At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, I went to "Grill Jurintei" at Oe Bridge. Going down to the basement and entering the restaurant, I was surprised by the luxurious counter and table seats. It didn't feel like a Western-style restaurant at all. I ordered the most popular dish, "Wagyu hamburger with egg (1,100 yen)" which came with rice and corn potage soup as a set. Unfortunately, the second most popular dish, "Pork loin ginger stir-fry," was sold out that day. Soon, the corn potage soup arrived. I took a sip. Delicious. The natural sweetness and moderate saltiness were perfect. It warmed up my cold body. Eight minutes later, the Wagyu hamburger arrived. I took a bite. Delicious. It had plenty of meat juice, but it didn't overflow unnecessarily, so it stayed in my mouth. The meat was tender, and the quality of fat was just right, not too heavy. Most of all, the demi-glace sauce was rich but not overpowering, with a deep and flavorful taste. It was addictively good. I had mistakenly entered the wrong neighboring restaurant thinking it was "Jurintei" before, but I finally made it to the right place this time. I'm interested in trying the "homemade curry" or "Hayashi rice" next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Located along the Dojimagawa River, just east of Midosuji, is a hidden gem of a Western-style restaurant called "Grill Jurintei". As you descend the stairs, a beautiful restaurant appears. Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed. You will be seated at the counter. The lunch menu is extensive. I ordered the most popular dish, the "hamburger set". I could catch a glimpse of the efficient process of kneading the hamburger right in front of me in the kitchen. First, soup was served, and it seemed to be a "potage" style soup. It had a gentle and mellow flavor. The hamburger that came out was dark in color. Also, it seemed that the fried egg was cooked together with the hamburger. You can choose between chopsticks or fork & knife, but today I chose chopsticks. I enjoyed the firm texture of the hamburger, and when I broke into the fried egg, the yolk oozed out. The rich sauce transformed into a mellow flavor. I am deeply in love with this beautifully presented hamburger.

This is a Western-style restaurant located near Oe Bridge. I visited during Saturday lunch hours. The location is south of Umeda along Midosuji Avenue. Instead of going all the way to Nakanoshima or Osaka City Hall, turn left before crossing the bridge and you'll see a building on the riverside. The restaurant is located underground. It was my first time visiting during lunch hours, so it was also my first time experiencing the bustling atmosphere. Customers dining alone or in groups seemed to be enjoying their meals. The service was a bit rushed, but understandable since there were only two staff members. I recommend trying their popular No. 1 dish, the Wagyu hamburger steak with egg (¥1100). The hamburger steak is coarsely ground with a perfect level of doneness, not rare but not overcooked. The flavor is quite rich and the dish is very satisfying. The demi-glace sauce has a balanced taste with a hint of bitterness, which I personally enjoy. I also liked the Fukujinzuke pickles served as a palate cleanser. I finished my meal quickly and once again confirmed that this restaurant is one of my go-to places.

Located on the B1F of a building along the river in Nishi-Temma, "Grill Jurin-tei" is a spacious underground restaurant. Upon opening the door, you will find a relaxed atmosphere with a counter seating for 7 and around 5 tables. There are luggage cases available. Arriving at 11:45, by 12 o'clock, it is almost full, with mostly male customers. Their specialty, the Wagyu hamburger steak with a sunny-side-up egg, costs 1100 yen including tax. They serve corn soup first, which is a nice touch especially with the effective air conditioning. The hamburger steak, made with coarsely ground Wagyu beef, is delicious and hearty. The demi-glace sauce is rich, making it a great match with the rice. Although the salad portion is small, the overall value for money is good. Given the location, it's worth noting that curry cutlets are also quite popular among the male customers. If you're interested in this restaurant, please consider saving it based on this review.

Today, I arrived a little late around 12:10, but luckily I was able to enter the restaurant right away. I ordered the mixed fry that I had been wanting to try for a while. As expected from Jyurin-tei, it was delicious. The beef cutlet in particular was outstanding. It was so tender and had no tough parts, I couldn't stop eating it. Everything I tried was delicious, so it's hard to decide what to order next, but I might go for the hashed beef rice that the person next to me was eating... Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited Jurin-tei, a famous Western-style restaurant. It's located in the basement of a mixed-use building, so it might be a bit hard to find. I had their curry this time, after trying their hamburger before. The curry had a good amount of spices and a hint of demi-glace flavor. It was moderately spicy and very delicious. I would recommend the hamburger to first-time visitors. Thank you for the meal.

