I visited the famous restaurant Niku no Kisshan in Namba Takashimaya, which has also opened in Nishi-Nakajima. I arrived a bit late, around 8:00 pm, and was seated promptly. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere with a hint of luxury. I was worried that the smoke might make the place look dirty, but that was not the case.
I ordered the Black Wagyu full-course meal, which included: Wagyu sashimi platter, seared Wagyu sushi, Kisshan salad, premium thick-cut beef tongue, Wagyu offal, assorted grilled vegetables, premium beef skirt, premium sirloin, premium thinly sliced thigh meat, premium short rib, premium harami, white rice, tail soup, and almond tofu. It was a truly luxurious meal, a full course of meat.
The sashimi platter was fresh and delicious, with no fishy taste. The seared sushi melted in my mouth. The thick-cut beef tongue had a great chewy texture. The offal had a unique flavor and was not tough at all. The sirloin was tender and flavorful. The ribs were juicy and had a nice bounce to them. The harami was also juicy and full of flavor. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the delicious meat dishes.
Although the price may be a bit on the higher side, it is worth it for a luxurious dining experience. I heard from a friend that their hamburger steak for lunch is also soft and delicious, so I plan to visit again during lunchtime. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

When you really feel like eating yakiniku, there are times when you just have to go for it. After a long time, I decided to have yakiniku alone. This restaurant is quiet and easy to get into on weekdays. They have a wide variety of meat, and each portion is not too large so you can try many different kinds. My favorite ribeye wasn't too greasy and had just the right satisfying flavor.

I went to eat meat with a friend for the first time at a beautiful restaurant. We were seated at a table and the interior was very lively with foreign customers! I ordered the hamburger set ♡ First, a salad and three types of appetizers were served. They were all just the right size! Especially the chicken on the left was delicious. The hamburger with a Japanese-style sauce and sliced onions on top was very tasty, and the rice went well with it. The service from the staff was also good. Good value for the money! I made a reservation for a private room for two people, so we visited the restaurant. There was no time limit for the table, so we could relax. They served individual items for yakiniku, such as salted tongue, harami, special selection, misuji, and chateaubriand, as well as side dishes like kimchi. The harami, which should have been delicious, was a bit disappointing, but the special selection was indeed tender and delicious.

Today, I didn't have much time and couldn't drink alcohol, so I decided to try the simmered hamburger lunch. The hamburger is delicious. The stew/sauce is light and refreshing. Premium green onion beef tongue for 2400 yen! Premium loin for 2080 yen! Ichibo for 2280 yen! Top mino for 1100 yen! We ordered a variety of dishes! Just by looking at the photos and prices, you can probably understand what I want to say, but I won't say it, so please use your imagination! The yakiniku course was incredibly delicious, allowing us to savor the finest meat quality. Personally, I love the Wagyu seared sushi here, it's so good that I can finish it in no time. The smoke-free roaster and excellent ventilation system made dining in the restaurant during the pandemic feel safe and comfortable. With private rooms and a clean atmosphere, I had a great time enjoying delicious yakiniku. Highly satisfied!

Due to its location, the lunchtime is always crowded, so I recommend making a reservation. For lunch, they offer various set menus such as Angus beef lunch, service lunch, and ladies lunch, all with different meat quality and quantity. You can also order individual menu items. Each set comes with pickles, salad, rice, and soup. I tried the Angus beef lunch and the service lunch. The Angus beef was lean with a beautiful color, while the meat in the service lunch was diced. They offer 3 types of sauces and 3 types of salt. The meat was decent, but the sauces might not suit everyone's taste. I found the way the staff served the food a bit rough. Considering the quality, you can find tastier and more affordable meat locally. The prices might be higher due to the location. Perhaps the quality of the meat improves in the evening, but I hope they provide pleasant service no matter when you visit."

