There are so many different types of Kit Kats available at the Kit Kat Gift Shop. I bought several varieties to take home. Even though I don't like sweet things, I couldn't resist. Kit Kat's adult matcha flavor is loved by many people. It's rare to find such a sophisticated taste in a popular snack. If I had to recommend one, it would be the matcha flavor. The adult sweetness strawberry flavor is also delicious. If you like strawberry chocolate, you should enjoy it.

During a shopping trip to Rinku Premium Outlets in February 2023, my mother-in-law and I decided to stop by a KitKat specialty store. We had finished our main shopping and thought it would be nice to explore the wide grounds of the outlet. The KitKat store looked cute and inviting from the outside, making it easy for us to pop in. With Valentine's Day approaching, I was looking for something unique and affordable to give as a gift, and I came across the Heartful Bear (6 pieces for 640 yen) which seemed perfect. My mother-in-law also bought the "Adult Sweetness White" KitKat (322 yen) which my husband loves. The store not only had limited edition items but also a variety of unique KitKat flavors from different regions across Japan, making the whole experience exciting. While my husband and I were browsing, my mother-in-law, who was tired from walking around the outlet, found a KitKat-themed bench inside the store where she could rest after finishing her shopping. It was a nice touch and we were grateful for the opportunity to take a break.

We stopped by Rinku Premium Outlets for shopping and the 4-year-old child who loves chocolate wanted everything. There were so many varieties of chocolates that even adults would want to buy a lot. We purchased an Advent calendar for 2970 yen, which may include chocolates the child doesn't like, but we made a promise that they can only open one a day and not two. The child is looking forward to opening the calendar in a few days with excitement. The anticipation is so much fun!

I went to Rinku Premium Outlets. On the way to the stores I was interested in, I came across this KitKat logo. Inside, there were various types and flavors of KitKats on display. There were flavors I had never seen before, in addition to the ones I see at local supermarkets or drugstores. Among them, I purchased the Halloween-themed "Apple Cinnamon flavor". I wonder if this flavor is already being sold somewhere else, or if it will be available in stores soon? Or is it exclusive to specialty stores like this one? In any case, since it's a product I don't usually see, I felt like I got a good deal buying it. It's a chocolate with a strong apple cinnamon flavor and aroma, with very little cocoa taste. It's quite sweet. It would go well with straight tea.

As I was walking through Rinku Premium Outlets, I passed by a person carrying a KitKat shop bag a few times and became curious, so I decided to ask. The store, which was all red and easily recognizable from a distance, had limited edition KitKats from different regions. Since I visited in the late afternoon, I was able to shop at a leisurely pace. It seems like it would be a great souvenir to bring back!

They all have such cute packaging ♡ ✱ Mini Banana Caramel (12 pieces) ¥322: White chocolate with banana caramel flavor, with banana powder and caramel powder mixed into the wafer layers ♡ ✱ Mini Strawberry Milk (12 pieces) ¥322: Wafer with strawberry powder and condensed milk powder sandwiched to create the taste of strawberry milk ♡ ✱ Everyday Nuts & Cranberry (14 pieces) ¥399: A combination of KitKat's crispy texture with the flavors and textures of nuts and cranberries in a petit sweet ♡ It was delicious ♡ Thank you for the meal~ヾ(❛ᴗ˂ *)Ⓟ

I purchased a variety of KitKat Chocolatory series, which uses couverture chocolate, from a well-known KitKat available in stores. Despite the high price similar to luxury chocolate stores, many people were buying assortments before Valentine's Day. The prices were as follows: Moleson @540 yen, New Chocolatory @324 yen, Chocolatory Yuzu @324 yen, Sublime Matcha @324 yen, New Sublime Ruby @432 yen. According to the official website, the features of KitKat Chocolatory include the type and origin of cocoa, manufacturing process, and combination of ingredients. The comments from the pastry chef & chocolatier Takagi emphasize the high-quality chocolate used, as well as the enjoyable combinations with ingredients like nuts, matcha, and yuzu. While a bit pricey, it would be a delightful treat to receive.

In June 2019, I bought some local Kit-Kat flavors as souvenirs from the Kit-Kat gift shop at Rinku Premium Outlets. After researching the different local flavors available, I chose the Tokyo Rum Raisin (12 pieces for 864 yen) and got a bonus piece of the Tokai Azuki Sandwich flavor. Tokyo Rum Raisin: This might be my favorite Kit-Kat flavor I've ever tried. It has a hint of alcohol in it, but it's not overpowering. The rum raisin flavor was delicious and enjoyable. Azuki Sandwich flavor: Another great choice. I was worried the azuki flavor might be overshadowed by the chocolate, but it was actually quite strong and tasty. The azuki flavor might have even been stronger than the chocolate. Overall, both flavors were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

On June 16, 2019, I visited the Rinku Premium Outlets and had a breakfast of "modern yaki" and "yakisoba" shared with a friend at 10 am. We then did a lot of shopping, had lunch at 12 pm with "chuka soba" and an "espresso shake", which was so cold that it felt like my head and heart might freeze and stop! I had to lie down for a while on the table and after about 3 minutes, I revived. Next, we stepped into the "KitKat Gift Shop" we found right away at the food court. The walls and shelves inside the store were painted bright red, making it seem like a cow might get lost in there (lol). The bench by the chocolate-colored wall looked like a giant KitKat bar, making for an interesting store. They had a variety of KitKat products, including regional souvenirs and the "KitKat Chocolatory" line supervised by a pastry chef. I picked up the "KitKat Amaou Ichigo Mini 12-pack" for 864 yen including tax, a Kyushu souvenir featuring the "Amaou" strawberry variety born in Fukuoka, with its rich aroma enveloped in white chocolate and crispy wafer. I thought the name "Amaou" came from "sweet king of strawberries," but it actually originates from the variety's original name, "Fukuoka S6." The name is a play on words representing the characteristics of the fruit: large, round, red, and delicious. I chilled them in the fridge and enjoyed the sweet pink white chocolate with a hint of strawberry aroma every day. I also tried the KitKat "Nihonshu Mansui" flavored with sake from Toyama, supervised by former soccer player Hidetoshi Nakata. As soon as I opened the bag, the smell of sake filled the air, and while the appearance was normal, the taste made me feel a bit tipsy. Definitely not suitable for kids or eating while driving! Now, it's time to hurry back home before the parking fees go up after 3 hours. Bon appétit! (●^o^●)
