I visited Sushi Sensu main store in Tsunashizaki Shinchi. Thanks to Mr. N, I was able to get into this super popular restaurant! It's a 4-5 minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station. You enter the restaurant by going down the stairs to the basement. There are clean counter seats and table seats, and this time I was able to sit at a table seat!! I had the Omakase Sensu eight-piece nigiri sushi + Kohada + Nikumiso roll + Toro Taku roll! I had a great time with delicious sushi and enjoyable drinks, making it another happy moment!

I went to a popular restaurant in Kitashinchi after a long time! The affiliated store here, "Sushi Akazu," offers courses at a decent price! However, it's hard to get a reservation, so even if you want to go, you can't! To make it easier to enjoy sushi, they have a separate line where you can order individual pieces - "Sushi Sensu"! Despite being quite affordable, the quality of the lunch bowl, like the "Salmon and Salmon Roe Donburi" for ¥1650, is already in the red... This, this, this is it! The tangy red vinegar and firm shari are delicious! I couldn't help but order a Tekka Maki too! Completely satisfied! The free Oolong tea was still available! Thank you for the meal!

The sushi itself is delicious. The rice is a bit sour, but some people may like that. However, what bothered me was the service. Even though there were enough staff, glasses were left uncleared and the explanations of the sushi were not very friendly. The staff were all smiles and chatting with the regular customers (who seemed to be wealthy or frequent visitors), but the service was not as good for younger customers or those ordering less expensive items.

I wanted to try this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and I was able to make a reservation for 5 o'clock on the day. I ordered a set of 10 pieces of sushi. The sushi rice seasoned with red vinegar was just right, and it paired well with the well-aged toppings. This is a sushi restaurant located on the main street of Kitashinchi. Most of the dining establishments in Kitashinchi are closed on Sundays, so it's nice that this place is open on Sundays. We made a reservation as usual and visited with two people. There is an L-shaped counter, table seats, and semi-private rooms. We were seated at the counter. The course we ordered this time did not include appetizers, but came with chawanmushi and red miso soup. We started with the nigiri sushi. The first one was red snapper, and the rice was seasoned with red vinegar. The rice was a bit firm. Among the 10+ pieces of nigiri, I particularly enjoyed the scallop, eel, and fatty tuna. I was able to finish everything and left feeling satisfied.

I ordered a 15-course meal but it was too much! It seems like it was too much even for the men, not just the women. I thought it would have been better to order a 10-course meal and add more if needed. The red vinegar rice was delicious, and the sushi itself was very tasty. I thought it was good value for money.

Located in the basement of a building right in the middle of Kitashinchi, this sushi restaurant uses red vinegar in their dishes. I decided to visit this place after a Foodlog user I follow recommended it, as I love sushi with red vinegar. The restaurant mainly has counter seats with a few table seats. The interior is elegant with a clean color scheme. There are two sushi chefs behind the counter and one more in the kitchen. The staff consists of two people, one of whom is about to turn 21 (so young!) but was very efficient and impressive. I opted for the 10-piece chef's choice course, with a dragon egg roll as an appetizer and a thin roll as a closer. They served seared bonito as a complimentary starter. I shared a bottle of beer with a friend and enjoyed four glasses of sake, which put me in a great mood. I love red vinegar (not a fan of sweeter sushi rice from Kansai), and the chefs and staff were efficient and friendly. Considering the quality and experience, I think this place offers great value. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The vinegared rice is cooked firm and pairs well with the red vinegar, although some may find it too hard. The nigiri sushi with belt fish was especially delicious.

When you go down to the basement floor along the main street of Kitashinchi and open the door, you will find a cozy and atmospheric restaurant. There is a counter and table seating, and on that day, I chose a table where I could relax and enjoy my drink. I ordered the chef's choice sushi, eel rolls, and a tempura assortment. I was a bit worried because the sushi was on the smaller side, but towards the end, I ordered some sushi to go with my sake, and the restaurant brought me several recommended brands to choose from. I was surprised when they suddenly brought out a bottle of "Tatenokawa" sake, as the price was not listed on the menu, but I ended up enjoying trying out different types of sake and had a great time. I forgot to take a picture of the Tatenokawa sake, but the red vinegar sushi was truly amazing, as it is quite popular these days. After a fulfilling first round, I wandered around Kitashinchi as usual.

