This time, I visited Gokoku at AEON Mall Fukuoka in Kasuya Town, Kasuya District, Fukuoka Prefecture. I had lunch there and after looking at the menu, I suddenly felt like having mackerel. So, I ordered the grilled mackerel set meal for 1,089 yen, with the option to upgrade to five-grain rice. The mackerel had thick flesh and was deliciously fatty. Japanese cuisine really brings a sense of calm, doesn't it? The portion size was a bit small, but overall, I felt satisfied and cozy. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch with my cousin at a restaurant and chose white fish with black vinegar sauce. It was delicious and something I wouldn't normally make at home. I also enjoyed the mixed grain rice, which I rarely cook at home. ❤️

I was intrigued by the eel set meal displayed on the signboard in front of the shop, so I decided to visit. The shop seemed like a typical chain restaurant. I placed my order using the touch panel at my table, which was a convenient system. The eel set meal seemed to have less eel than shown in the picture. I wish they would just increase the price instead of reducing the portion size. The tempura oil tasted like it was from a chain restaurant. I guess their selling point is the 5-grain rice, so they might be considered a healthy restaurant.

I came here a while ago, but the fact that it's still around means it must be quite popular. I appreciate that they offer free rice refills! Although I usually only get one refill (´⊙ω⊙`) Today, I ordered the fried chicken with seasoned sauce, a kids' lunch set, and grilled mackerel set. There was surprisingly a lot of chicken, and I ended up feeling full Σ(・□・;). Even the kids finished their meals! It's rare to see grilled mackerel included in a kids' set! I tried a bit of the mackerel from the set, and it was delicious with its rich flavor d(^_^o). Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m

On holidays, Ion Mall turns into a battlefield during lunchtime. Every restaurant has a long line of customers waiting, so I decided to go early. However, it seemed like everyone had the same idea, as most seats were already taken. I was in the mood for fish, so I ordered the striped Hokke set meal. It came with plenty of grated daikon radish, a hearty miso soup with lots of ingredients, and delicious rice. Japanese food always brings a sense of calm, especially for an old guy like me. It was a satisfying meal.

I ordered the grilled Atka mackerel set meal. I added 100 yen to the basic price of 1,080 yen to change it to a special miso soup. The miso soup was very satisfying. As shown in the picture, it also came with braised pork and a hot spring egg. While the rice was free for refills, I was a bit disappointed that the main dish of mackerel was a bit thin. There's nothing to complain about in terms of taste, but considering the content, I hope they aim for a price that is under 1,000 yen including tax.

Today we had lunch at the Aeon Mall. It was around 1 pm on Sunday, but surprisingly there were no long lines anywhere and it was smooth. We were undecided on where to eat, but since my parents were with me, we decided on a Japanese restaurant called Gokoku. There were four of us, so we were seated at a table for four, but to be honest, it was quite cramped. When we placed our four set meals on the table, we had to eat at an angle and it was a bit disappointing. Since we are all slim, it was manageable for us, but it might be tight for larger individuals. The set meals cost around 1000 yen each, and rice refills were free. I ordered the Chicken Nanban set meal for about 1280 yen, which came with grilled vegetables and dessert, and it was very delicious and easy to eat. The pickles and side dishes were also tasty. There were many options available, so I would like to visit this restaurant again. However, the cramped space at the four-person table was quite bothersome.

When I went to Ion Mall LUCUA Fukuoka, I visited this restaurant. I hesitated between having Chinese food or pasta, but after walking back and forth in the restaurant area three times, I decided on this place because it had many healthy and body-friendly menu options. I think I ordered the Five-Grain Country Set Meal. The five-grain rice was delicious, and the miso soup had a rich flavor. I liked the mackerel as I wanted to get enough DHA. The set meal came with a choice of dessert. I felt satisfied after having a healthy and proper meal.

This is a restaurant located in the restaurant area of Aeon Mall Fukuoka. I visited for dinner. My friend ordered the Five-Grain Abundant Set for 1580 yen, and I ordered the Chicken Nanban Set for 920 yen. This restaurant is particular about their rice, especially their five-grain rice. Some set menus come with five-grain rice, but for slightly cheaper set menus, you can choose to add five-grain rice for an additional fee. I chose not to change the rice for my Chicken Nanban Set, which came with white rice. The Five-Grain Abundant Set included rice, grilled beef tongue, three kinds of sashimi, mapo tofu, miso soup, pickles, and a choice of dessert. The beef tongue had a good texture and the mapo tofu was well seasoned. The dessert options were limited but had a subtly sweet and healthy taste. The Chicken Nanban Set included chicken nanban, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The flavors were light and slightly bland, not quite to my liking. Overall, the prices were high and the meals were health-oriented. This restaurant seems to cater more to adults who prefer light meals.

