When I arrived at Yodobashi Umeda to buy a vacuum cleaner, we decided to first grab something to eat at this place called Kyoto Vegetable Spaghetti. It is located on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Umeda. The menu has a variety of options, so it's recommended to decide what to eat by looking at the showcase before entering. The lunch menu mainly consists of pasta with different types such as mentaiko, olive oil, dashi-based, tomato-based, cream-based, soy sauce butter-based, meat sauce-based, and more. In addition to individual dishes, there are also two set options available: Kamogawa Set and Sakaimachi Set. We ordered two Kamogawa Sets with olive oil-based Sakaimachi lively aglio e olio with plenty of aromatic vegetables, and a drink (iced coffee). The set included a Japanese-style salad with salted kelp flavor, a Japanese-style soup with seaweed and bonito flakes, and the Sakaimachi lively aglio e olio which had ingredients like sausage, bacon, duck, shrimp, eggplant, Kujyo green onion, mizuna, kaiware daikon, Manjuya togarashi, myoga, and more. The pasta was flavorful and delicious with a gentle taste typical of Kyoto. My wife had the Kyoto-style pasta with Kujyo green onion, shrimp, and mentaiko butter from the mentaiko category, and a hot coffee. The portions were generous and we enjoyed our meal. It's a fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine using Kyoto vegetables. You can also opt for a larger portion for an additional fee. I look forward to trying the Kyoto-style dessert next time. Thank you for the meal.
