sugar Butter Sand Tree 3 kinds of nuts chocolate released on 10/1/2022, sold until around April 2023. I apologize for reviewing it after the end of sales. (It might be available again in the fall?) It has a crunchy cereal dough filled with almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts roasted with their skins on, mixed with a chocolate with a nutty flavor. The nutty chocolate flavor of the three nuts goes well with the cereal dough and tastes delicious. Each individually wrapped package contains one Sugar Butter Sand Tree. The individually wrapped packaging is cute, making each piece look big and high-class, and the fact that it tastes good is attractive. I think this product is attractive not only in terms of taste but also in other aspects. The Sugar Butter Sand Tree is a brand of Grapestone Co., Ltd. Their packaging is also attractive, as expected.

It seems to be exclusive to the Umeda Hankyu store. Yokozuna??? Could it be chanko flavor? No, it was actually delicious white chocolate flavor. It is made with Hokkaido milk white chocolate with finely whipped foam poured in. Creamy and fluffy, it melts gently creating a new texture. Plenty of deliciousness and volume. A chocolate sandwich worthy of the name Yokozuna. Why Yokozuna though? But it was delicious. It might be a good souvenir.

This is a review of the shop "Sugar Butter" located on the basement floor of Hankyu Department Store Umeda. They have a chocolate sandwich called "Yokozuna" which is exclusive to Hankyu. I bought it thinking it would be a regular chocolate, but it turned out to be white chocolate. The packaging looked impressive... It was a limited edition item, which caught my wife's attention. We tried it at home and when I opened the package, the smell of cafe chocolate filled the room. The crispy buttery pastry with chocolate butter filling was not too sweet and tasted delicious. I think it's best enjoyed at room temperature. It would make a great gift for friends, but also a nice treat for yourself. Thanks a lot!

On March 27, 2023 (Monday), the limited edition Yokozuna✨ 14-piece set at Hankyu Department Store was already sold out when I went in the afternoon. It's incredibly popular! The Yokozuna 10-piece set costs 1,134 yen (tax included) with a best before date of June 13. It has 1.8 times more milk chocolate, which I was really looking forward to! It's amazing how much stronger the chocolate flavor is with 1.8 times more chocolate! I love Sugar Butter Tree chocolates, but the Yokozuna with more milk chocolate is incredibly delicious✨✨ It may seem a bit smaller than usual, but the volume of chocolate in the Yokozuna is truly fitting for its name! It's sweet and incredibly tasty✨ The store always has a long line! Customers were coming in non-stop. The individual bags were free.

I needed a light and plentiful sweet treat as a souvenir, so I decided to visit Sugar Butter at Hankyu Umeda Main Store. In the past, I used to buy Tokyo souvenirs from there, but now that it's available at Hankyu, I visit frequently. I chose a box of 12 pieces with three different flavors for 1,050 yen excluding tax as a souvenir. I thought it would be easier for a few staff members to divide the sweets if they were mixed flavors rather than all the same.

It is a relatively inexpensive option for a souvenir sold at department stores, so it could be convenient depending on your needs. Since it was a gift, I'm not sure about the service, but I do know that there is always a long line! It's popular, which is why there was a collaboration product at the convenience store not too long ago, right? It's a crispy cereal sweet with white chocolate inside, and you break it inside the bag to make it bite-sized, which I think is why it's popular. It goes well with coffee or tea, so it's perfect for a tea time with everyone. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal. I'll definitely visit again.

"Moomin" and "Sugar Butter Tree" collaboration products are now on sale. I was curious because they looked so cute. I bought a pack of 3 for 280 yen. The outer packaging and individual bags both have Moomin illustrations, which are adorable. When I opened it, I saw that even the butter sandwiches have Moomin designs! I was impressed by the attention to detail. The taste is delicious, of course. The cereal contains whey powder from the Finnish land where Moomin's homeland is. When I go to Umeda, I sometimes buy these as souvenirs for my family (*´ω｀*). Everyone loves them~ It's a box of 10 pieces for around 690 yen. Apparently, the Sugar Butter Sand has become even more delicious in 2021. They increased the proportion of fermented butter. You can easily break the bag and have a bite-sized piece. If you flip the base dough, both sides become Sugar Butter. The rich sweetness of the crunchy chocolate with the flavor of grains and the buttery aroma is irresistible (*´ω｀*). It goes perfectly with black coffee~♡♡ I always wonder why it feels sticky when eating this... Is it because of the cereal dough?! Haha. I personally love eating it chilled and crispy from the fridge. It's amazing that you can get 10 pieces for around 700 yen, so about 70 yen per piece?! That price in a department store~!! It's a great treat for a slightly upgraded home cafe or as a small souvenir without breaking the bank (・∀・).
