I arrived at the store around 4:30 pm on Thursday. There were a lot of people and even the checkout line was long for some reason. I purchased a Crepe au Chocolat, Mont Blanc Tart, Fromage Xmas Chocolate Crunch 8-piece set. It was delicious as always, a reliable choice.

It's been a while since I visited Shatoreze♪ On the occasion of Children's Day, just kidding, (laughs) I stopped by here to celebrate our anniversary and Kudo Shinichi's (Detective Conan) birthday! We each bought two cakes that we wanted to eat (*^^*) Shatoreze is still as affordable as ever! The pudding a la mode for Children's Day is around 400 yen each (laughs) If we had gone to a high-end cake shop, it would have cost around 800 to 1,000 yen for the same amount (*´ω`*) It may seem quite sweet, but it goes well with bitter coffee, making a good combination\(^o^)/ We enjoyed the taste very much! There are several parking spaces here, which is convenient! As it's Children's Day, there were many families with kids around (*^^*) Thank you for the meal!

When you walk down the street, you will always come across Shatoreze. There are so many branches now. This time, I went to buy some sweet cakes. Without hesitation, I chose the "Baked Cheesecake" from the glass case. It's delicious! The sweetness is just right. Perfect.

During my usual snack time, I snuck out of the office and arrived at Shatorēze. To blow away the gloomy news, I found myself surrounded by sweet and elegant cherry blossom snacks. Among them, I chose three particularly cute ones: cherry blossom bouché, cherry blossom Baumkuchen, and cherry blossom rusk. All of these are limited edition products for this season. Surrounded by lovely pink treats, I felt like I was surrounded by cute girls and my heart felt warm. The cherry blossom bouché had a rich buttercream center with a luxurious buttery taste and a refreshing cherry blossom aroma. It was bursting with the beauty of spring. And all this for just 100 yen, amazing! The cherry blossom Baumkuchen had a light texture and was easy to eat, but the cherry blossom flavor could have been stronger to enhance the overall quality. The cherry blossom rusk was coated with a beautiful cherry blossom-colored chocolate, with a mild sweetness. While it may not satisfy those craving a heavily sweet rusk, the lovely appearance of the cherry blossom chocolate coating brought a warm feeling to my heart. A modest touch, typical of cherry blossoms, is a good thing. Thank you for the spring feast!

I never really paid attention to traditional Japanese sweets, as I always associated sweets with Western-style or baked goods. But I was surprised to find out that there are Japanese sweets as well, like sakuramochi. I wonder if Shatorizu also sells them? Feeling low on sugar, I was lying on my desk when a younger colleague pointed out that sakuramochi is available at the store. I was amazed to see the sakuramochi displayed right in the center of the store, priced at only 108 yen. Made with Hokkaido rice, Hokkaido red beans, Izu sakura leaves, and Dojima sakura rice, the design of the sakuramochi was impeccable. The saltiness of the sakura leaves was subtle, making it easy to eat even for kids trying sakuramochi for the first time. The gentle sweetness of the red bean paste and the chewy texture of the rice cake were perfect. The sakuramochi had a faint lavender color that matched well with the overall appearance. It was a delightful sakuramochi that could become the standard for many people. It was delicious, affordable, and I wish I could buy it every day. Thank you for the meal!

I entered the city and came seeking pudding... and I found it! There were plenty of puddings, a whole army of them to meet the demand. I got one and enjoyed it at work. As expected, the pudding was soft and smooth, with a caramel made using button-sized ingredients. It was delicious, but I didn't feel the need for another. It's a great option for a handout gift - cheap, large, and reliable. Next time, I'm curious about the pudding a la mode! Thank you for the meal!

This time, I went to Chateraise Higashi-ku Maimatsubara store located at 2-5-8 Maimatsubara, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. As requested, I purchased the Strawberry Tasting Baton for 1,700 yen (excluding tax), which includes four different types of strawberries. It uses strawberries from Fukuoka prefecture, Amaou strawberries, strawberries from Miyagi prefecture, Moikkoi strawberries, strawberries from Kagawa prefecture, Sanuki Hime strawberries, and strawberries from Tochigi prefecture, Tochiotome strawberries. It was a luxurious treat with a variety of strawberries. The whipped cream was not too sweet, allowing the sweet and sour taste of the strawberries to come through. It was delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

Shatoreze Higashi-ku Maimatsubara Store
Both Western and Japanese sweets are lined up in the store. There are various types of sweets such as the rumored "Chocolate Marshmallow Pizza" that became a boom in Tokyo, and traditional Japanese sweets like Isobe-yaki. And the best part is how cheap it is! The delicious cream puff is just a little over 100 yen. Moreover, they even put a cold pack in the bag, which is a thoughtful gesture. There are also items like 10 ice creams for 250 yen, making it the best cost performance.