This time, I stretched my legs to Aeon Mall Fukuoka for some shopping. As always, it's so spacious! It's been a while since I last visited, and there are some new shops which is refreshing. But this particular shop hasn't changed, which is reassuring. I remember always eating here after shopping. "Gokoku" is a place where you can enjoy decent Japanese food at a reasonable price. This time, I had their popular lunch menu, the "Special Umami Sauce Pork Belly Grilled Set" (930 yen). It's their No.2 popular dish, and it looked delicious with a long line of people waiting. It was tasty! The pork belly had a nice firm texture. The best part about this place is their rice cooked in a pot. The rice is delicious, which is a big plus. The side dish of kibinago nanban was also good, refreshing the palate after the rich pork belly. The miso soup and pickles were all delicious too. My wife had the "Silver Salmon and Vegetable Black Vinegar Ankake Set" (1,030 yen). She seemed to enjoy it as well. It's a menu that women would appreciate. I tried a bit of hers, and the black vinegar ankake was tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying Japanese meal. Thank you for the meal. Eating Japanese food after shopping in a shopping mall was a nice way to relax.

Ion Mall Fukuoka LUCLE houses a chain restaurant called Gokoku, which offers slightly health-conscious dishes such as five-grain rice in a concept centered around the theme of "abundant harvest of grains." It is convenient for those looking for a proper meal in a shopping mall setting, with plenty of vegetables available. The prices for the set meals are a bit on the higher side, but the quality is generally good. I ordered the saury set meal this time, as I was craving seasonal saury. The set meal comes with a dessert that you can pick up yourself. The dishes are all decently tasty, with the tempura being particularly crispy and delicious. Overall, the chain restaurant offers a sense of stability with no major disappointments. The service may seem a bit scripted, but the clear concept of promoting a healthy and stylish dining experience, focusing on seasonal ingredients and allowing customers to choose their dessert, is appealing. It's a nice place to enjoy a good meal without the usual junk food options during your shopping trip, although it would be even better if the prices were a bit lower.

This is a Japanese restaurant located on the first floor of Aeon Mall LUCLE Fukuoka. The restaurant is designed to be family-friendly, with a theme of "becoming beautiful from the inside out" based on the abundance of the five grains. The menu includes a variety of Japanese dishes, and I decided to order the mackerel and tofu with meat set meal. The mackerel was served separately on a different plate. The set meal also included the restaurant's famous delicious meat tofu. The miso soup is made with 100% domestically sourced ingredients for a perfect balance of health. I paid an extra 105 yen to change the white rice to five-grain rice, which is a nutritious rice cooked in a pot with red koji added. Of course, pickles are also served with the meal. The restaurant is located in the food court on the first floor of Aeon Mall. If you're interested, the address is 192-1 Oinoki, Sake-no-ko, Kasuya-machi, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka, and the phone number is 092-939-7752. The opening hours are from 10:00 to 22:00, and they are open every day.

"I enjoyed a healthy Japanese set meal at 'Gokoku' with a focus on the five grains ☆ Located on the first floor of Aeon Mall Lacle, 'Gokoku' offers rice cooked in a pot and health-conscious set meals. The menu is extensive, with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, as well as various side dishes to choose from. I had a hard time deciding because everything looked delicious. I was tempted to try the seasonal menu item, Oyster Tempura Don Set, but ended up choosing the Country-style Set Meal (1134 yen) which came with white or five-grain rice, grilled mackerel, chicken and vegetable sweet vinegar sauce, meat tofu, miso soup, and pickles. The sweet vinegar sauce was my favorite, although the meat tofu was also flavorful. The meal was filling, and I even had a dessert of black sesame, matcha, and soy milk pudding. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience at Gokoku, and I recommend trying it out if you come across one of their locations nationwide."

A restaurant in Aeon Mall Fukuoka. I was feeling a bit under the weather and wanted something gentle on my stomach for balance, so I decided to try this place. I ordered the "Grilled Silver Hilas Marinated in Miso Set Meal" for 1180 yen. It was a bit on the pricey side, but it was really delicious. The aroma, the tenderness of the fish, it made me feel happy. I want to get better at eating grilled fish. I was so satisfied that I wanted to get a second serving of rice. Thank you for the meal. I feel like my health is improving.