Part of the popular Akazu Group, which includes Sushi Akazu, this restaurant offers relatively reasonable prices compared to its counterparts, with the option to order both course meals and a la carte dishes. I tried the Sensu ten-piece nigiri set, priced at 5,500 yen, which included high-quality toppings such as red snapper, salmon, yellowtail, medium fatty tuna, mackerel, yellowtail, lean tuna, salmon roe, eel, and gizzard shad. Despite the affordable price, the course menu offered a fantastic selection of premium toppings. It was simply delicious. I ordered a 10-piece course and the nigiri sushi came out right away. Personally, I liked the fatty ones like salmon and yellowtail. The Tansa sake, a dry Japanese sake, was easy to drink and very tasty! In Shinchi, it is very reasonably priced and they are active on social media, making it an easy place to visit without hesitation.

I visited for lunch. It can be intimidating to go to Kita-Shinchi at night, but during the day, it's easy to enter (^_^) So, I went to this highly-rated restaurant. The sushi here is incredibly delicious! The rice is not too overpowering, and the marinated tuna is extremely tasty. What's even better is that when I ordered my favorite ikura as a topping, the portion was beyond my expectations. And it was delicious too. I will definitely come back here again. I resisted alcohol this time, but next time I want to try some. The only downside was that the pickled ginger was too sour and made my throat hurt a bit. I usually love sour things though. The staff were all young, which was surprising. Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m

I wanted to try Sushi Sensu✨, but I still prefer conveyor belt sushi over having each piece of sushi served individually. The taste was really delicious though (〃ω〃). However, when all the plates come at once, it feels less special, so if you go here, it might be better to order one by one rather than opting for the set course. Visited the sushi restaurant "Sushi Sensu Main Store" around 7 pm on a certain day in March 2023. Located about a 2-3 minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, the underground restaurant was about 60% full. We informed them of our reservation and were seated at the counter for two. We started with a drink, ordering a "Premium Malt's (medium)" for ¥660. Enjoying the refreshing beer, we proceeded to order our food. We ordered the "Sensu Hachikan Nigiri" for ¥4,180 and some appetizers. The appetizer served was slices of sea bream with seaweed and rapeseed flowers, which had a subtly delicious taste. We then tried the Uzura Egg for ¥660, which had a slightly sweet sauce and a good texture. Next was the Hirame, a light and delicious white fish nigiri. Followed by the Salmon, which was the most delicious salmon nigiri we've had recently. We switched to a dry Japanese sake, "Kigen Konshin Shikomi Daiyon Ichigou Junmai Muroka Nama Genshu," and enjoyed it with the sushi. We then tried the Buri no Tsuke, a marinated yellowtail nigiri, and the Chutoro, a fatty tuna nigiri. We also had the Honmaguro Akami Tsuke, a marinated lean tuna nigiri, and the Kinmedai, a slightly seared golden eye snapper nigiri. The Unagi nigiri was a specialty of Osaka, and we also tried the Nodoguro nigiri wrapped in seaweed. We added the Tekka Hosomaki for ¥880, which was a delicious tuna roll. We also had the Kohada nigiri, a slightly tangy gizzard shad nigiri, and the Unakyu Maki for ¥770, a delicious eel and cucumber roll. Overall, we enjoyed high-quality sushi at "Sensu" for less than ¥10,000 per person. The red vinegar rice was a unique touch, and we particularly enjoyed the pleasant acidity. It's a convenient restaurant suitable for both casual gatherings and formal dinners. A great place to enjoy sushi in Kitashinchi and then explore the nightlife.

Today I was in Kita-Shinchi, so I came to "Sushi Sensu Main Store" here! I came for my favorite marinated rice bowl! The marinated rice bowl with red vinegar sushi rice and sweet soy sauce is really delicious! Adding grated yam on top makes it even more delicious! Definitely a must-try for lunch in Kita-Shinchi!!

I wanted to thank someone who had taken care of me, so I asked if they had any favorite foods. They mentioned they liked sushi, so I made a reservation here because they had been here before and enjoyed it. The ease of making a reservation online was a big plus. I added uni and a large eel sushi to the 15-piece omakase course. I forgot to take photos, so I don't remember everything that was served, but I do recall that the shrimp was delicious. The shrimp was really good! Everything else was also delicious, and the eel I added at the end was visually appealing and piping hot. It's easy to order a la carte, and the cost performance is great. I made a reservation through the Tabelog website and arrived at the restaurant at 6:00 PM. The place started getting busier around 7:00 PM. I opted for the course in the 9,000 yen range. The sushi was served at the right timing and brought to us smoothly. They asked about allergies and food preferences, giving a polite impression. The sushi rice wasn't too vinegary, and soy sauce was already applied in moderation. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I also ordered some sake, and they brought out a few bottles for me to choose from, based on my preference for dryness. The caramel pudding for dessert was rich and very tasty.