2014.4 Impulse buys:
First, a set of 6 items for 500 yen. Double choux cream, pure melty, fluffy thick roll (108 yen each), Sakura colors (270 yen) with 5 types: cherry blossom snow flat, grass mochi with soybean flour, mashed cherry blossoms, grass mochi, cherry blossom mochi. Madeleine (108 yen), scone (86 yen), waffle (70 yen) - it's nice to be able to easily buy snacks for everyday enjoyment.
2013.11 Rich baked cheesecake (231 yen) - a fairly large slice. The taste is decent for the price. Baked cheesecake Quattro Fromage (294 yen) with a nice cookie crumble on top. Belgian chocolate (white: 4 pieces for 105 yen) - in winter, you can't help but reach for chocolate. A handy store for enjoying affordable sweets.
2011.5 After a long time, I had some Chateraise snacks. Fluffy raw roll with strawberry (105 yen → 74 yen) - the dough is surprisingly fluffy with plenty of cream, very satisfying. 3 pieces of red bean paste rice cake with perilla (210 yen → 105 yen) - realized that perilla goes surprisingly well with rice cake. With a variety of Japanese and Western sweets, I feel like going back again.
2010.3 Double choux cream matcha (105 yen) - the matcha custard is pleasantly bitter, giving an adult-like feel. Of course, there is plenty of cream. Very satisfying.
2010.3 "Chateraise" finally opened in Higashi Ward. Freshly laid egg choux cream (105 yen) - filled with plenty of creamy goodness. Double choux cream (105 yen) - custard & whipped cream for a satisfying experience. Double choux cream chocolate (105 yen) - uses authentic Belgian couverture. They were all quite delicious. I might become a regular customer.

A shop that is convenient for buying small souvenirs, such as baked goods. I often buy baked sweets, but they also have cakes and ice cream. The other day, I bought some rusks for us to eat. I got the garlic flavor and the black pepper flavor. The garlic flavor is like French bread rusk. It has a crunchy texture and the garlic flavor lingers. The black pepper flavor is like the crust of bread. It has a crispy texture and a spicy kick from the black pepper, which goes well with alcohol. Personally, I prefer the black pepper flavor. They also have a tomato basil flavor, which I haven't tried yet. I'll buy it next time I go. The price is around 170 yen, so it's affordable. I recommend it.

When I visited my parents' house, my mother had bought some Halloween sweets for my daughter. They were from a shop called "Chateraise" which I had never heard of before, but it seems they have stores all over the country. The black cat is a chocolate roll cake coated in dark chocolate, with purple eyes and a tail standing up. The white ghost is a yogurt mousse on top of a tart crust, with a refreshing taste.

I have relied on Shatoreze many times. Even though my budget is tight, I feel like having some cake~ and when I need a large amount of treats regardless of the taste, Shatoreze is a lifesaver! The taste is above average, and they seem to be using high-quality ingredients like real vanilla beans and fresh chocolate. They also offer a wide variety of products, from traditional Japanese sweets like mitarashi dango and ohagi to cookies, cream puffs, ice cream, and whole cakes. One of my favorites is the assorted pack of fresh Japanese sweets. They always have about 8 different types of dumplings and mochi that you can mix and match in a pack. The prices are very reasonable, starting from 42 yen for mitarashi dango and 126 yen for more elaborate ohagi. It's great because you can choose a little of each and enjoy a variety of flavors. The pack in the photo (dumplings and mugwort rice cakes) cost 336 yen for 5 pieces. Such a bargain! When I first bought their cakes, I didn't have high expectations because they were so cheap, but the whipped cream had a classic taste and was surprisingly delicious. The classic strawberry shortcake was 273 yen, and it had real strawberries inside the cream. The pudding was also creamy and only 84 yen. The taste is really good for the price, and it's a real lifesaver. It's also great for casual treats at work~