I visited during lunchtime. I had the Hayashi Rice, which had large pieces of meat and onions with a nice balance of sweetness, making it a sophisticated dish. The Fukujinzuke (pickles) were particularly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and it was a lovely space. Next time, I would like to try the hamburger. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I was told that there were only 2 hamburgers left, so I suddenly felt like having a hamburger! It came with shrimp fry, so I decided to get it. The set included a hamburger, shrimp fry, soup, and rice for 1000 yen. The sauce on the hamburger was a bit more bitter than I expected. I had imagined a slightly sweet demi-glace sauce, so I was a bit surprised. The shrimp fry was average. The ginger pork I had last time was delicious, so I was hoping for something similar. Next time, I'll go for the ginger pork! Thank you for the meal!

From Yodoyabashi, head north on Midosuji, cross two bridges and turn left to find this restaurant. Going down the stairs to the basement, you'll find a Western-style restaurant with a touch of elegance. The menu offers reasonable prices overall, and today, with a mix of excitement from working on a holiday and a sense of loneliness as the season comes to an end, I ordered the Ise oyster fry. The oysters are on the smaller side, which I prefer over larger ones for their concentrated flavor and ease of eating in one bite without the oyster and batter separating. Both tartar sauce and Worcestershire sauce are served, which is a bonus. Who decided to eat oyster fry with tartar sauce? I enjoy it with tartar, with Worcestershire, and with both sauces. Delicious. I also like the appearance of the cook. Overall, I conclude that this is THE Western-style restaurant.

In the past, it was located near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, in front of Tenma Tenjin Shosotei, a rakugo theater. However, it has now moved to Nishi-Tenma. When you go downstairs, you will find a bright and clean interior. I went with a friend and decided to share the fried oysters and ginger pork half-and-half. First, they served us a potage soup to warm us up on a cold day. When we told them we would share, they brought us separate plates and sauces for the fried oysters. The ginger pork was moist and tender, with fresh vegetables on the side. All this for 900 yen, quite a bargain. The fried oysters, from Hiroshima, were quite large and crispy on the outside. They come with tartar sauce and another sauce for flavor variation. I like tartar sauce, but sometimes I try both sauces together. Oh, isn't this the same as the way to eat Tamagoyaki in Akashi? (By the way, I prefer Tamagoyaki with just dashi broth). They had a variety of reasonably priced menu items, so I will definitely be back to try more. Thank you for the meal!

Today's pick is the Pork Loin Cutlet Curry for 900 yen, with an option to add extra rice for 100 yen. The restaurant has a bright and open atmosphere, located near Kita-Shinchi with reasonable prices. It's great to relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch here. The curry is a special, voluminous dish that defies the usual image of the restaurant. It features a huge cutlet covered in plenty of curry sauce, creating a happy combination. The curry has a rich and deep flavor, similar to a stew with a creamy demi-glace sauce. The spiciness is just right, at a medium level. The cutlet is big but easy to eat, neatly cut and delicious. It goes well with the rice. The salad that comes with it makes for a satisfying and cost-effective lunch menu. Although the restaurant may be hard to find underground, it's a hidden gem where you can leisurely enjoy Western-style cuisine in the afternoon. Other menu items also look delicious. Bringing happiness to you through food. Bon appétit!

【Grill Kirintei: Osaka-Nishi Temma】Visited on October 29, 2022 (Saturday, daytime) from "Oe Bridge Station" Exit 5 (about 2 minutes walk from Kitahama Station) with no waiting time at 12:00 pm. Outside the building, there is a signboard for the restaurant. Going down the stairs, you will find the exterior of the restaurant. Grill Kirintei is located right after crossing Oe Bridge from Oe Bridge Station, and it is known for its delicious curry, so I decided to visit! *Curry is limited to lunchtime only. The restaurant has a clean and stylish atmosphere with a calm ambiance. The interior has a counter and a kitchen, and it is surprisingly spacious with plenty of table seats for multiple people. The curry menu consists of "Beef Curry," "Pork Loin Cutlet Curry," "Shrimp Fry Curry," "Pork Tenderloin Cutlet Curry," and "Domestic Beef Tenderloin Beef Cutlet Curry." After ordering, a salad was served. A beautiful and simple white plate arrived. I ordered the Pork Loin Cutlet Curry (900 yen). The curry had a rich and intense flavor just by looking at its color and viscosity. It paired well with the thinly fried pork loin. The spiciness was not too strong. The simple Fukujinzuke (pickles) was a nice touch. Overall, it was a sophisticated and bitter European-style curry typical of a Western restaurant. The freshly fried cutlet was delicious, and I was also intrigued by the shrimp fry. Other Western-style dishes on the menu looked incredibly appetizing as well! First visit. Went to Jyurinte, a restaurant near the office. Was intrigued by the curry at this Western-style restaurant, so I ordered the pork loin cutlet curry. It arrived in just over 5 minutes. It tasted like a rich beef curry from a Western-style restaurant, and I was able to eat it quickly. The tonkatsu was surprisingly thick and juicy, not what you would expect for just 150 yen. I would like to try the other menu items as well.

