There are several izakayas around here, like the yakitori place just ahead, and another izakaya a little further down. If you go to Sano Station, you'll have more options, but I'm fine with the choices around here since I'm driving and don't know where to park. I've been here a few times because there aren't many options. The menu is mainly focused on yakitori, but they also have hot pot dishes and a variety of chicken sashimi, which sets them apart from others. So I had some yakitori and chicken sashimi. I'd like to come back once the state of emergency is lifted.

The yakitori was lacking in flavor and the quality of the meat was not great. The horse sashimi was watery.

Do you remember the news that President Bush visited a yakitori restaurant in 2015? It was not a fancy or popular place, but a simple chain restaurant with a rating of 3.2 on Tabelog. I couldn't remember what kind of dish yakitori was because I haven't had it in a long time, but it is basically grilled chicken on skewers. The restaurant also serves typical izakaya dishes. I ordered a set of 10 yakitori skewers for 1,100 yen (excluding tax), along with a 200 yen oolong tea and a 300 yen appetizer. Overall, it was a typical yakitori experience with smoke from cigarettes, as expected in a drinking establishment.

◆2014/11/17◆I stayed at Best Western Hotel Kansai Airport on a business trip and visited this yakitori restaurant called Yakitori Hakkaku nearby, which I found through a search on Tabelog. The restaurant had a warehouse-like atmosphere and was almost full. I ordered a yakitori platter, horse sashimi, horse yukhoe (Korean-style raw horse meat), chanja (Korean-style spicy miso soup), grilled beef tongue skewers, and a few other dishes. Overall, everything was decent and reasonably priced, giving a good value for money. The horse sashimi was lean and easy to eat without any strong flavors. Personally, I really enjoyed the grilled beef tongue skewers. They were delicious. The best part of the experience was the friendly service. Osaka is great after all! (^^) Thank you for the meal.

We stayed at a hotel in Nane-no, near Kansai International Airport, before our trip in the New Year. Arriving late, my wife and I visited this nearby restaurant. The table seats were full, so we were seated at the end of the long L-shaped counter. We ordered a draft beer, which came with a complimentary simmered dish. We also ordered two skewers each of chicken skin (100 yen), gizzard (100 yen), meatball (120 yen), and chicken liver (100 yen). Additionally, we ordered the creative five-skewer assortment (580 yen) that caught our eye on the menu. The skewers had a faint charcoal aroma and were delicious. We later switched to hot sake from Nane-no, and added a cherry blossom meat yukhoe (680 yen) to our order. The yukhoe was surprisingly light and did not have any unpleasant odor, making it a perfect accompaniment to the sake. The staff's attentiveness, such as offering to move us to a vacant table when one became available, was appreciated. Thank you for the meal.

In the past, this place was a rare spot in the neighborhood where you could eat chicken sashimi at a chicken-focused restaurant. Unfortunately, after the controversy surrounding raw meat like beef liver, it was removed from the menu, which was a shame. The yakitori was charcoal-grilled and had a smoky aroma, which might not be suitable for children. The tsukune (chicken meatballs) are delicious! I wonder if they still have the parent bird tataki... that was tasty too. After chicken sashimi was removed from the menu, new items like horse sashimi and cherry blossom yukke were added. Highly recommended! The menu is diverse, and you can leave feeling full (*´∀`*) I only have two photos because I got lazy taking more w.

Visited the yakitori restaurant "Hakkaku" in Hineno, Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture. The location is along Prefectural Route 30. It is located on the left side just before the overpass when heading towards Kumatori from the Hineno Station downhill intersection. Started with a draft beer. Ordered yakitori such as seseri (chicken neck), kokoro (heart), liver, and skin. For side dishes, we had chicken karaage, horse sashimi, and deep-fried tofu with dashi broth. During the limited time in July, we tried the octopus skewers and octopus karaage, both priced at 200 yen each. Both had a good texture and were delicious. We ended up ordering more octopus skewers. However, I requested the skin to be crispy but it was chewy instead, which was disappointing. Also, the chicken karaage was too salty, and the spiciness lingered even after drinking beer. It would be better if they pay more attention to the saltiness. Other than that, everything else was fine, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.