I went to Chateraise in Maematsubara, Higashi-ku. This is a franchise sweets shop with about 35 stores nationwide. The store offers a wide variety of Western sweets, Japanese sweets, ice cream, food, etc. They have cakes available in both fresh and frozen options, as well as baked goods, frozen pizzas, and even wine. The prices are surprisingly low, with items like pudding and yogurt priced at 73 yen! Some recommended items include the Special Strawberry Shortcake for 273 yen, Crepe au Fruit for 294 yen, Morning Fresh Seven-Grain Ohagi with Shiso for 52 yen, Morning Fresh Azuki Bean Ohagi with Shiso for 52 yen, and Isobe Mochi for 42 yen. The store also offers frozen cakes, sweets for those concerned about sugar content, and products free from allergens like wheat, milk, and eggs. The lineup is wide and varied, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the treats. I would definitely visit again!

A nationally known dessert shop opened in Maematsubara, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. The shop is located on a street with supermarkets and banks, about 1 kilometer from the Tataranaka Junior High School Nishi intersection. The parking lot was full when I visited, with around 15 cars parked in various spots. It was quite difficult to maneuver my car into a parking space. I recommend walking to the shop due to the limited parking space and lack of security personnel. The shop seems to be more popular than expected, causing parking issues. I brought a cooler bag to buy ice cream, with my favorite being the Jersey Milk Ice Cream from Chateraise. However, the 80 yen Jersey Milk Ice Cream bar was no longer available, so I ended up buying Jersey Milk Monaka (399 yen for 4 pieces) and Rum Raisin Bars (315 yen for 6 pieces) instead. The Monaka's shell was not great, and the ice cream inside was just average. The Rum Raisin Bars were wrapped in a thin, hard film of what seemed like syrup, with a strong rum aroma and plenty of raisins inside. Personally, I found the rum flavor too overpowering and prefer fewer raisins. Overall, the desserts did not live up to the deliciousness of the Jersey Milk Ice Cream bar. It's a convenient shop for a quick snack if you live nearby, but not worth a special trip.

I saw on TV that a new store called Chateraise opened on 3/24, offering affordable sweets. The parking lot was spacious and customers were coming in and out. Inside, they had a wide variety of Japanese sweets, ice cream, cakes, and baked goods, reminiscent of Sakae-ya or Ishimura Manseido. The Japanese sweets were priced around 60 yen, very reasonable. Cakes were available starting from 150 yen. I tried the Crepe au Fruit (294 yen) which had custard and cream between crepe and sponge layers with fruits. The Chocolat Brick (273 yen) was my favorite, with layers of vanilla and chocolate sponge, cream, and chocolate coating. The Tiramisu Schnitten (150 yen) was also good, not too sweet. The Fresh Egg Pudding (84 yen) had a gentle flavor and was a steal for the price. The Fluffy Roll (399 yen) was a good deal for the size and taste, with sponge, cream, and custard filling. It was softer than expected but still delicious. Overall, the prices were reasonable, and the variety of sweets, both Japanese and Western, was impressive.

A friend recommended this place and we visited together for the first time. The prices here are so cheap! It's almost like a supermarket with how affordable everything is. Especially the ice cream, traditional Japanese sweets (like dumplings and rice cakes), cream puffs, and cakes are unbelievably cheap! This time, I bought a soda ice cream and a fluffy roll. The ice cream was cheap, big, and delicious - it had everything! The fluffy roll (399 yen) was absolutely delicious. The portion size, taste, and price were all perfect. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I ordered a chocolate cake. The shop is spacious and offers a variety of products, but there aren't many types of cakes available. I chose a chocolate cake with less sponge visible on the side. When I tasted it, I found it to be fluffy, even though I don't usually like sponge cakes. The prices are relatively high compared to other items in the shop, but still cheaper than other places. I was pleasantly surprised by the fluffy texture, as I didn't have high expectations. The chocolate part was delicious. Other products are generally affordable, similar to prices in supermarkets. The stylish ambiance of the shop gives a great sense of value. It's a convenient place for tea enthusiasts and there is always at least one customer present, making it very welcoming. Cars come and go frequently.
