After that, the three of us, the woman, the mama, and I, decided to go to a deep bar in Shinsekai. Feeling good, I said, "Please put the woman's drinks on my tab!" The mama replied, "Sure, got it," and when the bill came around, I reluctantly handed over 10,000 yen, saying, "Keep the change!" The response was light, "Sure, sure!" In the previous restaurant, the mama ran outside to give me the change, but in this one, there was no such sentiment at all, haha.

We started drinking at noon because one of our drinking buddies had to leave early in the evening, but then they changed their mind and we ended up drinking non-stop until almost 10 pm. We are now at a restaurant owned by a niece of a mutual acquaintance who unfortunately passed away. He used to join us whenever we gathered like this and his presence is missed. The restaurant is known for its pork dishes, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We were all in a natural high state, enjoying the food and drinks. We even welcomed another friend who joined us later in the night with a surprise. We continued drinking and having a great time until the end. This wraps up our Bon holiday weekend drinking party.

The other day, we went to the 7th place. I have been drinking with this group of friends and ○○san for over 10 years. We always split the bill, so everyone is treated equally regardless of age. We met by chance at Tenyu in Nishinari Kishisato and hit it off, then ended up at a karaoke izakaya in Sannou. It's actually the niece of one of our drinking buddies who owns the place, so I feel like I'm about 20 years younger in spirit (even though she's actually older than me, haha). The cutlet curry on a silver plate looked impressive, and I was excited! Hiyoshi pork is really delicious! The fatty part is incredibly sweet... The curry is quite spicy and really delicious! When the meal was served, I thought 150g seemed like a lot, but I was grateful and dug in. The cabbage was crunchy and the dressing was delicious. They also provided mustard, sauce, and dashi salt for the pork, so I tried it with dashi salt, and it was incredibly tasty! The meat was sweet and had a great flavor. I also tried it with mustard and sauce, but the salt brought out the meat's umami the best! The miso soup was like pork soup with plenty of ingredients, and it came with cold tofu. The white rice was probably made with good rice, shiny and delicious. Mama-san told me to come back next time for the curry cutlet, so I will definitely return! Well, I participated while feeling like there must be something behind it (lol). The dishes that came out little by little were delicious, and actually, I love this kind of course. On days like this, I feel like drinking delicious sake, so I quickly had two different types of sake (2 cups each).