Today, after a meeting at the law office, I stopped by Jyurin-tei for lunch. I couldn't decide between the classic hamburger or the mixed fry, but ended up ordering the mixed fry for 1100 yen. I haven't been eating a lot of fried food lately (or at least I think so, been eating more tempura), so I thought, why not. It wasn't amazingly delicious, but it was decent and satisfying. No smoking allowed. Thank you for the meal!

The Western-style restaurant doesn't have to be fancy, but this place is clean and tidy, a clean Western-style restaurant. I've tried the oyster fry, hamburger, and all were good, so this time I ordered the mixed fry. Mmm, delicious! It's perfect for someone like me who is greedy. The luxurious plate comes with beef cutlet, minced cutlet, shrimp fry, squid fry, and fried chicken, each one. Of course, it also comes with tartar sauce and sauce without cutting corners, making it a satisfying mixed fry. Once you try this, you'll want to try more things. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived just in time at 12 o'clock for lunch and was able to get a seat without waiting in line. I had the oyster fry last time, but this time I went for the most popular dish, the hamburger with egg on top. The demi-glace sauce on the hamburger was amazing, I almost wanted to ask for more sauce. The hamburger itself was juicy and tender, and when combined with the sauce and egg, it disappeared in no time. I could easily have eaten one more. Well, I guess it's just the right amount for a lunch. Thank you for the meal.

This is it! Professional hamburger! Enjoy delicious Western cuisine! In May 2022, near the courthouse... There is a grill Western restaurant. Going down the stairs, there is a sign saying "Enjoy Western cuisine!" How wonderful! They carefully drip coffee with Nel, and the demiglace sauce is meticulously prepared. The open kitchen is clean and inviting. The hamburger set meal is 1100 yen. The hamburger, cooked after receiving the order, is delicious. First, there is potage soup. It's not too thick, but it's well-made and tasty. The hamburger on the plate, with a salad, is beautifully presented. The soft hamburger, with plenty of meat juices, is a professional hamburger. It's delicious! The quality at this price is amazing. It may not be flashy, but how about trying this delicious Western cuisine? It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. ❤️

★Dinner trip during the old man's work break (Osaka, Nishi-Temma)! ⇒ How rude to call it such! This is a genuine Western-style restaurant♪: I tried the top 3 dishes here and enjoyed their deliciousness. Now I feel like having curry next♪ * "Homemade Western-style Curry - Domestic Beef Tenderloin Cutlet Curry" for 1400 yen (tax included) ... 3.3: In addition to the main dish, a "mini salad" is included with the original tangy dressing from the restaurant♪ Today's "Domestic Beef Tenderloin (60-80g)" is from Shizuoka♪ The meat in this cutlet is incredibly tender, almost without any fibrous texture, and pairs perfectly with the breading. The curry roux is more of a demi-glace type, with a mature taste. It has a rich depth of flavor and a strong spiciness that follows afterwards, making it a unique and original curry that can only be tasted here. Conclusion: To be able to eat such high-quality meat at this price is amazing. It's a great quality meat that doesn't lose to branded black beef. I just wish they also included the restaurant's delicious "potage" with this set.♪ Thank you for always liking, saving, and following the restaurant. Feel free to leave comments or questions. I look forward to your continued support.

When crossing from Yodoyabashi to Oebashi for some errands, I came across a Western-style restaurant called "Kirin-tei." I arrived a bit late, so the mixed fry and pork ginger were sold out, and even though I was tempted by the most popular wagyu hamburger, I went for the Ise fresh oyster fry because it was available. First, a potage soup was served, followed by the oyster fry, which had more oysters than I expected, and the tartar sauce was relatively light and very delicious. I wish there was a bit more tartar sauce, but overall it was great. I would like to try other items on the menu in the future. Thank you for the meal.

After visiting the dentist, I had lunch at "Jurin-tei" and ordered the oyster fry set. I love oyster fry and have it often, but this one ranks in the top 3 of those I've had in Osaka. The oysters were small but there were 8 of them, and the batter was crispy and delicious. While I was eating, others who came later ordered 2 oyster fries, 2 mixed fries, 3 hamburgers, 1 pork ginger stir-fry, and 1 beef curry. As advertised, the hamburger was the most popular. Thank you for the meal!