The thick-cut tongue was incredibly delicious. I was surprised by how fatty it was for tongue. The meat was so good that I couldn't finish it (maybe because of my age). I only glanced at the bill on the way out, but I think it was around 18,000 yen for two people. So, I guess the cost performance is average? I can't remember what we ordered. This is not the place for when you want to eat a lot of meat! It's more about enjoying high-quality meat in a refined way.

At the end of the year, I treated myself to a luxurious lunch with a platter of meat. I forgot to take a photo, but I also added tongue shabu-shabu and sausages. It was delicious! Today I felt like eating hamburger, so I decided to visit the Namba Dining Maison at Takashimaya. The first choice, Toyotei, had a long line, the second choice, Ajito, also had a wait, but the third choice, "Niku Sho Kisshan," seated me promptly without any wait. I ordered the Hamburger Steak with a Drink & Dessert set.
After a while, appetizers and salad were served. The appetizers included carrot rapé, mashed sweet potatoes, and steamed chicken, all of which were delicious. The salad had a nice dressing as well.
Next, the main dish arrived! You can choose from 4 different sauces, but I went with the demi-glace this time. The hot hamburger sat on a sizzling hot plate. The side dishes included fried potatoes, curry-flavored baby corn, asparagus, and carrots. The demi-glace sauce was a bit strong on the Worcestershire side, but it paired well with the black wagyu beef. The soup was a classic consommé, simply delicious.
After the meal, I had the Drink & Dessert set, choosing ginger ale and melon sherbet. When the sherbet was served, they informed me that it was still frozen and asked for a little more time, which was a thoughtful gesture. Everything was quite delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The location is Namba. After going to two different places, we finally all met up. Now, shall we start the all-you-can-drink feast...at a top-notch location for yakiniku and all-you-can-drink, it's "Kuroge Wagyu Yakiniku Kicchan Honten" restaurant. How about the all-you-can-drink yakiniku experience? The course starts with the cheapest "Kicchan Course" for 6,700 yen, with a kimchi assortment and appetizers. The meat starts with thinly-sliced salted tongue, which is a bit dry and not the best. Then comes chicken and pork, which are decent. The main cuts like loin, kalbi, and harami are somewhat tasty. Without the all-you-can-drink, it would be around 5,000 yen, but honestly, the meat alone is just okay. It only reaches a passable level with the all-you-can-drink. In terms of price, there are better places with tastier options. I had to order extra hormone because the quantity was lacking. I had a little something to eat during the pre-drinks, so it was just enough for me. Lastly, we finished with soup and bibimbap! The location is great, and having private rooms is a plus, but overall, the meat alone is not that impressive. I ended up ordering additional items, so it came to around 7,000 yen per person. Well, to be honest, it's not a place I would visit again.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant on the 8th floor of Takashimaya on Niku no Hi (Meat Day) with three female colleagues. The restaurant had dividers and semi-private rooms, with the sliding doors left open for COVID-19 measures. We ordered salted tongue, loin, and harami, which were brought to us with beautiful presentation. The food was so delicious that we couldn't help but finish everything with laughter. The chijanai (Chinese cabbage) was also delicious, and we ended up ordering more. It was really, really delicious!

I was hoping to have some seasonal matsutake mushroom sukiyaki, but they didn't have it at Takashimaya, so I settled for black wagyu sukiyaki instead. The waitress cooked the first piece of meat for us and prepared a set of vegetables in a pot, just like a proper restaurant. We also added an extra 150g of black wagyu. It was a delicious meal.

We went to a yakiniku restaurant at Takashimaya to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the 4800 yen Kicchan course, which included appetizers like kimchi namul salad, vegetables with Tan wagyu kalbi, wagyu loin, and harami, as well as juicy chicken and pork, grilled vegetables, and bibimbap with almond tofu for dessert. In short, it's a yakiniku restaurant that women would enjoy. The interior is beautiful, typical of a department store, with a good amount of vegetables and sweets included. However, the meat portion is a bit small at 180g total, so it may not be suitable for those looking to eat a lot of A4 or A5 grade wagyu. It seems perfect for celebrating a girlfriend's birthday or having a girls' night out.
